The staff at Sunset Corals are so friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond to assist their customers. I’ve have nothing but joyous experiences in their shop! With a wide variety of fish and everything you would ever need as a fish keeper, this store has it all.

Decent store needs some work. They have a major aptasia problem that needs to be addressed. I thought the coral I got was free of it but it had a lot on it. Be prepared to fix that issue.Fish selection and coral selection was ok.The tanks needed some work overall. Lot of tanks were overgrown with corals that were not sellable but were killing other corals worth keeping.This store has a ton of potential just needs a bump to the next level.

Bought red root floaters (infested with bladder snails) purchased 4 amano shrimp not what I received I received 3 male cherry shrimp amd 1 orange shrimp which resulted in a fight to the death ... being a long time hobbyist this was my first time here and I can not respectively go back ... that's the type of stuff that kills the hobby I don't participate

This shop is so awesome, I am very grateful to have a store like this in town. The selection is great, and the owners are super nice and friendly. I have enjoyed each of my visits so far, and I plan on many more trips in the future!

Recently got back into the saltwater reef keeping hobby and I could not have found a better shop that was owned by a better person who truly cares about your interest. Very knowledgeable and friendly and passes saving along to the customer. I would recommend to anyone and if you have any questions the owner would be more then happy to pass along the knowledge. My tank is pretty much 100% all from sunset corals

Decided to make a spur-of-the-moment stop and check out this awesome store!! I am so glad we did. The fish tanks were awsome. The staff was full of knowledge and answered every tiny question my six-year-old threw at them them!! needless to say a salt water fish tank is definitely on the Christmas list this year

Stopped by to learn about salt water aquariums coming from freshwater. Ended up spending about 4 hours in the store. The owners are very knowledgeable and got me everything I needed to begin my saltwater journey. Looking forward to going back frequently. The selection of fish was healthy with a nice selection same for the corals.

The owner has a clear passion for the fish hobby. There's some really cool set ups and a lot of supplies for both salt and fresh water tanks. They even have a Horseshoe Crab! Awesome prices too!

I dont mind picking up supplies there but I'm picky when buying my corals especially with the high prices since covid.I like to see clean tanks when I'm buying fish and corals and every time we go in there, their tanks need cleaning. I worked in a fish store before for awhile and I always kept the aquariums clean and I got lots of compliments on how they liked seeing the tanks were always clean. First impressions matter.

Wide variety of corals and salt water aquarium needs. They also have fresh water fish and plants as well. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Lovely place!

Great store with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner especially is truly a great person he really cares about the well being of the aquarium hobby and most importantly the customers. I would 100% recommend his expertise I've been in the saltwater/reef hobby for 17+ years and it's great to have a local fish store with a friendly and experienced staff in the tri County area finally!! Prices are very reasonable as well. Five stars again!

Awesome store! Amazing selection beautiful coral beautiful fish. Very very fair pricing. The owner was very knowledgeable and I am sure I now have found the best place for me to get coral outside of frag swaps! The store hours are wonky but when this place kicks off fully I am sure it will become one of the best places in Michigan to get coral of all kinds.

My wife and I visited this past Sunday. It's a nice looking shop. It's evident that they put a lot of care into keeping their tanks clean. Their coral frag tank has a nice selection and is very well kept. Selection of saltwater fish was a bit light (reason for 4 stars), but I realize they are a newer shop and will grow. They have a good start and seem to have the right attitude. I'll come back for sure!

I’ve been going to sunset corals for about a year now and the customer service and cleanliness of the store matches no other! The owners are so so nice, down to earth, and extremely knowledgeable of corals and fish and very helpful! It definitely has that hometown family owned vibe which I love! Prices are fair and they have a nice selection of everything from salt/freshwater fish to corals to any supplies you need!! I HIGHLY suggest making Sunset Corals your go-to for any aquarium needs!

Nice place! Clean with a great ambience. The fish appear well taken care of. My son recently bought ghost shrimp and so far no casualties!I give it only 4 stars as the current hours are wonky and he doesn't carry much in tools or aquarium necessities yet. He says coming soon so will see.

The selection of coral is unique and appealing. I don't want to say to much because this place is a hidden gem for coral enthusiasts. The owner is a hobbyist also so that's a key factor when choosing a store imo. I love this place and want to keep it to myself but thats not fare! Go and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

It's a small store but they are full of fish. They mainly deal with saltwater but they are slowly getting into freshwater fish market as well. I definitely recommend checking out this place before you buy from the big box stores

Amazing and super knowledgeable staff. Great saltwater setups and freshwater tanks too. 2020 still in the process of getting established but still amazing nonetheless as far as tanks goes.
