People complain that no one is immediately at the register when they want to check out, but they will also complain when there is nothing in stock on the shelves if staff decided to just sit at the register waiting for you.Unless you've ever worked in this small of a store before, you will have no idea how hard it is to maintain it. Project after project, stocking, cleaning, running register, and not to mention what management has to do on top of that.Staff in the store keeps quitting because of the lack of empathy given by customers. The day to day job is much harder than most people believe, and currently it is much worse with what has been going on. At this very moment there is only 4 people that work at this location, soon to be only 2 left unless more applications come through.How long do you think this store will remain open with only 2 people to work it? Especially when they have to deal with customers that have absolutely no consideration for the fact that these people are human beings doing the best they can. Plenty of able-bodied people that live in the area that would rather not work, but still complain about the change of hours. Just my two cents. 🤷‍♂️

This Dollar General has a great staff of competent and friendly people working hard to make this Lincoln, Michigan store the best it can be. I'm hoping that Management and/or Owners realize just how important this is when doing business in a small town. If they don't acknowledge this and give these workers praise (incentives are good) and pats on the back, I can predict this store will go down fast, exactly like we've all experienced in other Northern Michigan small towns.I'm just sayin'...

I've been in the store a few times and the staff is never by the registers so you have to stand there and wait for them I waited for over 10 minutes once got fed up and left. The staff is also pretty rude, they constantly role there eyes and act annoyed when you ask them were something is. Over all I think the staff at the Lincoln location need to be retrained.

Always a nice place to shop! Very helpful, cheerful staff, eager to help. Great prices, and always stocked well. I go in with 1 item to buy, and come out with, 20 or more.

I'm torn. The store & employees are definately nice. It's so convenient to have an additional store in our town. Im thankful not to drive to ossineke or harrisville. I dont know if its locally owned or taking from our local economy. Im Glad its here & thankful for its convenience.If you shop at these discount stores then you're aware of their value/quality. Good option for limited $.

Well... it's a dollar general...they're all about the same...they are usually really good about getting you checked out..short waiting time..I don't like the aisles being blocked with carts of products to put on the shelves...also the hang tags"milk" saying that if there's none in cooler ask..there might b some in the back...I was told there isn't even a cooler in da back....

Very clean store. Well stocked and organized. Great place to stop for a quick shopping trip. I needed party supplies and my list was fulfilled.

They strongly encourage COVID safety and our local grocery store does not. With their wide variety of food items, I don’t have to go into the grocery store very often.

Socialism at its finestHigh prices on substandard merchandiseWake up , by buying there you’re contributing to the demise of all the other stores in your areaEver wonder why these folks will spend millions building a store in Lincoln? And Hubbard lake and Harrisville why does Alcona county need 3 of these socialist stores? What were their politicians thinking.Once they close everyone else down watch how expensive everything gets.Stay Away

They just opened about a month ago and it is convenient to run in and grab snacks or groceries. They have everything from housewares, cards, make-up. To much to list. I'm sure you can find what you need.
