Place is just very very dirty. Who wants to shop where there’s a dirty store that’s poorly maintained? Added some more pictures just keeps getting worse May 4, 2024 Also produce is not the best selection and has gone downhill. Brussel sprouts shown should be donated or thrown out. $3.59 for Shriveled up sprouts?

This is one of the worse locations in the Kroger chain of stores. My biggest complaints are the far entrance door away from the main road is locked whenever they want to with no signs saying when it closed. Then lately at 7PM all the 18 U-Scans are closed between both entrances & you better hope they aren’t busy cause you might find 3 check out lanes opens if your lucky & lines get ridiculously long quick

Smaller and an older krogers, but I thought it was easy to get my groceries..Associates seem more caring..Parking a little cramped for a busy Krogers. Need to be careful getting in and out..very small lot.I think it was more simple to get in and out!

Been shopping at this store for the last 12 years. I go twice a week. Today when I went to grab my usual items I get every week. I went to the u scan cause they decided to do that not us! Anyways I’m checking out and the lady who is supposed to be babysitting the machines decided to stand right behind me and she was in my personal space! I asked her what her problem was. I said are you thinking I’m stealing or do you want to do this? She said if you don’t like it go to a cashier! I’m doing my job!!! Really lady? It’s your job to make ppl feel uncomfortable while they are checking out? And then be rude and disrespectful about it afterwards and loudly talk back with rude sarcasm. Precedes to stand behind nobody else but goes up to someone and says I hope you’re having a good day. I finished my transaction and went right to service desk! She had put me in a full blown panic attack cause I couldn’t believe how she was talking to me. I’m not saying she deserves to lose her job, but maybe 🤔 she belongs in the meat department where she isn’t working with people directly. I only spoke to service desk employee who noticed my distress and told me to breathe! This is for every manager to read in that place and I will NOT ever step foot in your store again! ✌️✌️✌️

The store was pleasant until I needed to interact with the staff. My father and I stopped in, grabbed a few groceries; I found it off putting whenever we would greet someone, they blatantly ignored us.The cashier was nonverbal, and a lady remotely locked the wheels on my shopping cart as I was leaving. Instead of a nice farewell and receipt check, she gave my dad, myself and the cart a surface level search and then yelled "HOLD ON- I'll let you out" 🤨Needless to say we were the only African Americans there at 9 am

This is my favorite Kroger to shop in. I like the layout and everything is easy to find. They have the brown rice noodles I Love ! Everyone is always so down to earth and helpful. From security to cashiers, stockers to the bottle return guy

The store was ok but the men’s bathroom was very dirty, pee on the floor near the urinal and toilet, soap dispenser was hanging off the wall. They should have staff clean that every hour or so.Not difficult to clean a bathroom. People spend a lot of money at the store and they should have the decency to have a clean bathroom when they go.

Hate this location so much. Have had terrible customer service in general here. Make sure you check your sealed containers before leaving the store. Bought frosting without checking, got home and they were opened/unsealed and had finger swipes through it. This was my final straw here, will make the drive to Meijer or Walmart

I have made complaints to management at the store about the so-called bottle monitor who harasses people as they put bottles into the bottle machine. When I called him out on it he followed me around the store until I cashed out. I told this to management it was ignored it is on camera. My next step is to follow up with the local news. There are several people back in back me up on this

I ordered a chicken, mashed potato, corn party size dinner for 20 co workers 3 hrs before my meeting and luncheon was supposed to start I get a call stating they could not fill my mashed potato and corn order. I got irritated with the lady that called said this was a joke you are a Grocery store and I placed this order 2 weeks ago and you need to complete this order. She told me I could go get the microwaveable corn and potato’s and fill my own order. Told her it wasn’t what I pd for and they should do it and to have my order ready when it was scheduled. She said I would have talk to my manager to see what we could do. Hour went by didn’t hear anything so I went up to store myself and asked for Manager. Lavon came up to me said he didn’t know anything about it and and went back to talk to lady in deli dept. (Norma) said everything is taken care of and will be able to pickup at normal time. Lavon handled it well and was happy he stepped in. Went back an hour and a half later to pickup food, while waiting in line older lady in front was asking for so salami and other meats and lady behind counter kept saying no we don’t have it everyone’s coming in hear last minute to get their meat you should have come in sooner we got nothing but ham. Upset the lady in front of me how rude she was. She called next in line and I said I was here to pickup my 12:00 ores and first thing out of her mouth was “Oh your the trouble maker” I was shocked that came out of her mouth and continued to be rude to me while getting my food together. Saying comments to her coworkers. As I received my last tray of food she said “ next time don’t be so rude and have to complain to our mgr.” I could not believe the mouth on this lady. It all started when she was telling me she had to cancel part of my food order 3 hrs before my luncheon and you are a grocery store that has all this available. This lady needs to have a customer service check and should not be working around the public. Your going to lose a lot of business and the fact she is working with food is scary to what she may be capable of doing.I have been it retail for 25 yrs and have got my share of complaints but this stands out to be one of my worst experiences I have had and don’t want to see your company or store take a hit due to one persons bad attitude.Thank you

I have had so many negative experiences at this Kroger. A vehicle hit my truck and left while I was in the store and the staff didn't even want to give me the video footage to file a claim with my insurance. Another time, I went in store to return an item I got from my pickup order and the item was smashed, the customer service line had about 12 people waiting in line and right next to the line near the cake freezers are two managers just talking away acting like this long line isn't there instead of helping their team. Most recently, I placed another pick up order and not only was I given old produce, but the woman doing the pickup orders told me I HAD to use the "I'm on my way" feature in the app next time because "not always is an employee standing at the door ready to bring your order out." Laugh out loud, please just do your job. This is the worst Kroger in all of southeast Michigan. I avoid this place at all costs. Also, kroger nor LPPD have access to them goofy cameras in the parking lot, so, if you get robbed, hit by another vehicle, or anything else, good luck getting that footage because no one knows who has access to them.

Kroger on Dix has improved its look. It’s more modern and roomy. They even have their own sushi stand now. If you ask Van, he’ll make the sushi roll to order. There is a convenient bank inside and a gas station next to the Dix Rd entrance. The only thing I don’t like about this location is the crowded parking lot. It’s a popular place. As a stand-alone store there isn’t much that can be done to improve the congestion except to go on off hours, I suppose.

Jan.8, 9am: Paul in bottle return was very helpful. For 3 months now Kroger brand Dr.K cans STILL not recognized in automatic bottle machine. Paul walked with me to service counter & tried to get attention of BOTH of his coworkers. Neither one had any customers. Both ‘ladies’ ignored Paul, then one was downright rude to him. After Paul’s 3rd attempt to get the attention of the lady buried in her computer, she rudely said, “Ok Paul I heard you, there’s nothing I can do.” The attitudes of both ladies were downright discourteous, demeaning & degrading.

Its a great Kroger, for a usual Kroger experience. You know, the basic grocery store around the area. Main issue I had, the prices weren't on several items I had looked for. Some products had substance on the outside packaging, though very rare. Still could be concern for those products, or damaged. Good prices as usual though, none of the merchandise looked spoiled.

Great product, with all do respect to all hard working employees, I have to admit the self service customer service representative, not very helpful . Specifically when it comes to making purchase of WIC products , my latest incident when I asked the self service representative to explain to me the massage on payment process , she tell me why you making a WIC perches if I don’t know how to use it, !!! And also she announced that she don’t know how this WIC process works. I respectfully respect everyone working in this location, I think training for the WIC program will be very helpful .Best regards.

Sold my wife blatantly expired food. Zero star, store needs corporate attention..I don't believe you should have to check your items for expiration dates when shopping for fresh food..it is 1/30/24 the hummus she purchased expired 12/23/23. Disgusted at this. Do something about this, it was eaten by her and she's now sick.

They close too early 😕 couldn't get my bonus points 5 minutes until 10pm and they were closed. Also the deli closes way too people are just getting off work at 7 pm and they are closed. I rushed the other day and they were closed at 6:45 p.m.

Went here tonight to pick up a couple snacks for movie night. Big mistake.100 people in the store and only 3 cashier's. 2 cashiers ringing people up and 4 U scan open. Terrible experience! Took over 30 minutes to get out. This store is not a pleasant place to shop. Very disappointed.same. Waiting on line to pay for things. Never understood the concept.

This place is a mess. The front doors were turned off when I arrived. No sign. You were just supposed to know to enter through the exit. While shopping, half of the items I was looking for were expired. When checking out, there was a single helpful woman acting as cashier while, I kid you not, 8 other employees were standing around no more than 6 feet away doing nothing and high fiving each other. The woman checking me out asked for help and was ignored. She also asked them to answer a ringing phone and they didn't do that either. When leaving, a lone employee had entirely blocked the entrance and most of the exit with 4 rows of carts. What if there's a fire? Definitely the worst Kroger I've ever seen in the Detroit metro area. Whoever acts as the manager of this location should be fired and replaced with someone competent.

Vendor that ran into the restroom to brush my teeth, afterwards I ran into the single stall to get a piece of tissue paper, I noticed old, smeared, blood and feces wiped on the walls. I politely spoke to an employee about the issue and was only met with the response of “oh, gross, I’ll try not to think about that.” & walks away. I hope someone will take care of it eventually.

*zero stars*I'm beyond disappointed with my experience. Placed a catering order for 100pc chicken to feed my family at our annual family reunion. We show up in store to pick it up & were told there is no record of our order being placed. We weren't offered any help or replacement options.We won't be returning to this location for any future purchases.
