So much nicer since the renovation. Staff and cashier's are always on point and friendly. My only complaint is the poles on the buggies that prevent them from leaving the store. If you have a lot of bags or bulky items like paper towel or toilet paper its a bit inconvenient.

*Update. 6/1/2023**Just found something peculiar going on with digital coupons here. Recently clipped a coupon & "My Store" is set to this Dix Rd. Lincoln Park location. A "buy2 get1 free" cereal coupon. I pick the three Cereals but notice the lowest shelf price is $3.80 for the Brand specified yet the coupon reads, "Up To" $3.75 Value" It did not cover the Cereals😔 I purchased them anyway (wat they count on) & One box is dated September 2023 Yet IT'S STALE & TASTES OLD! I taped it up & Will return it. Gross1 why was the coupon attached to this stores app if Not Applicable? .05cents away from the coupons value??? **Sketch!**😠 There's been times I wonder why my coupon wouldn't work.. read the fine print! Might dump this app & Stop Shopping FD & DT Stores. Since Corporate likes Shade :/2 These food Companies are Getting on my bad side & If not for others in my house, I'd eat oats or granola every day. I barely eat cereal, just too hot to eat heavy foods. I took 2stars away for this issue. I'm NOT HAPPY!I'm here wkly sometimes twice! It is always clean & tidy. The isles are easy to navigate, as their departments are clearly marked, product is where it's supposed to be & the floors are clear of stock or debis. I seldom see crammed, over stocked shelves or racks unlike other family dollar stores nearby. They recently extended their cooler space & have great choices of lunch/supper items. Some $1.25 frozen items like breakfast sandwiches, pizza, meat pies, burritos ECT. I now buy such items here instead of the big grocer nearby. It just makes sense. The Staff here Always happily greet me upon entering, they are always helpful, they know where the products are & are swift at checkout.The Pride in their work surely Shows here. I haven't done a review in quite some time but my visit here today compelled me to share my appreciation for my neighborhood family dollar.Thankselle

Great staff. Store is so much cleaner then previous manager's. The store manager now as well as the staff now makes sure the store is clean and organized The store manager and staff are always very friendly and helpful. Will not go to another family dollar. This is my absolute favorite family dollar.

My daughter and I were there at this location today 4/16/2022 and to our surprise they refused to let us use the public restroom needless to say I was shocked leaving shaking my head.

Family dollar in taylor is very claen I would go dack are very helpful nice and very considerate of their customers so if you want to clean store call to Family Dollar in Lincoln Park off of Dix and Champaign!!😻😸😽

They were in the middle of moving to a new store so the shelves were pretty bare. New store won't be open for 2 weeks. Down the shopping center from the old one.

The employees refused to honor my returnable bottles. They charge you the deposit but won't return it to you. This is stupid. Theyve lost my business.

A store with the word dollar in their name should be required to have a good selection of items for a buck. Family Dollar and Dollar General are fake dollar stores and they are generally overpriced.
