Only one person ever at the register. What a joke! Update: still only one person while the other workers slack off when there’s over 10 people in line! Thee worst place to shop! N they will hire anyone. Lady barely knows how to work the register! Then will check ur money with the pen on both sides! Dollars bills n all smh

The store has been revamped and is very organized. The staff is great and the store is very clean and definitely looks better than it did in the past.

This place is trash everytime you go in place they quick to tell you card only no cash.while forcing cash paying customer to leave store shopping in the store for your favorite items is a joke because nothing is on the shelf just boxes of things that need to be put on shelf's sitting on floor or in the back for days clearly this place needs to do better

3 because the check out staff was very patient with the long line and rude customers that were there. However the store is filthy! Also, the woman manager stays in her office instead of managing her store. I know this as all the employees complain about it and I asked for her once and she wouldn't come out of her office. Unfortunately all the Family Dollars in this area are filthy so I have just been buying items I usually go there for from a different store now. Sad as I love Family Dollar but in this day with covid, I can't shop in dirty stores. The same trash was on the ground a week later, last time shopping there. If they aren't even sweeping the floors, you know that they are not doing anything to protect you from the virus.

The cashier working the register closest to the windows at the Family Dollar store at Outer Drive and Dix Rd. the evening of Nov 22 was very nice and helpful. The store was clean and well organized.Such a pleasant change from the Family Dollar stores in Ecorse. Especially the one on W Jefferson. That one is horrible. Dirty, unorganized, you can barely get down the aisles.I WILL DEFINITELY be GOING BACK to the one at Outer Drive and Dix Rd.

They threw me and my dog (enclosed stroller) out... With an extremely loud voice that ensured the entire store heard her. Accused me of pretending I had a baby. Which of course I did not do. No one else has a problem.. Others are protected from my 5lb dog with the enclosure on stroller. Which by law I make sure to comply with.

They make up there policy as they see fit. You spend 10.00 on a set of ear buds and they won't even exchange them I don't want my money back I just wanted to exchange it and they won't even do that. If they had zero 🌟 I would have put that. Thats just wrong.

Best family dollar I've ever been in!! They are very clean and professional. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. Everything I needed was easy to find. And checkout was a breeze. Keep up the good work guys

Took my mom to get a few items and the employee was out of control confronting a customer for taking an empty shopping cart that she had near her to use as she was working. I've worked retail for 3 decades and to do something like this and to say out loud " I hate f**ing ignorant customers" tells me she doesn't need to be at that or any store.

Nasty,shelves empty,items where they dont belong,stock in isles noone restocking.manager was off but showed up while i was asking about appearance. He knew i was talking about store(was talking loud & he was by me standing,He NEVER SAID ANYTHING..

Easy store to pick up a couple items and there were 2 cashiers working. That doesn't usually happen at Family Dollar so this location must be busier. Easy parking.

A very angry vist. I have shopped here meny times senice open. I spent an hour and half shopping used all my coupons at check out. Used a check to pay $139dollars not uncommon. The guy was in such a hurry he couldn't get it to take me check. After paid by check meny times. So i wrote out another check. He shoved in machine so roughly it got jammed in machine he then pulled it out all bent and wrenkled tryed forching again. Iy was declined i offered he refused me to write another. So after using all my coupons a hour and half shopping I came out with nothing. Because everything was bagged and I was not digging thru them to salvage a few items. So i walked out with no food and lost my coupons..never again!!I spend well over $100 a week there..they lost my business over a cocky ass in hurry to leave and not do job RIGHT...shop at own risk!!!

Depending on the person you get. They'll help out and give a great performance. But they do have a couple cashiers who are just plan out rude.

A little cramped and if they had more of a selection of earbuds that are worth something.......but employees are polite and helpful. The store is clean & orgainzed, but like I said, jus a little cramped.

My experience at Family Dollar was very easy and easy to get to the things that I needed to get with a short time I was there and I recommend those who are in a hurry to get the items you want go to Family Dollar you won't go wrong

Family Dollar River Rouge off of West Jefferson and Schaefer was excellent a very helpful especially Dre and Brandy and all the rest of the people that work there as well are very helpful......
