I had Ryan as my server tonight. It was my third time at The Cadillac House. The drink he recommended was absolutely fantastic! It was a refreshing blend of flavors that perfectly complemented my meal. And speaking of the meal, it was simply outstanding! The flavors were on point, the presentation was beautiful, and the portion size was just right. But what made the experience truly special was Ryan's exceptional service. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to go back and enjoy another fantastic meal with Ryan as my server. Cheers to him! 🍹🍽️

Stayed here on a work trip where sleep was going to be essential. The rooms are decent and I really dug the historic old school vibe and esthetics. However, the walls are paper thin and in between the snoring neighbors, the very loud/inconsiderate wedding party on the other side of my room...there were the trucks. Being right on the corner of two main roads wasn't bad enough, you get to be woken up four times a night from the semi's engine braking or their air brakes. On a different note, the tavern's food was great. The spinach and artichoke dip, brisket sandwich and the Alaskan cod dinner were all killer. Actually GETTING the food was another thing altogether. Only 1 out of our 5 dinners at the tavern was pleasant. Taking fifteen minutes to even be approached for a drink and the menu was off-putting. (Was even sitting at the bar) Once it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. They weren't even very busy. But we did notice they had only ever had 1 staff member to bartend, front desk receptionist and act as wait staff. So maybe they had to cook as well?

Rooms are beautifully appointed and the food is delicious. The staff is professional and very kind. Just across from Lake Huron’s breathtaking view. I was there for a leadership conference but would certainly come again for a personal get away.Rooms: Beautiful, comfy, clean, nicely appointed, complete with bathrobe and shower gels.Walkability: So many boutiques and charming spots to shop within walking distance. There’s even a corner grocery store right across the street.Food & drinks: Encrusted fish was delightful. Burger scrumptious. Creme brûlée was a treat.

We used to live in croswell and stopped to visit an old friend. When we had our home built in 1995 we had taken the workers to cadillac house restaurant. Food was awesome then. The renovated cadillac house restaurant was beautiful and the service was friendly and fast. Our friend ordered the fish and chips and looked great. Problem...we ordered the corn beef and cabbage which was the special for the weekend. The corned beef was dry, 4 small boiled potatoes, carrots that were not cooked enough, and overcooked cabbage. Now we did order bread pudding that was to die for. So my thoughts..don't order off the special for the day menu. I will try this place again to give it another chance. Aviance good and friendly service.

Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Walls are thin, heard a couple arguing at 1am, sounded like they were in our room. Food is awful. Ordered the filet, medium, and it was raw; ordered a burger and it was burnt. The other filet was dry, fries were average. Waitstaff is slow and not personable at all. Sat with empty water glasses, empty glasses of pop. Looked around and the restaurant was not busy, not sure why food and drinks took so long to get.

We got takeout for dinner from here while on vacation. I was a little apprehensive, but my husband ordered steak and I got salmon. It was the best salmon I've ever had from a restaurant! Creamy, cooked to perfection, seasoned just right. His steak was tender. The only complaint was that the asparagus was supposed to be bacon wrapped and it wasn't. Still, even the rice was superb. Great food.

Had reservations on New Year’s Eve and we were told that the bar was to remain open until 10 and after our dinner that was ok. We went to the bar all 8 of us who just spent like 500$ in the dinning room we were told they were closing and when i said they told me when we made reservations that they would be open until 10 the said that we could go to there other bar and pay a 20$ per person cover to be there for an hour before we had to be at another party. They told us they would keep the bar open until 10 and we could get a drink, we all were there for 15 mins without anyone asking what we would like. I approached the bar several times and they ignored me like I wasn’t there! So the bar personnel suck! The dinning room was ok.

Perfect downtown launch point for seeing Lexington. The tavern cocktails were outstanding (cranberry orange whiskey sour, yum), the spinach artichoke dip piping hot, fresh, and tasty, and the clam chowder flavorful and just the right consistency.Rooms: Our room on the third floor was excellent, the perfect place to crash after visiting Lexington. Everything was in excellent repair, clean, and bright. Odd detail, but the washcloths were extra exfoliating in the best way.Nearby activities: Everything in downtown Lexington is within walking distance, including the beach and harbor.Safety: Everything was clearly marked, front and back stairs, fire alarms all blinked their little green indicators. No concerns at all.Walkability: The Cadillac is on THE downtown corner. Everything except the Water Tower Pub is within walking distance. Seriously, a few hundred yards at most.Food & drinks: The Tavern custom cocktails are definitely worth trying. Whether you start or finish your pub crawl here, the Cadillac belongs on your list. Spin dip was outstanding.Noteworthy details: This is a hotel with some history! Be sure to check out the old hotel guest registry under glass in the front office, as well as the various details around the hotel. I particularly liked the Civil War-era wooden floors polished to a shine.

Great atmosphere and clean! Prices were reasonable for very fresh food. We really enjoyed dinner. The menu has something for everybody.We were visiting from out of town and are so glad we stopped here.

This place used to have great food and service. However, it has gone downhill quickly. Ordered 22$ perch dinner that had multiple bones in each piece of fish. This was also true for my wife who also had the perch. This place has either quality control issues or a head Chef that doesn't care. Also, their menu is very small.Avoid at all cost.

We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. We sat in the tavern area which was busy but the bartender was still able to provide us with excellent service despite how many customers he was responsible for. The service was really great. The food on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. We all ordered off the seasonal menu. The roasted vegetable pasta lacked flavor and the vegetables were pretty uncooked. The orange chicken bowls also lacked flavor and the rice was over cooked and soggy. The kids chicken bites and fries were well received and the best food at the table. For the price we were bummed and left hungry.

This was our first time staying at the Cadillac House and our experience has been nothing short of amazing! Not only is the entire staff caring for their guests, but they are very accommodating and when we decided to stay an extra night (but our room was not available) they were able to get us into another room right away so that we did not have to wait for the 3pm check in (they even offered to move our bags for us if we were out and about). We want to send an extra shout out to Amy and Camry at the tavern. Our first day we went down for a couple drinks and had great conversations and they took great care of us. We came back for dinner where once again they both took good care of not only us, but for some stranded boaters due to a storm and they made us and everyone feel welcome and at home. They are both incredibly personable and did an amazing job! We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and making our special vacation even more special! Thank you Amy, Camry, and the entire staff! We will definitely be back after the enjoyable experience we’ve had here!Matt and Beth

We came for the first time tonight for dinner. Ryan, our server, was amazing. Friendly, efficient, and very polite. One of the best servers we have had in a long time.The food matched! Everything was perfect - tender steak, amazing risotto, great fish and chips and a delicious burger. First off we stayed 4 years ago for my husband's birthday and it was fabulous! Highly recommend the rooms. Food is not very good! We were there last night for dinner and perch had no flavor, even Ceasar salad was dull. We tried food last year too and we weren't satisfied. The drinks are great! Love the atmosphere. Service was good too! Please work on the food! We spent $86.00last night and it was just mediocre 😪

Had dinner prior to attending a Beatles concert at the Lexington Theater. The waite staff were completely over whelmed by the number of customer. Are second round of drinks took over half a hour. Manager in charge was no where to be found?Will not return, poorly managed.

Dog friendly fun! They're not allowed in the dining area but the rooms are so beautiful and spacious. The dining room is amazing, the service was superb, the food was delicious, I loved the cute dishes they served the food on! I just love all the details of this place. It is just gorgeous. I wish I had taken more photos for this review. I booked this place on a whim because the place we were originally staying at messes up our reservation so we drove over an hour here because it was dog friendly and I really did not expect much but this was beyond expectations. There's not much in the area though but we only stayed a night. Last minute travel plans led me to this perfect remodeled inn! The front desk staff was very helpful with the last minute reservation. The room was very clean. They had cozy robes, too! I had complete control over the heating and cooling in the room. And I love the fact that they are eco-friendly when it comes to their toiletry supplies in the bathroom. Even though I was in town for a sad occasion, you guys made my stay comfortable and easy. Thank you!

Stopped by for dinner. They were out of cod and soup. Ordered a burger and walleye. We forgot to ask for tartar sauce for the fish. However, with the dinner rush it took almost 20 mins with us standing at the bar to receive said tartar sauce. Burger was overcooked,closer to well/medium well than the medium rare ordered. i made my piece with that until i bit into a pickle. On the menu pickle isn't even listed on the Mandriano Cheese Burger. I'm allergic to pickle. Waitress never even asked how the food was. Hopefully, I get the bill soon so i can leave this place and never return.

The building has been remodeled nicely - I was there before it closed - under the old owners. There is an ambiance about the place that is pleasant. The menu is small and the portions are too. The perch is good but again the portions are too small and service is on the slow side. They could do some improving

If I could give it a 0 I would. Poor service. The first sign I should've saw was that there was no one in the restaurant. Food was average. My friend needed GF (gluten free food) and requested it. When she got her food she checked with the waitress to make sure. The waitress came out seconds later and said it was. My friend is now incredibly sick. Food was not seasoned well. McDonalds was a better option. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
