Probably the worst run Dollar General store I've ever been in. There's never any stock on the shelves and it's a complete mess with carts of inventory scattered about the aisles for weeks. If you are physically handicapped there's no way to maneuver the store. They should just close it down and start over with something entirely new.

An employee named Amber, was very helpful in assisting me find a particular item, once she realized I was wondering thru store looking for what I needed, she immediately came to assist me.Great Job !Was nice to experience great customer service, after so many other retailers have dropped the ball in assisting their customers.

Came here for a few toys for the kids. They did not disappoint and had a great selection from infant to toddler. Wish I had gotten there earlier to find bubbles, but was able to find a couple. Friendly staff

The DG in Lewiston, MI is horrible! I will no longer shop there. I ran in there today, 6/14/20, and the two workers were not friendly and Rude! They recently remodeled the store and it's in disarray. There were many shelves that were empty. And when you walked to the very back of the store, the last isle, you could barely walk through with a shoppingcart. From one end to the other end, the isle was filled with their carts of merchandise filled to the top!!! I was under the impression that no one wanted to put the merchandise away. AGAIN, I will no longer shop at that store!

This is a good store if you just need 1 or 2 things. They usually are very busy and have long lines. The place isn't kept up nicely either. Also some of the employees aren't the nicest people. The prices are hard to beat though.

Great store and great staff! Rachel and Kim went above and beyond for me and I totally appreciate them! I always find cool stuff and the prices are wonderful! Always stop here first before any other store!

Cashier was friendly enough, but ALONE on a Saturday afternoon. And when her computer shut down during the sale of the person ahead of me, she sighed "oh no not again!" Apparently, it completely reboots with every other credit card swipe!!! Invest in a new system ASAP! It should NOT take nearly an hour to buy juice and popcicles from a dollar store!!!

I have shopped at this store for years and often wondered about why its always so cluttered and dirty but it never bothered me enough to say anything. I have also wondered how anyone who is handicapped could shop there but again I'm not handicapped so I've never asked. Well, a few days ago my sister, nephew and I were in there shopping away, with a full cart of stuff and we had a question about the Christmas stuff that was on clearance. My sister goes in search of an employee and asks her question. The employee felt that she needed to come and show my sister what she was talking about so here they both come. As I am standing there this employee, who by then informed me she was the MANAGER starts telling me that some of the items in my cart were not on sale. I said to her what stuff? She tells me the little Christmas trees that are with ALL of the clearance Christmas stuff. I say to her, your sign says ALL Christmas items on clearance for 25 cents or less EXCLUDING THE PLASTIC BINS. She says she doesn't know what to tell me they are not on sale. I ask her why they are out there with all of the other clearance items if they are not on clearance? Her answer was that she rang them up the other day and they rang up full price. I then asked her why she didn't put them away then.. This women went off on me!! She informed me she can't control what everyone does and where her employee's put stuff when she is not there. I said ok I understand but you just told me that YOU rang them up.. NOT an employee, so again if they are not on sale why didn't you just take them in the back room?? I really wasn't trying to give this women a hard time, she just wasn't making any sense. These were 3 little trees in this tiny left over Christmas section. Why would you have them there if they were not clearanced out with the rest of the Christmas stuff? She again said she didn't know what to tell me and excuse her for not knowing where everything is and excuse her for taking lunch. By this time I was just like WHAT?? She just kept repeating over and over there not on sale, there not on sale. So by this time I'm pretty much done and we go to leave and guess what?? I darn near trip over random stuff just laying in the isle. So I guess now I know why this store is in the condition that is. The management.

Some of cashiers are great. The problem I have is going in there on a Saturday to one cashier that handled it great. But as a busy time of the day they need to have more than one person at the store when it's a busy time.

Staff are very unprofessional and smell like weed and the store is almost always a disaster. No carts that are not damaged either.Honestly one of the worst DGs I've ever stopped at.Only go here for quick buys.

An associate named Barbara rudely commented on the fair-ness of my skin as soon as I walked in the store today. Always had a good experience before today’s visit. Very disappointing.

Convenience, convenience, convenience, not to mention friend helpful staff! Clean store, and they use digital coupons! So much easier than paper coupons! Love the people and their store!

Was cleaned up now the aisles are crowded and disgusting. To much on inventory and NOT enough room! Sometimes you have to find someone so you can check out.

Too much stock in the aisle cluttered the store is sorted dark and nothing is marked on the package or what the cost is very confusing don't know what you're getting thank you very much

I’m impressed with the staff at this Dollar General in Lewiston, always polite fast they greet you with a hello when you walk in the door every time . The store has a large variety great prices 5 ⭐️

Worse unorganized store in Lewiston ... awful service...Was in again today ..don't ask me why?All I can say is check your receipt before you leave I get over charged everytime I go there. Frustrating!!!!
