Great selection of meat and cheeses however, the produce was quite picked over by the time we got three and the sweet corn seemed old. It was our timing, I’m sure. I was planning on buying produce so I was a bit disappointed.

Ryan has really turned this place into something awesome, meat is always fresh and great. All his employees are extremely friendly and also greet you when you come in. Wouldn’t ever go to another place.

My daughter told me to try the steaks here. Since I found out big grocery stores use carbon monoxide to keep the meat plump and red I started looking for alternatives. So anyway I bought 2 NY strips and 3 pds of ground round the steaks were horrible I grilled them I tasted it rare tough medium rare and medium I couldn’t chew it. I made hamburgers out of some of the GR and the grease and suet just kept pouring out like ground Chuck I wouldn’t have cared but it tasted like something other than cow. The employees look miserable too. Time to move on.

Stopped by for some gizzards for dirty rice this weekend. Lotsa goodies. Ended up with bacon, stew beef, gizzards, bacon 🥓 burger 🍔, sammich spread, and a Mac & Cheese lunch with a pop! Itchin to go back for the meat sticks on the counter and.some of the jerky.

A new 5 star post, updated since it's been 3 years.Items I've purchased and loved.The 4.99 pre-made subs, packed with cold cuts, delicious and on a good roll.Chicken tenderloins, I marinate and grill them, fantastic.Ribeyes, pan seared, or smoked and grilled. Always tender and delicious with good marbling.Frozen muscles, they come in a butter garlic sauce and are awesome.50-100 lbs of pork breakfast sausage per month for the Church's pancake breakfast. Everyone raves about the breakfast sausage.Country ribs, 5 hours cooked slow then grilled, absolutely amazing.Got some frozen ground Buffalo and was very happy. When I made sunrise burgers this morningI'm also very excited they are going to continue making Shifty's!Owners are also great people!

Drove 40+ miles because we heard good things about this place. Well bought Boneless Chicken Breast 17 lbs worth & we opened a zip lock bag up & it reeked to high heaven. I spoke to a woman there that would exchange it with no problem but again it's 40+ miles so to return $10 in chicken it's more than $10 bucks in gas so out it goes & we just save us some time. So the staff is nice but the chicken we bought was not so therefore the 3 star review

Excellent quality meats and deli items. Their bacon burger is phenomenal and will wow your guests at your next BBQ. They also have several varieties of pasta salad to try. Plus they carry locally made products like spice mixes and bakery items. Be sure to order a meat bundle; they always throw in something free such as their bacon or chicken breasts.

Wonderful LOCAL market. The owners are local and heavily involved in the community- they have great lunch and dinner specials and are consistently posting on the business FB daily specials and activities. Frequently there is popup markets on the weekends including local produce/food vendors. Highly reccomend this market

Between me and my husband we go to the store 2 to 3 times a week always has a good selection their meats are very good and now you can even buy fresh vegetables so glad it's so close to my home

Very unsanitary handling of fresh meats, poor quality deer processing. Dirty packaging came with our processed venison summer sausage. I took pictures when I saw the butcher pushing the bloody meat cart through the parking lot to the store. That is not how raw meats should be handled, period. Buyer beware with this butcher store.

Small old place but lunch specials are great and a great deal. Bought a whole rack of rib eye the sliced it on the spot for about 120$ 9.99$ a lb. Cant beat that anywhere
