Can get a decent selection of products after employees stock the isles. Recommend stocking the shelves with far more product as a dedicated team effort. Can get pet supplies but often out of stock on many items. Can be more competitive on prices if stock balance on hand were maintained in a better fashion. It's a local business in the City of Lapeer as pet supply stores seem limited. Don't have turtle products very often. Rawhide section and dental treats need to include store brands too.I shop here as their filter supplies are reasonable. Pets for sale are healthy it seems.Definitely would benefit carrying more exotic pets. Would be better if there were more signage like a grocery store.Employees are willing and able to help answer questions about no matter what pet they currently carry.

Alicia has groomed my dog a few times now, she is very knowledgeable, and patient with my dog, he's afraid and she does well with him. She gives good advice for calming him before his appointment. She's great and we'll continue to see her in the future..

They do not care properly for the animals they sell. The chameleons look awful, the Betta I spontaneously bought because he was on the verge of death had nitrite levels that were through the roof. When brought to the attention of the cashier she was dismissive and said they were simply "too busy". However I've been in other Pet Supplies in the area who seem to find the time. If this business is too busy to properly care for the animals that they profit off of, stop selling them! Or lighten the load of how many animals you carry because the conditions I witnessed are unacceptable, period!

The chameleons are in such terrible condition, so thin and not nearly enough humidity in their enclosures. The bettas and aquariums are also in terrible condition they are literally right in front of the cashier and half dead. This is unacceptable, these chain pet stores could care less about living creatures and only about how they profit from them, just sickening. DO BETTER!

I have a specific need for Hills Science Diet for my shi tzu because of skin allergies and the lapeer PSP have the more affordable selection as opposed to Oxford PSP.

Love this place, my doggies birthday is coming up so I new where to go to get her puppy ice cream and a puppy cake they also have a nice selection of homemade puppy treats 🎂💗we also grabbed our Minnie some feeders.. thank you we will be back staff is friendly and store was clean !!

Pets Supply Plus was clean and the staff was friendly. However, I was unable to find all the selection of specialty food that I can get at PetSmart location in Grand Blanc. The prices were reasonable, but high for specialty canned dog food as it was nearly $9 for two cans. It was confusing to know where to find the queue to check out. I know it was up front, but I had no idea what line to stand in to get cashed out. The cashier was friendly. I only gave three stars because of the selection of canned dog food.

nice clean store but the ferret cage was disgusting 3 corners of the enclosure was piled with feces jmo this should of been cleaned before store opened i directed to this to an employee and it was just blown off.

Nice clean well stocked location. Amazingly sweet and helpful knowledgeable staff!Definitely shopped on the perfect day! Purchased lots of terrific stuff for Vinnie my Bernese Mountain dog and Gianni my Siamese.Will be back soon!

Discounts are only for members and I found out after looking around for a half an hour. I did not want to give over my phone number and time for signing up to get a $1.50 discount. All these stores are getting ridiculous with these "deals" that make you jump through hoops, buy 10 of something, or give up your personal information. I walked out of the store empty handed and went to another store and got the same thing for a quarter of the price.

Great supply of a variety of supplies, food, and so on. Variety of animals in well furnished enclosures. Beginner and hobbiest level fish, including harder to find fish. Live plants are hard to find, and this location offers them. However the fish department is smaller than I would have liked. Store could/should have been cleaner, could also use brighter/whiter lights to appear cleaner. Overall a great store, would like to see some improvements before I give 5 stars.

This place is pretty much the only pet store in lapeer. The service is pretty decent and they have just about everything you could possibly need for any pet you may have. I wanted to find something to bribe my new pet bird with, something to get him to like me. One of the stockers was filling bird food canisters and I asked him if he knew what to get for a bird as I've never owned one till now. He was extremely helpful and had a great attitude through the entire conversation. Good job!

This is one of the Best Stores you can go to !!! Came into town from Tennessee to see family.. stopped to get a special healthy treat for my brothers kitty that is getting older and getting picky. She got me right to healthy treats and Gabe kitty 😺 😍 💕 is so happy.. he loves them... thank you 😊 💓 ☺ your the Best

The store wasn't busy for a Friday evening. Very clean. But staff was a bit.........airhead like. didn't seem knowledgeable of product locations or availability. I found what I was looking for eventually. Some of it, anyway. Better some than none. At least it wasn't a complete wash since I drove 30 miles for one product.

Pet supplies plus in Lapeer is awesome, not are there rewards points to redeem for coupons, a great selection of live insects, a great selection of cat food, everyone who works there is helpful, knowledge, and friendly. I am able to do in-store purchase's and assistance with heavy items to my car. Love it, thank you.

We have an older cat with medical issues and he is only allowed certain brands of food. Pet Supplies Plus Lapeer is the only place nearby that carries them. I'm thankful for enough supply of the food at this store. And the staff is polite, helpful and pleasant. I am a steady customer now.
