My Westie was covered in burrs and stickers and I couldn't stay ahead of them! When I found Holly I was happy with the reviews and decided to give her a shot. She explained her process and took the time to chat when we arrived. My persnickity pup took to her right off and though I know she may have wanted to leave more hair, Holly honored my request to take her down short! My girl came prancing out the door and Holly told me she was quiet throughout the process so I know how gentle and kind she had to be for that to happen! Was I satisfied? Beyond!! We will be back! Thanks Holly, you're a treasure!

Had a great experience at Holly's Barks and Bubbles today. Our girl is a rescue dog and has some fear with strangers. She was treated gently with her nail trimming and looks beautiful after her bath and grooming. She was content when I left and happy when I picked her up. We will definitely bring her back again. The facility is close by, and very clean. Would recommend!!

Holly has been our groomer for years and she never disappoints! Our pup always looks adorable and smells delicious! She knows exactly what we like and starting out was very willing to adjust to our preferences. She is kind, caring and patient and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for our boy!

This is the place you want to take your dog! My pound puppy has had anxiety issues since we picked him up and requires a very patient groomer. He has been kicked out of another local groomer's shop, but Holly has cut his hair, toenails, and bathed him several times now. He looks great and she is very patient while working with him. Prices are very competitive - grooming and bathing stations are in full view. Holly will give you a tour of the facility if this is your first arrival. Customers can bring their dogs in and bathe them independently if desired. She also carries a line of Solid Gold dog food and other canine accessories. Because Holly is able to handle our "special needs" dog, we are very happy customers!

I have 2 big dogs that love to find their own perfume. They needed a bath ASAP and Holly came through with flying colors. She squeezed us in and made them smell awesome. And their nails were awesome. She's great at what she does, has an awesome personality, and we'll never go anywhere else.

Holly is amazing!!! She truly made my dog feel so comfortable!!! He is an almost 1 year old rescue so he is scared of new things but holly made him feel like he was at a home away from home! She takes her time and is very patient!!!! She uses all organic soaps and essential oils! My puppy looks and smells amazing!!! Highly recommend!! I'm a new client for life!! I have been bringing my Pomeranian, Marina, to Holly for grooming for the past 3 years and I have never been disapointed. Holly takes her time and does such a good job. She is definitely an animal lover and has such patience with the animals. She is always able to fit Marina in whenever I call, even if it's last minute. Grooming facilities come and go in this town, and I am convinced it is because Holly has the market cornered! Keep up the great work, Holly! YOU ARE AWESOME!!

I really appreciate Holly from Holly’s Barks and Bubbles. It is so refreshing to walk into a dog grooming salon that is impeccable with a genuine (kind -hearted) owner. My toy poodle “Puppers” is so very frightened at grooming appointments that I drive from Kalamazoo Mi to have all her grooming done. I know who is handling her each time- I can leave her there knowing she is in a safe environment and her cuts and trimming will be exactly what I want. My dog is my baby and I will always choose the best care I can for her. Thanks Holly for all you do for us‼️

Today I took my 2 dogs in for a nail trim, for one of them it was his first: he did great. My second dog (pug) has a history of being difficult (that’s putting it mildly). Holly was so amazing with him. As expected he screamed as if he was being murdered. This is normal for him. Holly handled him with patience and was so gentle. Most importantly the time she took afterwards to calm him down was so impressive - I will definitely be back and would highly recommend her to everyone.

Today was our 2 small dogs first appointment with Holly. She gave us a tour of her salon and asked what we would like done on the pups. She repeated our request and followed through to a tee. We are very pleased with her care of our dogs. We will definitely refer all of our family and friends her way.

Our John was a rescue from a local shelter.He was in very bad shape when we adopted him. You never know their past when you adopt older dogs. John would not allow anyone to trim his nails. We tried everything other than full in office sedation.When we dropped John off with Holly he was very nervous, when we picked him up John was sleeping. He was so relaxed! Holly took her time with John getting to know him and his needs as John deals with hip and knee Arthritis. Holly Deshedded, Shampoo and Conditioned him and got his poor nails undercontrol. Holly showed John that she loved him as much as we do and that makes my heart so very grateful. Thank you for loving our John and all the other doggies and offering your talent.

Holly is a fabulous groomer, Blake and Andria Conner are stating things that I have NEVER experienced with Holly. She has a clearly stated potty area for the dogs and a very clean facility for the grooming to take place. I've never had an issue with my dogs coming here and will continue to bring them despite anyone wrongfully slandering Holly's business.

We live east of Lapeer and used to drive to Lansing to get our dog groomed. We were excited to find Holly's Barks & Bubbles LLC as a closer option for our Welsh Corgi. The staff is extremely nice and take great care of our pet. In addition, the atmosphere is very welcoming. Last but not least, our dog looks great. The groomer took the time to listen to how we like to have him groomed. We look forward to having our dog getting groomed again (has been twice).

Holly is wonderful! I was worried I wouldn't find another groomer for Chuy after the one he had been going to retired, but from the first time I called, I knew this was going to be the place! She's great with animals, her shop is clean and smells good, she's very attentive to the owners wants of the animals she groom's, she's friendly and Chuy loves her. I'm so glad we found her!

Mr Oliver WonderMutt still liked Holly when it was time to leave. If your dog likes someone after a grooming that's a good thing! Holly asked what I did it didn't like and how I would like him cut. She did a wonderful job! You can tell when someone really is a dog person. The love shows in their work.

New to the area and tried a few other local groomers. Holly's has given the best results!!! Not only did she manage to get my dog in for a visit the day after I called but she also graciously suggested keeping the dog a tad longer because my toddler chose to be sleeping when I got the call saying the dog was ready for pick up, How thoughtful!.My dog came out looking FANTASTIC and she smelt great for days even weeks later!

Holly did an absolutely amazing job on my golden retriever and my german shepherd. They both came out smelling great, trimmed nails and their coats actually shined in the sun! Highly recommended! I will be taking Abby and Shadow back for sure!!

Holly is always very attentive to her clients and their "parents". After a grooming Gepetto, our Bichon Frise, she pointed out that there appeared to be some lumps on the his back and to check them out. They ended up being tumors, but the vet got everything out and Gepetto is fine, because they were caught early. Thank you Holly for bringing this to our attention. You did much more than provide a great grooming!

I have had my aussies groomed at another facility and also work with Aussie rescue so wanted to find a groomer who would really take her time and do a great job. I have definitely found a place that will do that and more. My two aussies that I took in today came out looking just fabulous and trimmed exactly like I had told Holly that I wanted them done. My one aussie has sensitive skin so she made sure to use a product that wouldn't make her constantly scratch after grooming. I will definitely be going back to Holly with my other 2 aussies and more than likely some of the rescues that we take in. Thanks, Holly, for doing a great job at a reasonable price!

I've been in the Lapeer area for over a year and what a relief to have FINALLY found our groomer. When we arrived Kiki, my Yorkie, was a mess & somewhat unsure of what was going on. It was really great too see Holly let our Yorkie adjust & smell her surroundings. Kiki was held for a bit (by Holly) which immediately eased my anxieties about leaving her. Holly was very thorough in asking questions about hair cut and style," how much off here and how much off there". I feel confident that I could drop Kiki off for her second visit and I could just tell Holly "We'll have the regular" and she would know exactly what to do. Kiki was cut, shampooed (smelled great) , nails were trimmed, glands done, and Holly even put a cute little bandanna on her! The grooming was a quick 2 1/2 hours, we received a friendly courtesy call "kiki is ready! No need to rush here!". I couldn't stop smiling when I picked her up! After a year or more of bad haircuts, what a transformation! I was ecstatic, kiki felt & looked wonderful, and Holly was happy that we were happy. I will highly recommend Hollys Barks and Bubbles to anyone looking for a trustworthy personable groomer.

We took our pomeranian to see holly, and She did a decent job but did not do what we asked. My dog needed only a trim and we were very specific but my dog came back looking like a chihuahua. Almost shaved her entire body. So, although she looks ok, not at all what we asked for. I'll never go back and wouldnt recommend

Took two dogs into be groomed, only one was able to be done because the other is a puppy and was unable to be kept still. I offered to come stay with the puppy as he is very well behaved with some who is able to provide Alpha characteristics in his presence, was denied service to even attempt. $60 for one short haired dog, no discount no attempt to make any other options for our second dog. Will not return.

We love, love, love this place! I have been here twice, and we will keep coming back. The owner is friendly, and she took her time with my dog and with me. You will not be disappointed. She is honest and reasonable. She even gave me this expensive serum to try on my dogs feet at no charge. She said to call her in a week to let her know how it's working. I'm telling you, she genuinely cares about your pet.

This woman, Holly, told me how she went to a concert and FAKED BEING HANDICAPPED so she could get a better seat!!! She thought it was the funniest thing ever! She was laughing the whole time telling us this story.As the mother of a child who was handed a wheelchair during her son's cancer ordeal, I did not see her humor. 🤬Her Character as a Human is EXTREMELY FLAWED!NO WAY WOULD SHE EVER DO MY DOGS AGAIN!!

This woman should never be allowed around animals, she is abusive to them. He idea of discipline is to beat them and shake their cages. If you love your animal STAY AWAY!!! Her address has changed, from the one listed so beware if she says she is different. She operates out of her home and doesn’t even have a place for th dogs to go to the bathroom.
