This Rite Aid and the pharmacy employees are more like family. They are so nice and helpful and are fully staffed now, unlike last year, so you get your scripts very quickly and the techs and pharmacist are also able to give you advice, even if it’s personal. They are all great people and are wonderful.

What a pleasure I've had to see two familiar faces that always make me happy when I look upon them my pharmacist and her tech are two of the best individuals that could ever be in public service. Always so kind and funny and serious and very professional at the same time I have much gratitude for this great pharmacy team that's been assembled at this rite aid location thank you nor and thank you to one of the best pharmacists that i have ever come across she knows who she is you're the best. I look forward to staying healthy and strong so that you don't have to see me at my worst thank you so much for your professional courtesy and caring.

Yesterday I requested syringes for the injectable Vitamin B12 the pharmacy filled the day before. The man began getting argumentative with me claiming I get the shots done in an office somewhere. I literally spent five minutes defending my position that I am a woman with disability, prescribed and injectable vitamin by my dr, and bc I give the injections to myself that I need syringes. He refused to give me the syringes to take my medicine bc he thinks I should have it done in an office. I wonder if diabetics are treated this poorly?!My medication (4) was requested by my doctor two weeks ago. Rite Aid told me they never received it. I just confirmed with my dr that he sent four prescriptions two weeks ago… I spoke to the pharmacist directly who denied having them. He said he received two and two weeks ago told me one. Now he says three but not four. When I asked him why the prescriptions weren’t noted or filled two weeks ago he was very rude telling me: “I have patients waiting.” This rude treatment is AFTER I have waited two weeks. I am a loyal Rite Aid consumer who will be switching pharmacies as there are no decent Tite AIDS in the Lansing area,

Why is this lady messing with my brother so much? His dr approved medication several times and was on the phone with him and the lady really said no they have to call here. She is giving a disabled man a hard time for what? It is not her job to decide what doctors approve of. Do not recommended.

Short staffed. I understand. That’s why I didn’t complain when my prescription that was supposed to be ready at 3 still was not filled at 615. So I sat in a chair directly across from the pharmacist and waited patiently. After sitting for awhile I received a phone call that my prescription was ready. I assumed I would be called to the counter as promised to pick it up if it was in fact ready. I sat another 25 minutes as countless people walked in and were waited on ahead of me. I finally approached the counter and yes.. my order had been ready the whole time. They just let me sit there and never told me. To add insult the employee wearing very dark sunglasses was extremely rude to me and told me I should have expected bad service as they were short. Staffed. I was very patient. At some point there is a very real line between short staffed and doing your best to just outright horrible customer service, a bad attitude and using short handed as an excuse. I’ll be switching pharmacies. This was absolutely unacceptable and not excusable.

My daughter was released from the special care post delivery on the 9th. She was going to the Ronald McDonald house, as her baby is in the NICU. Her grandmother and I took her to Rite Aid to fill her prescriptions. Hospitalized for 8 days, she was released with postpartum pre-eclampsia and on 2 or 3 medications to control her blood pressure.I will have to come back to this. It's positively shameful that she was gven a 3 day partial prescription, but despite numerous empty promises, they put an early postpartum mother in extreme danger. She is now in the process of having to get herlevels back where they should be.THIS is one of the reasons our postpartum death rates are so high in the US. Sparrow could provide the best postpartum care in the world, but none of that matters if the pharmacy doesn't do their job.You had options available to you, including requesting the medication from another Rite Aid, releasing her script (for a blood pressure pill) to have the remainder of it filled at another Rite Aid, calling her doctor for a different medication, etc. This was downright negligence and laziness. The additional stress, especially with this dangerous condition, on a new mom who has a newborn in the NICU,was completely unnecessary and incredibly dangerous.Edited: I will leave my errors in punctuation and whatnot stand in my above review. My only edit is to thank you for responding. I will absolutely reach out to you/the "owner". Another of the medications she was left without is an antidepressant she went on during her pregnancy. This is the last thing she needed with a premature, dangerous labor, delivery, and early postpartum period. I was a nurse before a debilitating, permanently disabling injury. Her OB already had a plan in place for the AD. She was on this medication, which was then similarly dispensed to her in an irresponsible (improper) manner. Instead of protecting her against postpartum depression and continuing her treatment, she was left having to worry not only about her baby and what she has gone through and is going through, but when she would get the rest of her Vasotec and Lexapro. Neither of these medications should be discontinued cold turkey without (weaning or) being directly ordered by a doctor to do so and under their supervision.

A cashier named Paul was without a doubt the rudest, most unprofessional employee I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. His attitude made sense when he told me he didn't like dealing with the public. I will never shop in this store again as long as they let people like Paul work there

I’ve been going here for a couple years for all my Rx. I’m realistic that they are busy with the volume of Rx they fill. My experience is they are filled in a timely manner. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I’ve not had a bad experience here.

After a horrible experience at another Rite Aid location, I had my mother's prescriptions transferred here because they had pill packs and could deliver. The pill packs were 4 different cards, making it very confusing. They are only supposed to be on one to make it less complicated for the user, in this case, an 87 year old. Some of the medications were not in the correct spots. Also, they were hard to open and my mother was unable to access her medications easily. We ended up having to take them out and put them in her pill box. The idea was to avoid this. I finally had enough and had the prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy that isn't Rite Aid. The pharmacist at this location had the nerve to call me and scold me and tell me not to come back to any Rite Aid. Don't worry, I don't plan to. Filing a complaint with the corporate office. Who knows if that will make a difference. I suspect that is why Rite Aid is in such bad shape.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I had a prescription to fill on a Friday, and they were out and gave me a four day supply saying the rest would be ready on Monday. I came back and they said they had no record of me. After I pressed and insisted, they finally found it and then proceed to fill it. I waited 15 minutes and they called me up. I gave them a coupon and was greeted with "I wish you would have told me about this before" as if I even had the opportunity. They proceeded to try and figure out how to apply it and then told me it wasn't activated. At this point I just wanted to pay and leave, but they said I'd now have to wait again while the head pharmacist approved it, for whatever reason. Not sure what changed between me trying to apply a coupon and not, but I then waited another 30 minutes. They called my name but called my last name only so I didn't know it was for me and finally, frustrated, I went up and asked what was going on. I spend an hour waiting for what should have been ready when I got there. I understand that the medical worlds is hectic now days, but this isn't the only long wait I've ever had here. Its either 1 person manning the counter, window and doing Covid-19 vaccines, or its 4 people and no one can seem to make anyone's wait less than 20 minutes, even when all they need to do is pick up their already ready prescription. The rest of the store is fine, but this experience has really put me off of this location and Rite Aid in general.

I have been getting all of my medications here for the last 2 years. The staff is friendly. They do seem to go through a lot of staff in the pharmacy. There have been at least 5-7 different pharmacists since I've been going to this location. There in NOT a drive thru at this location.

On multiple occasions going to this location there's a drive-thru closed sign on the window I go inside and there are three or more employees in the pharmacy. It does not take more people to wait on someone in the Drive-Thru than at the counter. Yesterday I had to call four times to get through to someone, on one call I was redirected to the main menu to select an option four times. Twice in 2 months I was told a prescription was never called in by my doctor's office, later confirmed that it had been.

I placed an order with Amazon 10-14-2019. Rite Aid is a Amazon Hub Counter. It's new. Description: What are Amazon Hub Counters? Counter is a new pickup service that adds more choice and convenience for you and your Amazon packages. Counter is a service that allows you to pick up your packages from locations nearby like convenience stores and pharmacies. I was having my package sent to store no. 1615. 1004 East Michigan Avenue Lansing, MI 48912-1809.Today at about 1:30pm I discovered someone received the package and refused to take it. The package was then returned to the seller!! Amazon will be informing you of your error. I will not trust Rite Aid again to take any of my packages.

Called to see if they have walk-in boosters (said so on their website), only response is that they're "all booked up". Then why are you calling it a walk-in? And why won't you tell me when one is available? Very unhelpful

Place lies about what they are capable of filling just to avoid working with goodrx. They stated it was against Michigan law to fill a prescription from an out of state doctor, which is false. Shame on you.
