Giving review based on dog bath experience. The water when all the way turned up was still cold, which I did not appreciate. They also do not have a gate in the bath tub so for dogs like mine who do not like baths it was hard to get her to stay. I would recommend looking before you take your dog there

Don’t let them push their home products (like Redford dog food) like they’re top of the line.Actually had a worker talk me out of trying a recommended food because he said “your dog could be eating dog” and then went to praise how his coincidentally similar breed dogs do so well on Redford food. My previous food is under recall and I’m waiting for it to come back on the shelf. The food recommended is of poor quality and not that great. After doing all of my research that I should have done, it’s clear instead of being a trusted consultant, they’re just there to push their house brand for higher profit.Won’t be buying Redford food again.

Store is terrific. Website to order 1hour curbside pickup was worthless. Even though I submitted the order twice I never got a confirmation email. My local store never got the order but they stepped right in and helped me.Next time I will call the direct. I am handicapped so it is difficult for me to shop the aisles.

In January, my cat Grace had to be treated for a #2 blockage, and the vet recommended that I start feeding her wet food to ease digestion. Rather than have to search for a wet food that she’d like, I knew that she liked the dry version of Redford Naturals Sensitive Stomach formula, so it made things easier for Pet Supplies Plus to carry a wet version of that exact same food. Now that I’m feeding it to her regularly, combined with the fact that it’s harder to get to a PSP location given the lack of buses running, I’ve been utilizing curbside pickup when I’m able to get a ride down there.I’m not sure if I’ve interacted with Debbie the several times I had been inside the store, but I loved the short but thoughtful messages she’d write on the packing slip for my orders. On the first one, she even included some meat treats for cats. Grace and one of my other two LOVED them. Pet Supplies Plus has been working quite well for me to get my pet supplies at. They have my order ready quickly and I’ve always gotten positive service.

Great place for puppy food and toys. Friendly staff. Just figured out that prices for dog food are better than Chewy. Ryan, the manager, is fantastic and dedicated to superior customer service. Definitely better prices and service compared to Chewy. Love my neighborhood store!

To be honest, I've only explored the fish section, but for a smaller locally owned store, I think there was a fair amount of supplies. They have a small selection of fresh water fish for sale at reasonable prices, the most commonly needed chemicals to balance a tank, a small selection of tanks and gravel, and some tank decor. I really appreciate the frozen fish food selection, personally. My cichlid likes a variety of fresh and frozen food and it's been difficult to find it all in one spot until now. Bonus points for having a points card! I appreciate being able to save, just by buying the items I would have purchased anyway.The staff is kind and friendly, but not to an uncomfortable degree.Oh, and the hours-- they're open later than most LPS, and I've been so greatful for that a few times over!!I don't have a picture from the store, but here's my very happy RBP Cichlid, Penny, for tax. ♡

The store lady i do not remember her name but each and every time i have been to the store i was treated like i was the only customer the lafy yesterday did everything she could to find the harness for my dog you didnt have the size i needed but she found me a leash i can use unril summer and we walk those pounds off my little lady thank you pet supplies plus i will not go anywhere else i love this puppy well she will be 4 years old the beginning april ill post it thanks for all who look speak upon etc god bless you all who take the time to look and read 😄

Friendly staff and good selection on their products. Very convenient that they're open 'til 9 on Weekdays. Not too many places have products I can rely on to be safe to feed to our dog (who has a lot of sensitivities & allergies), so thanks for being here and carrying the products that you do!

Good selection and tanks are fairly clean but staff is very poorly trained when it come to bagging fish which is costing them money because the fish get too stressed and die. Last time I went they absolutely did not fold the bag down correctly so there was no air in the bag and they didn’t put a rubber band on it they just tied it.Please for the love of god train your employees on how to bag fish it literally would take 5 minutes and save you money and returns.

The prices are slightly higher than other pet stores. However, the employees and level of customer service are the two factors that keep me/us coming back! There is no pet store that rivals the level of care that you will receive than Pet Supplies Plus in Lansing!

Pet Supplies Plus is definitely my favorite pet store but especially the S Lansing location. The store is always stocked and organized. Prices are clearly marked and the staff is helpful and friendly. I actually drive farther just to come to this location.

We shop here from Charlotte because of the coupons that I get sent to my email. However, because I signed up back in 2016 in Grand Rapids, they can never find me in the computer at the register. The last time, Amy, the manager went above and beyond to help search for me so I could use the coupon. It’s one of the reasons I keep making the trip from Charlotte to shop here. Great customer service!!!
