Decent selection of products. The staff at this location is helpful and reasonably knowledgeable in the products they carry. They had some flowers starting to arrive. They have some decent prices on many products. They do seem to have products you wouldn't expect.

We had a great experience tonight in the paint department! We had questions about colors, the right paint to use, rollers etc. Arne was there to help. He was patient in answering our questions and actually seemed interested in doing so. He gave us outstanding customer service, like so unbelievable now a days that I felt compelled to write this!

Had exactly what we needed at the right price at exactly the time we needed it- when no one else in town did. Was great at consulting on options and helping load the purchase.The mail-in rebate you can easily accidentally throw away bugs me- could just give everyone a loyalty gift card with 11% credit on each purchase. (Or less if it's guaranteed customers will use it) But you catch great deals there compared to other "Hardware +" stores even if you don't use it.

Poor customer service! Didn't call me to tell me my order has been in since October 11th, today is the 26th. Only reason I know it's in is because I called them, and now I missed 2 weeks of decent weather to install all because someone can't do their job! The 11% rebate is the biggest scam out there also. I will go back to one of the other stores who actually give you 10% off your order and support the military and emergency agencies. Don't fall for the scam, Menards should be ashamed of there service, for ripping people off and no care for uniform personnel

This Menards is consistently a poor shopping experience. You have to hunt down an employee for help and the layout of the store makes finding things impossible. Even just getting into the store is challenging with entrances closed, or areas blocked off. Good thing Lowes is right around the corner.

Very disappointed in managements decision to fire a 2 year employee today. This employee is only 18 and was scammed by a professional criminal at the checkout register. Employee was always on time and did their job as ask. Won't be shopping there anymore.

I have been a customer of Menards since they opened in Lansing, Especially liked their Covid Response and unapologetic procedures at the entry,However, on Tuesday, May 30 I went to purchase items for a deck railing project, All of the items showed over 75 in stock on their website. When I got there, they had 12 of the 2x6's. I called the contractors desk and they said they would send someone out to the "barn" to help me find the missing lumber. Waited 15 minutes ......no one came.Second issue....The boards I wanted were on the 2nd floor of the barn. No way to get them down other than the stairs, occasionally, a fork lift driver came by, but they were usually on another mission.

Great outdoor center for plants. Our store has expanded the lumber area and lawn and garden, they definitely have almost anything you could need for repairs or home improvement.

After I spent 10 minutes looking for an item to no avail I decided to find an employee for some assistance. I came across a group of four employees having a rather inappropriate conversation and politely asked if they could point me in the right direction. Three of them we’re clueless but the fourth who was as pleasant as a rattlesnake simply pointed down an isle saying go that way it should be by the end then turned and continued with their conversation. I was a slightly annoyed by the lack of customer service but it was the last item I needed so I went to checkout. I purchased around $600 worth of building supplies and as I was leaving the store asset protection stopped me and accused me of stealing a $12 dollar pair of reading glasses I’d been using to read labels since I had forgotten mine. I understand this is their job and as a former police officer I’ve handled plenty of calls for retail theft and if he had conducted himself properly it wouldn’t have been an issue. But instead he decided to be rude, arrogant and condescending letting his little plastic asset protection id inflate his ego. After a brief argument that continued even after I made it obviously clear I hadn’t taken anything he finally realized it was time to shut his mouth and walk away, I was so annoyed by the overall experience I nearly returned everything and wish I had.

I shop here for many reasons. The first one is the great prices versus the competition and the second one is the helpful staff that actually answers my questions. I have lost my phone and my wallet in this store and both times they were found by the staff and returned to me. Thanks team!!

Menards has everything I need for projects so I have shopped there for years. Lately staff have become less helpful or pleasant. Yesterday one was actually rude on a return and nothing was out of order. I have only visited this Menards so cant speak for other stores and I rarely ask for assistance but if I do Id like to be treated pleasantly.

They meet all my needs for DIY projects, painting supplies,lumber, tools, plumbing, and many more interesting supplies. The store is always clean, the employee's go out of their way to help customers. There is a employee near by when you need help. Not like home depot, can never find employee's there.Keep up the great work you do. I really like the 11% return on products purchased.

Tried to get prices on lumber today! Nothing has a price on it or infront of the stack. There is only a QR code. If you don't have your phone, you just have to guess at the price. You are supposed to be a customer service based company! PRICE YOUR MERCHANDISE!!!!!

Made the switch to Lowe's after a decade + of Menards. The quarantine price gauging was really disappointing with $9/gal. bleach. Fairly happy with Lowe's now.

Menards is the first place I go to purchase my household items. They always have great prices and a good selection. I appreciate the frequent sales they have and the fact that the shelves are lower than most stores. I am 5 feet tall and I seldom have trouble reaching top counter items. If I do there's always someone there to help. Returns are easy as they have machines you can look the item up and print a receipt if you have lost the original.

Thank you for not ripping people off in their time of need like the flanderer brothers that own Meijer who expect everybody to spend 30% more every week for food just because they pay $5000 per day gross (with a huge list of useless middle people involved)for a guy who put puts up useless trim boards or throws them in their many many trash cans just to manipulate some poor customer for some strange reason.

I hate their rebate system. They intentionally make it as obtuse as possible to turn it in, and yet they advertise the post-rebate prices. It is literally 100% of the reason I prefer home depot....at least their prices are their ACTUAL prices, and typically cheaper than Menards.

Great place to shop, the employees don't hover, but if you ask for help they are very happy and willing to help. I bought all the supplies for a roof and the associate took me step by step through every thing I would need. He was more patient with me than I would have been with myself and helped me get everything. I will definitely be returning.
