Went to the section where they sell fish/fish food, etc, to get new filter cartridges for my fish tank. This woman seemed to be pretty knowledgeable on fish. Despite her losing some sales, she probably saved some fish lives. My rating is due to their being out of stock of wanted items.

Did not appreciate being reprimanded in public for not pre-scanning my "beer" products before I got to the checkout. I was very embarrased. I always do my alcoholic beverages last because they require an ID. I even had them on the scanner ready to add to my order. She was exceptionally rude and was in such a hurry that she didn't follow instructions on the monitor (scan 3 items). I am fed up with the treatment in this store, and I will not be returning to the South Penn store (except pharmacy)!

it stunk‼️ I'm handicapped & 9 out of 10 times I try to get an amigo electric shopping cart, I can't! I see them sitting around in disrepair, but the store owner doesn't care❗if there are enough people needing them, then they should fill the need with more or at least fixing the ones in disrepair, that would be helpful. (drop in the bucket)🙄😕but Meijer doesn't care about disabled customers❕as obvious by their actions ❕❕P.S. the cart attendants practically have to bre forced to bring in the amigo carts, but heaven for bid they should plug them on to charge. The power meter doesn't work much of the time & gets to the back of the store & dies!

Will never shop here again. They're packed as usual. I was stopped from using the express lane, which is completely opened. I has 8 items, instead of 5. I got into the normal lane, only to see someone with a buggy in the express lane checking out. The same employee that stopped me was just standing there.

Never have any stock. Seem to always be restocking when I am there and you see just boxes no one stocking. Bottle return place is more like a homeless shelter..the floor is so sticky you feel like a fly weaving through hoping not to stick! Also, you walk in meijer sober, you leave higher than a kite just from the smell of others. The store is convenient. The pharmacy is nice..can't really blame management, they are doing the best they can!

Nice, clean, fresh everything, very quiet surrounded by all good people located in one of the best areas downtown Lansing also has an many liquor store and food store! Your definitely buying something once you enter!

It just keeps getting worse and worse no matter what time of day it is. It seems like everything I want is out of stock. Everything that's on sale is always out of stock. Whoever controls ordering and stocking is doing horrible job. Only weather people are allowed to be as wrong as everyone is there. Kroger is not much farther away and they have people on the floor to ask where an item is.

This is our "go to" because we live just a 5 minute drive from the store. Always clean and the staff is polite, courteous and knowledgeable. We like our neighborhood store!!

Customer service was great! I had a problem with being double -charged on two items the night before and the customer service rep was pleasant and efficient with helping me get reimbursed for the overcharge and apologized for the error.

Not a bad place, but produce is always next to rotten. It's hard to find anything. They're meat is rarely ever rotated always lacking something and baggers are horrible and no have no idea how to bag correctly

The store is very well stocked and extremely clean. Prices are a little higher compared to other large chain stores. I also notice that the store is always very busy.I bought a special ordered birthday cake on my last visit. The young man was very happy with the cool Minecraft cake!!

Spacious store. Aisles adequate for carts to pass easily side by side. Offers many choices in all departments. Seems a steady busy location. Local surface bus public transit route along parking lot circumference. No problem stopping here traveling in a larger RV. Would not hesitate to shop here again next time in the area during our trips.

I believe that Meijer's have been around mid Michigan long before wal-mart was a household name. So it's pretty much just an everything store. From grocery to clothes, tools to furniture, household items to plants and garden supplies can be found here. I was here for Beer and quickly made my purchase after a very friendly clerck assisted me with ID. If I lived in Lansing, this would be a regular store to shop in for me.

They are constantly moving things around so you spend more time in the store looking for items. The quality of fresh vegetables has declined in that we had Apples, Lettuce, Potatoes, Tomatoes, and Bananas start to spoil within one to two days of purchase. The Sporting Goods Department is limited to one isle. This is not the Meijer's I grew up with.

I just wanna give a great shout to meijers…How are you gonna sell angry orchard and then when I go to do returns the system tells me that I can’t return it … WHEN I BOUGHT IT FROM YALL. and one of your employees I try to talk to and he basically tells me nothing he can do about it just throw it in the trash and walks away… GREAT. Such help right?. So like $10 worth of bottle returns down the drain… THANKS MEIJER

The store is clean, the floor staff is helpful & friendly and the shelves ate usually stocked pretty well. However, the checkout is always nothing short of ridiculous. Out of 28 checkout lanes the most I've ever seen open is 3 lanes being attended. There were TWELVE people with carts in my lane today. People with a cart full of groceries don't want to use the tiny self checkout, especially if you're on a time schedule or have children with them. Come on Meijer, get it together.EDIT: Ask & you shall receive. The shop & scan & self checkout is now AWESOME & saves me SO much time, and now I can bag & organize my items as I want them, as I shop! Game changer, as is the free on line order & pickup. Thanks for listening, & providing convenience for your customer's busy lives. Nice work, Meijer 😉
