Five stars for the people that work there and the people who shop there. Store gets four stars, generally stocked fairly well and clean. Fuel center is a big bonus and the location is good for a few neighborhoods around here.

If I could rate lower I would. This store is full of disappointment. I mean they are always missing something. The stuff is rude the customer service is the worst I've experienced. If I could never come back to shop here I wouldn't... but unfortunately I don't have a car and this is the closest store to my family. Who ever manages this store needs some serious training. I guarantee that i without any experience would manage it better. I. Mean is common sense if you are missing tomatoes get tomatoes!!!! Shame on you Kroger!

I did not ever see much wrong with this store to be honest. Other than they don't have some stuff I want but can easily find at Holt Location. Seems like a nice bigger store. Don't understand the reviews. It is a longer wait sometimes though. Did not think the store was terribly dirty maybe a little sometimes.

This is one of the busiest, and most well stocked, Kroger I've been to. It's huge. And the clerks etc. are always helpful with the various shopping issues that one may encounter while shopping. This particular Kroger has become one of my favorites. I highly recommend shopping here. Wheel chair/walker accessable, with plenty of handicap parking available. Close by the residential neighborhoods of the area.

Anyone giving this kroger more than one star is lying. I have not been satisfied visiting this specific Kroger one time since started. It's been at least a year since the pandemic ended and there are still lines from the u scans to the meat department. They still are using 2 cashiers or even 0 when the store is busy. I've taken coupons that this Kroger refused to accept or even try to use because it was their policy, and used them at other Krogers. It's a little ridiculous that they won't pay cashiers to check you out, Yet. They stand 2 security guards at a time in front of the U. Scans for you not to steal anything. If this Kroger wasn't so close to my house, I would never stop here and I often tread further to get groceries.

Please for the love of god, hire more staff or pay people more so they want to work here. This place is CONSTANTLY running into issues because of understaffing. Half the self checkout machines are down just about every day, the bottle return machines break down or are full constantly, and the staff who are working are clearly working very hard, there just aren’t enough people to make the store run efficiently.

The store is very dirty, looking, and unorganized. Some of the staff appear to be wearing pajamas and just standing around while lines are down the aisle. It was one of the most unprofessional stores I've ever been in.

This place is horrible. Watermelons were labeled $4/ea. Turns out they’re $7. Service was very slow. I easily waited in line for more than 10 min. The cashier Danarah or something(her name tag was smeared) was holding side conversations while trying to ring up my groceries. The deli hummus is good though.Edit: this place is still horrible.

Don't try and do anything with a Mastercard. Customer Service says Kroger doesn't accept them. I had just used mine at another Kroger store. Kroger should tell people through Customer contact activities or by public notices or something.

This store is an embarrassment. There is always trash on the ground when you walk into the entrances. The bottle return area is is even worse. The machines look like they haven't been cleaned in years, and they always seem to be full or broken. You almost feel like you need a tetanus shot after returning your cans and bottles. You have to make sure you check the expiration dates of shelf items, and thoroughly examine the produce (I have found mold on fruit multiple times). There are hardly any cashier lanes open during busy hours and long lines for the self checkout. Panhandlers are always prowling the parking lot. I have seen on many occasions, employees goofing off, when customers are trying to pay or do something else. The only reason I have to tolerate going to this place is because it is the only grocer that is close by, and carries the basic groceries I need that's not a complete rip off like CVS or QD. However, I honestly can't think of a time I went to this place and didn't have a miserable experience.

Shoutout to Aisha, the evening cashier, and reason for this 5 star review. She needs recognition for her positive attitude and exceptional customer service. Just left doing a little shopping and she was the best Kroger employee I’ve ever encountered. Promote her nowwwwww!

Never again will I ever get a cake from here .The cake was stale and the letter that I wanted didnt look like a letter . And they didn't even try to make it look good 🤦🏻‍♀️. It looked like my 2 year old grandson made the cake and it fell apart 😬.

Don't even bother. Have been there a few times. Always out of stupid stuff like lettuce or green onions. Plan an extra half hour for checkout.

Not even competent enough to offer pickup of groceries. Nope, instead you must suffer the poorly staffed checkout lines and poorly stocked shelves. I’ve been here multiple times, has yet to improve.A well run instance of this store could be winning me over. Instead it is a flaming trash fire of incompetence, kept afloat by its location alone.

I’m glad that this store is located where it is, but it is serious need of some investment. This store feels old and dirty and does not offer all of the services that the suburban stores offer such as pick-up orders. I think more affluent people would shop at this store if it felt cleaner and offered the same experience as the suburban stores.

I was on the hunt for Liquid Smoke because I found a great Recipe for Homemade Jerky. Liquid Smoke is a key ingredient. I asked a Stocker named Mark to point me in the direction of finding it. He helped me and we weren't able to locate any on the shelf. 20 mins later when I was checking out he brought some up to me that Blake who is the Store Manager and himself had found in the back. Awesome Customer Service. A huge thank you to Blake and Mark for finding the Liquid Smoke for me in the back. That was top notch service. Thanks again!

We shop here about 3 days a week. Not because its the greatest or cleanest or even friendless, but out of convenience. It does have pretty good deals compared to other stores and the essentials are usually stocked, but not much else. The lines are pretty short too if you go in the mornings, but after that good luck. If you need help with something the produce or stockers are usually very helpful, but I wouldn't count on the cashiers or customer service. They always seem to act to "busy" to help, I guess they don't understand their job title. Someone should make them take a customer service class before working with the public.

This Kroger is nasty!!!!!Items are rarely on the shelves. Cashiers are not friendly. Other customers are just plain rude and very disrespectful. I have been called names being in this store. I am always a nice person but this store brings out the worst in me. I will drive to the Holt location or the Saginaw Rd /Creytes Rd before I will step into the Holmes Rd one agin!!!!!Even the ones at the gas station are not people friendly. Too busy being on the personal phones to see you're standing right in front of them. Then they act like you're interrupting them. I have had my fill of Holmes Rd.

Worst Kroger by far. Employees rude and have zero manors. Only care to gossip and the check out process is slow as molasses. I rented an air bnb near by and will travel further to go shopping for the remainder of my stay! GHETTO!

Items are perpetually out of stock at THIS Kroger location. They won't fix it. They don't care if they lose customers. They don't open registers no matter how long the line and won't install self checkouts badly needed. They don't answer the phone except to hang it back up and stop it from ringing. There are too many dogs at Kroger, a "grocery store". Finally, I had items stolen. The theft is what actually caused me to leave a one star comment. The manager seemed like a nice guy but corporate clearly isn't giving him the tools necessary to be successful. Suggest Kroger create a new name brand for stores that don't meet minimum standards but they don't want to close.

They've always got what I need and usually very easy to get. Great Fresh produce here!Sometimes though and it seems DAILY either shop well before 5pm. If you're shopping at 5pm you'll wait forever to check out.. It sounds crazy but apparently everyone goes there right after work.5pm its absolutely crazy trying to checkout! Wait until 6pm and the mad rush is done.The store is jam packed at five o'clock and there's no easy way out.Patients is Required for 5 o'clock shopping.Other than that I shop here regularly because they always have good sales and fresh produce.Maybe this post will get more checkout line's open.There has to be a way of having more cashiers at the 5 o'clock hour...The self scan lane's have a line almost all the way to the back of the isle. (It's Crazy)Should be able to work something out....It's been like this as long as I've shopped here.

If I could make it zero stars, I would. This has got to be the worst Kroger in Lansing. For one, they do not put their sale signs up. And most of the time they only have one checkout operator. I was there yesterday, and after shopping for probably 40 minutes, went to check out with a cart full of groceries. I was so happy to see two cashiers. After waiting almost 10 minutes in line, the cashier announces he's going on break and for myself and everyone behind me to move over behind a bunch of other people. Needless to say, I left my cart full of groceries and went to a different Kroger that knows how to take care of their customers.

Can't believe what goes on at this store. People stealing things right under the nose of the self checkout clerk's.And they have SO CALLED security there Some old broad with a blonde ponytail that just walks away and gets her partner that not worth his time either.These people who are stealing know what their doing they do it ALL the time.
