This place is amazing!! I work in Flint and even people there talk about going. They have just about everything you could want food wise and even more. The candy section is a favorite of my kids. There's produce, groceries, salad and soup bar, dozens of flavored coffee beans, flavored popcorn, chocolates, deserts, organic and healthy snacks, vegetables, herbs, jams, nuts, plants, flowers, garden supplies, pet supplies, pizza.... too many things to list in one post. This is a Country Store Disneyland. You've Gotta See This Place! Everything under the sun, freshest produce, remarkably from all over the world; The largest selection of everything including beers, wines, confections, meats, cheeses and outside pavilions with bier gardens, stage entertainment, pizzeria, food trucks (as if you need them) but above all the produce. Takes hours to see it all and each aisle will leave you WOWWED!

Horrocks is an amazing place. This is hands down the best place to shop for produce in all of the Lansing area. They have a little bit of everything there. If you can't find it at Horrocks then good luck. Love this place.

Really glad to finally check out this farmer's market. Not only they have lots of usual fresh products to pick from, there are also many exotic items that you don't usually see in the regular market. Will be back again.A warning on the pizza if you are planning to do a quick meal while checking out this market: the wait on Friday night can easily take up 45-60 mins (small kitchen, I supposed). Either put in the order as soon as you arrive and check out the market while you wait, or make other dinner plan nearby.

Such a creative concept! Use the greenhouses.... Sell plants... Have a wine bar and fresh produce market attached...add pizza and live music! Create a marvelous mix of fun, shopping and live entertainment as you indulge your eyes and taste buds!Cold salads available but the hot plates don't start until 8 pm. Once it's gone, it's gone and they do not refill.Business closes at 9 pm currently.Quite the experience!

I live for this place, amazing! You’d never expect to come around on a highway to experience a finer farmer market like this! Organic produce, cheap sales, wonderful garden, great place for drinks. Literally everyone in the world needs a horrocks farmers market! Worth the money, worth the trip and definitely worth the experience. Horrocks can fill a void inside that many things can’t and plenty of restrooms for a nice walk, look and shop! Perfect for family, perfect for all occasions you’d be a fool not to come and see this lovely place! I love coming here and I know you would too.

Horrocks is possibly the best place to visit in Lansing and definitely one not to miss!! It is a wonderland; the store holds many surprises, and it just keeps going and going. When you think you’ve reached the end, you have not, just keep going. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh and delicious. They have so many unique and interesting items. I love that you can purchase alcohol and walk around the store and drink it while shopping. Also, the included Iorio's custard bar is always fun to stop at. The double sided soup bar is amazing and always has great soups to try. You can get everything at the store from fresh cheeses, frozen seafood, jams, jellies, pickled items, herbs, nuts, wine, beer, there’s even a Paleo food item aisle, as well as a taffy wall, gummy candy section and popcorn bar. It is also a greenhouse, therefore, there are many plants and gardening supplies available, as well as bird seed, grass seed, etc. The flavored balsamic and olive oil section near the coffee area is also fantastic. I also love that you can order a pizza and go out to the Beer Garden and eat it in the beautiful greenhouse area overlooking the mini pond. They also always have a food truck on premises, and in the winter time a stage and live bands in the beer garden. don’t miss out on visiting this magical wonderland.

This place has every specialty food under the sun. I picked up a beautiful locally grown orange cauliflower that I’m making with dinner tonight. They also have a wide selection of hard to find drinks, including mead. There is a fresh salad bar, an antipasto bar, and even a soup bar. The cheese selection is amazing. I would make a trip out of town to visit this place if I were you. You won’t regret it.. I promise!

We went for the Chipotle Olive Oil but the bin was just about empty. We squeezed out 1 bottle. Then discovered the Tuscan Olive Oil was delicious and bought 3 of those. Of course we traveled around the store with a draft beer in our cart. We didn't buy any sweet potatoes but apparently they are a BIG thing there. Look at the pile of them. Same with cheese. I never saw a wheel of cheese so large anywhere so of course I had to take a picture of that. We did buy the Buddha Hand's. The exact one you see in the middle of the picture is now in my kitchen just waiting for me to get creative. We also left with 2 pizzas. Kinda expensive but the meat lovers pizza was loaded with meat. The pickle pizza not so much. Could have used more pickles. But maybe that's me. I love pickles and also had picked up some fresh horseradish pickles so I could have topped my pizza off with more. Overall I said about 3 times as we browsed around: "I love this place!" On the way home we made a plan to come back when the outside picnic area and beer garden is open and there are plants to buy because it's about 80 miles from where we live. This place is a treat for anyone who is alive and likes to eat and find things they can't find other places and pick up staples also.Update 2024: We still love this place even though we went last week and wanted to get some of their smoked paprika and both bins were scraped clean. I guess that's pretty popular stuff. I know we thought it was delicious. We also were amazed by the variety of sweet potatoes!

This is a place you must visit. Plan to spend 3 to 4 hours and see half of it. Largest salad bar I have ever seen and a soup bar with 2 dozen choices. A pizza shop and tavern. Everything you ever care to own.

An excellent local market that has all of your food needs at an excellent price. Friendly and helpful staff. The lady making the popcorn was very helpful and gave some recommendations.You can get local, fresh produce and a lot of other things: their own brand of jam, sushi and hot soups made in house, special coffees, popcorn, imported olive oil, gourmet desserts, pizza, or local beers/alcoholic beverages at the tavern and beer garden.There is a lot of stuff here! They even have food trucks in the pavilion on busy days.

I am in town from North Carolina, called to see if I could get a nice silk floral arrangement made for our mothers grave site Friday. Oh Wow they have absolutely so many things. Many items you can't get at the "regular" grocery stores. Worth the trip and bought some things to try that I have never seen before. Service is great and very helpful. The tea selection was great for some new flavors, yummy! Looking forward to trying the cheese selections I bought too.

This market was recommened to me. I was recently in Lansing so I decided to stop in. Hands down THE BEST market I’ve ever shopped at. I don’t even know where to begin. They make their own popcorn in a variety of flavors. The popcorn is so good. The bulk food section is huge, you can make your own peanut butter. The honey roasted peanut butter is literally the best I’ve ever had. They have an entire section of olive oils and vinegars that you can fill bottles with. A entire section of coffee to grind yourself. The produce and vegetable section is next level. They sell items that I’ve only heard or seen on Food Network. They have a beer garden and you can take your beer, walk around and shop. I hardly scratched the surface and we were their for at least an hour or more. The prices are very affordable. I’ll be going back again and next time I’ll bring some coolers to transport everything. 100% worth a drive or day trip to Lansing just to go here.
