The cashier was very nice and friendly. She suggested a couple of dresses for me, as I was looking for some summer clothes to keep cool. She said that the knit dresses were very comfortable and that she had purchased one in every color. Lol...Unfortunately I couldn't find my size, but I just might check another Family Dollar store. It's been awhile since I've had great customer service like that. I really appreciated her friendliness and willingness to help. Thank you ma'am 😊

The store and employees are great. But I was stuck behind a lady with a whole cart full of product who was slow and complained about everything while the very patient cashier attempted to simply complete what should not be a very difficult transaction. Props to that cashier....update: its still a store, but now closes daily at 6pm. Don't blame them. Lots of thugs in and out of that store.

During my check out the machine asked me if I wanted cash back. I selected $50.00 cash back and agreed to the $1.50 transaction fee. The cashier then told me I could not get cash back and abruptly explained that it was my fault I did not read the sign on the counter that stated no cash back. I explained that I did not see the sign. She then proceeded to be very condescending saying that there was nothing to be done and I would not get my $50.00. She was very demeaning and vulgar making me feel inferior. I asked why the machine not only asked me if I wanted cash back but also stated there was a $1.50 transaction fee. She continued to be very condescending repeating that I should have read the sign. I explained that there should not be an option to select cash back on the card machine if they did not give cash back. She said there was nothing they could do and I was out $50.00. I felt she could have handed the situation better. The last couple of days for me had been intolerable for me and I felt like she had no regards for my feelings. I will never return to family dollar.

One of the BEST Family Dollars in town. They have carrs which is a plus right there. The Family Dollar on Michigan ave and the one on MLK and Williw no carrs either. People take them out and keep going. Its been months though they need to get more carrs and use their heads and put 6 ft poles on them lije this place so it can't get out tge door and says right on it Can't Take Outside.Also their prices seem to be higher. They sure aren't using the extra $$ for more CARTS.They are ALL LOW ON CATFOOD ...buying singles get expensive. We go here to save $$ get some 12pk, 24pks of Sheba ,Friskies,9lives like you used to whats up?

I called before I went last year during COVID if you want to call it COVID . I can't wear mask due to health reasons , but it happens to be i had gotten the manager that day and I explained what I was looking for if they had and reason why I called ,. I told him I couldn't wear masks if they could have it at check out and this is what I look like and what I wearing if I could just come in and pay for it and walk out he was very happy to work with me on it and I really appreciate him for it.

I just bought a headset the night before then one of the sides had no sound so I went back today and they would not return or exchange them. I was told to wait for the regional manager to look up the headset in their system. I was told by the onsite manager that their system is so outdated that he can't scan or look up the part to return them. Sad company with bad customer service. I won't go there again.

Not to bad of a Family Dollar besides they run out of stock alot but thats everywhere rght now=} Its actually one of the cheaper Family Dollars also, when I shop at different Family Dollars & for the same stuff it'll b a few dollars more is what I mean.

With today's prices we all need a Family Dollar. Where else are you getting Universal Remotes $8.50, 12 double rolls of Bathroom Tissue for $5.00 or Duplex Creme Cookies for $2.00 in my town... only at Family Dollar.

My mom left something in the store close to closing time and the very rude staff and cashier wouldn't even help her get it or let her stay and look for it my mom's disabled and they were very rude very unhelpful we live 40 miles away and yet they wouldn't even take 5 minutes to let her or me come in and look for it I plan on putting a call into corporate immediately and if the manager or any of the general manager reading this know that your employees are not about any type of customer service whatsoever.
