Absolutely love this book store. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Her two cats greet us at the door and are also very friendly and welcoming.The store is so fun. So many things to look at and such a great variety of books and other items. Including serial killer bath bombs and other iconic items.

What a fun and charming book store. There were so many cool and unique items to see that I definitely need to go back there soon. There is a feeling you get here, almost like you're a child again and attending the scholastic book fair. The owner is personable and loves talking about true crime and sharing her love of Lansing. She recommended so many places to us that we will have to go back just to see it all. Highly recommend checking out her sticker collection! After we made our purchase, she offered to sign my book for me. Turns out she is an author as well and I cannot wait to read it. Definitely check this place out.

Had a lovely visit to Deadtime Stories: True Crime and Other Books, the shop had a really amazing layout, a great selection of book, gifts and ice cream. Even a cute cat! Really clean and beautiful designed store! I really enjoyed looking at everything even had a great kid’s section! Only complaint is the man working wasn't super helpful, it was clear he was helping his wife which cant fault him for that and he was very very kind just wish he could of suggested more books for me :) overall really recommend this bookstore it gives all the cozy vibes!

Absolutely worth visiting. The stock is unique and varied. Four of us two tweens and two adults ended up at Deadtime and well walked out with lighter wallets, fulls bags and anticipation for our next visit. The owners were friendly and engaging. The shop pets were adorable, even the tarantula.If you're in the area (or not because we weren't) it's definitely worth a stop.

I’m a shop small frequent flyer, and this is one of my go-to spots. Incredible book and gift selection, I can grab a plush for my nephew’s birthday, a few board books for a baby shower, and a new thriller read for myself all while chit chatting with Jenn or Dax about the REO town haps and maybe offering some chin scratches to the resident felines.

Highly recommend this book store to feed the true crime addiction. I got to meet Jenn today and she is very down to earth and obviously very passionate with what she does! Added bonus: there's two cats and a tarantula to keep you company while you shop.

I drive an hour to get my books from here! I love the selection and always have to grab a mystery grab from the rub too!! Jenn always remembers me when I come in, no matter how long it has been since I've been there! The conversations while shopping and checking out are an added bonus!! Love my true crime bookstore!!

I FINALLY was able to stop in this shop today for the first time and I am in love. My daughter and I love all things creepy and odd and this store has EVERYTHING you could imagine and more. I will definitely be an ongoing customer. The whole vibe of the place is just so fun. I can't wait to meet the actual owner, I met her parents today whom were so sweet and funny. If you are into horror films, true crime stories etc and other paranormal this store is great. Awesome gift idea shop. I can't wait for Xmas next year now!!!!

From the time you spot this store from the street you can tell this is one of the best put together speciality bookshops around. Every part of the shop appears well though out and put together. From the amazing displays to the careful curation of the books this bookstore is worth a visit.

I have visited many times and it has been a fun and unique experience each time! The owner is great with rotating stock and offering new books regularly! She also keeps in-touch with what customers want. This is my go-to place when I have an out-of-town visitor. Not only is this place unique to Lansing, it's unique to the universe! I would live in this store if it wouldn't be weird...and if it had a bed (maybe a kitchenette. 😅)

Great store dedicated to the macabre of true crimes. The owner is very knowledgeable of her stock and the gift side is a hoot! Lots of fun fictional and non fictional murderer swag. And some great one of a kind murder memorabilia. Would recommend to anyone into it.
