I enjoy this Costco since it is not overcrowded like some others are. The workers in the optical department were friendly and helpful. The food court was clean and my pizza was hot and fresh. The checkout lines went nice and smooth.

Cannot recommend a Costco membership enough. However, you do not need a membership to eat at the food court or buy alcohol. There are 13 Michigan Costco locations and this one is very nice, I like how bright and well lit it is. Employees were very friendly and there is ample parking. Costco gas is always cheaper than normal gas stations too.

Costco is getting out of control with its anti sharing measures. My wife and I share a household membership. We should be able to have a single family card that anybody in the household can use. Same with the Costco credit card. Nope. We each have to have our own Costco card and each need our own separate credit card. It wasn’t that long ago when you could have a single household credit card as long as both husband and wife were on the account. I understand cracking down on sharing with friends and extended family, but come on. This is too much. There was also zero advertising about these changes. I had a cart full of groceries last week and was refused service because my wife happens to be the one who signed up for the account. I didn’t receive an email, nor a phone call, and there has been nothing about this in the circular that’s sent to us every couple weeks. Get it together Costco!

Excellent prices, large quantity, high quality. I love grabbing lunch at the food court after shopping. Can't beat the 1.50 hot dog and drink combo. I don't like being heckled about my membership card because I'm not middle aged and the employees assume the membership I'm using isn't mine though

Love my Costco trips! Sunday samples were great. I found a new balsamic sauce that's absolutely delicious. I wouldn't have bought without tasting first!

The employees could be nicer. The employees could be kinder. I have had many rude cashiers try to bring me down but it's not happening. I wish the company treated the employees better maybe they wouldn't be so miserable

The gas prices are worth the membership alone. I enjoy walking around and getting tasty food samples from time to time. The customer service is not as relaxing as I would like due to the high paced environment but all of the workers are more than happy to assist in any way possible which I love.

This store is always very busy. I am very happy they have the self checkout lines. The only reason I marked down a star is I am one that refuses to leave a cart in the middle of a parking space. They don't have many places to put your carts. They are very busy so I parked out in the boonies and had to hunt for the cart keeper in the rain.

Costco is a necessary evil. They have decent products that you cannot purchase other places. Every staff member I have encountered are rude. I swear at this point it is some elaborate prank or one of the qualifications to work here is to be an a hole. Update: spoke to assistant GM. He was great and instantly helped us.

I wish I would have gotten the name of the kind man that helped me at self checkout today. I was there around 3:30pm. I think he had a mustache, brown hair and not super tall. It’s just wonderful to experience kind people at stores, especially during this time of the year. Thanks for your hospitality!

I don't have a membership but went with my daughter who does. Awesome store!Very friendly, loved the big hot dog and pop for 1.50 I believe.

Limited selection, if had government subsidy to bring local business goods at wholesale price to national marketplace would do more good community wise to keep money local rather than in brokers hands.Buying tangibles and auto servicing is okay but -1 for lack of decency in food, one location with limited to no bus service would normally be -3 but pricing is +2

Organic A2 MILK in the purple box is EXCELLENT- it’s the ONLY milk my 17 yr old daughter can digest with NO problem whatsoever! Thank you Costco for carrying this wonderful milk!

If i can give this place a 0 star i willI been in this store today, it awful experience, the self scan, the lady with the big lips have a bad and ugly face, she stop me for twins to go restroom, and I already paid for my items, I’m an adult, ask me one time is enough. And another fat guy come to help her, and tell me don’t come back, just because I’m a Asian woman, I’m not the low education like them, can’t yell in front of public, and for sure I won’t shop with your place no more

Holy Grail Costco, why you ask??? Because it has the never seen before 3 pump gas lines at it's gas station! Besides that, it's super clean and bright, plenty of easy parking, items haven't been picked over. No wait lone at the tire center. This is a really nice Costco.

A little disappointed very busy to much traffic for my taste. I personally went for the oversized cupcakes and they don't sell them that way anymore 😭 Long ride or disappointment.

Everything is expensive. One can find a better price at Kroger or Meijer. Have to show ID to make a purchase. When illegals don't have to do that to get on a plane.

Gas is cheaper here than all gas stations. Meat options are good. Vegies & fruit options are limited. Good bakery options. Clothing & reading options are hit or miss. Dont use restrooms as all toilets are too low, even hndcp.

Went to Costco for the first time with my girlfriend. It was wonderful. I hate big stores like Walmart and Meijer, but Costco felt different. There's more space for people to move around, the deals are great, the food is great, the samples are great. Best wholesale/supermarket company around. I hear their employees get paid better too, but I don't know that for sure. Wouldn't doubt it though. Got gas here too, with membership it's the cheapest gas in town.

Just my first time there (new member) but the staff was extremely nice and they all got to dress up for Halloween! I appreciate fun businesses. Prices seem to be lower than Sam's too.

We love the east lansing Costco !! Our family purchases all of our essentials here. Great deals on bulk items and we even find clothes we love while we are there. Make sure you go hungry and ready to snack for the samples !! Don’t forget to pre order your full size pizza !
