Store under new ownership and all prices have gone up and some are marked wrong. Went in today to purchase a pulley. Found what I needed and went to check out. Item was suppose to be $6.99 rang up $9.99. Cashier and I went back and found out wrong item in wrong slot. Grabbed the right item and walked back up front again it rang up $9.99. Looked at cashier and said tag said $6.99 she said I have to charge you what it rang up. I believe there is a scan law in Michigan and they should honor $6.99 price. Not the 1st time I had a bad experience in the store but figured they were close and convenient so I would give it another shot. Good luck your prices are high and your pricing is wrong. In the future I will take the extra 10 minutes and visit Home Depot.

New owners have expanded their selection, and unfortunately have expanded their prices even more... . Recently stopped in after they took over and shopped several items I was interested in - 1/4" plastic compression valve was $14.99, almost double price at Homies. spark plugs I used to get for $2.79 are now $4.89, 6" Crescent adjustable wrench $24.99 - usually $15 or less anywhere else. Even a simple foam gardening kneeling pad was nearly 20 bucks for something that looks like it would be sold at a dollar store!Local hardware stores have always been a treasure, in my opinion, but these huge prices hikes make it much harder to shop here - unless it's an emergency or something small like a random nut or bolt.

I’m very particular on my reviews. I am a very critical person when it comes to value and service. These folks are very knowledgeable at every product they sell. If your doing crafts, General home repair, or a contractor you won’t be disappointed by shopping here. They do truly make you feel like your part of a family. Unlike the big box hardware stores these folks will give you educated pointers and ideas of how to make your project go smooth. The store is very clean as well which is an A+. They have products which you never knew you needed and won’t find anywhere locally. Another great small business!

I love this store because they believe in that old-fashioned thing of trying to help your customer. While I was in the store I had three different clerks ask me if I was Finding everything okay. I am a senior and that means a lot as it gets frustrating trying to find things that you're not sure exactly what you need. Even after I paid for my order and I was outside loading my plants that I had purchased a man came out in the rain to help me even load my plants. This is why I go out of my way and have been going here for over 40 years. It's about the only place in the area that knows what it means to take care of your customers.

About a week ago, I stopped in to get a few specific nuts and bolts. The service was amazing and a very knowledgeable gentlemen must have spent five to ten minutes for about $4.00 and it was the exactly the material I was looking for. Keep up the great work and service. Thank you.

Typical hardware store. Sometimes it's hard to find things. And there are a lot of older employees there that ask if you need help finding an item... after the 3rd time I just want to be left alone just to browse and find the item myself.

I'm blessed to live near such a great hardware store. The staff are very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. I recently needed to fix my toilet and had no idea what I was doing. A staff member made sure I had the right part and explained how to install. He offered to walk me through it on the phone if I ran into issues. I've also never carried anything heavy to my car here, there are always staff available to load your car for you. Paint department is great as well. There is always someone at the door to help you find exactly what you need!

The store has many items that will not be found elsewhere. They have a UPS shipping counter and top rated Benjamin Moore paint counter. The employees are visible, helpful and pleasant. I like the small town feel associated with the store :)

Customer service at its best!!! I come from Blissfield Mi, passing others similar stores, to shop here. The staff is beyond knowledgeable, friendly and right there when you need them. Prices are slightly higher sometimes, but they have everything. It's always busy but that's because everyone feels the same way I do! I will always travel the extra few miles to get what I need with a smile from these fine folks!!!!!

I absolutely love this place. Every single member of the staff welcoming and friendly to me and my dog. I will never go to a Lowe’s or Home Depot or especially Menards if I never have to again. Not only is the store selection ten times better, but it is always actually stocked and organized. In addition to that one employee at do it best is worth ten at the other stores. They ACTUALLY know their products and offer advice that is worth hours of googling. Today they saved me as I almost ruined the wood on my sailboat but their knowledgeable staff saved me from a fatal error for my teak. From greeting to checking out, it’s a good experience that exemplifies the small business feel and the customer service experience that is so hard to find today.Sincerely a “raving fan”

Above and beyond!!! Came to town to purchase a travel trailer and before leaving we wanted to make sure we were road ready and safe stopped here because it was closest. The employees not only knew what and where everything was but they even came outside to help us make sure it was safe. Putting safety as the top priority and willing to come outside in the cold to make sure we got home safe was the nicest thing one could imagine. Any other place would have stopped service at the door and they kept it going. This hardware store is truly a neighborhood gem and feel so fortunate we were able to experience it.

This store is packed full. Very helpful staff. If you live in the area, go there. I drove 20 miles just to shop there. Got all my garden supplies. They are pet friendly !! And my dog got a doggie treat at the register.

I love having a local hardware store and being able to get merchandise that isn't always available at the "big box stores", however it kind of stinks that they have to charge so much more in order to remain in business. I love having all their workers being willing to care that I'm finding what I need or getting something better than what I thought I needed. They don't stand around openly hating their job and they know what they're talking about when I ask questions. If someone doesn't know something they go out of their way to help me find the answer. Whereas places like Lowe's I have to worry about coming across nasty masochistic employees who tell me they aren't a craft store so hit the road.

I love this little hardware store! They are always so friendly and always asking if they can help. Most of the staff are very helpful (I've had one person there treat me like a "girl" and talk down to me). HOWEVER, every other person that I have ever spoken to has been extremely friendly and helped me find what I needed. I love being able to just run up the road to get what I need instead of taking a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot. When I was trying to make a repair in my bathroom, the gentleman who helped me listened to what my problem was before speaking and found the parts I needed right away. The guys that work back where the keys are made are hilarious. I would recommend this hardware store to anyone who needs to get in and out fast with the correct parts for any project.

This is the last time I will go to a local hardware store for paint. I specifically asked the person at the paint department for a gallon of Benjamin Moore Satin sheen. I didn't notice until after I checked out that she gave me eggshell sheen. I went back to the paint department to point out that she gave me the wrong paint. She said that it was the same as satin and you could not tell the difference. After applying to my wall at home the finish is closer to flat than satin.I specifically wanted satin sheen for the durability in my kitchen. Now I am stuck with a gallon of paint that is non-refundable because it is a custom color.Thank Lambertville Hardware, I guess it's off to Sherwin Williams.

When I retired and came back to Bedford, I was so glad to see Lambertville Hardware was still open!They have excellent service and quality material. Great customer service! The staff approached us and asked if we needed help finding anything. Then actually walked us to the area didn't just point to where we needed to go. They always seem to have actually what we need!
