Unfortunately, this location has gone downhill. When I shop at this store, I leave feeling frustrated because they are constantly out of items and brand selection is limited (this wasn’t always the case). Plus, the self check-out situation is a ridiculous cluster. This is so disappointing because I live less than 2 miles away and it was nice (for a while) having a quality grocery store nearby. I have found another store across town that is well stocked, has a good variety, and actual check out lanes!

Horrible! Self checkout is a joke. stand there and scan $200 worth of groceries on your own. The conveyor belt stops after so much on it freezes up the machine stops . can’t ring no more up, nowhere to put the groceries at you rang up. Lord knows you’re worried about putting it in your cart. You look like a thief because you got more groceries in there still to be rung up. Ask the worker that standing there with her arms crossed talking to another worker .And I get the roll of the eyes from her, She said put it in your cart With the rude attitude. I said , Don’t get rude to me with the eye roll .I’m doing your job! Then she stand there and wait till she’s good and ready to unfreeze the screen to do the rest of order .I can’t do Clicklist last time I did that they sent my groceries home with somebody and asked me to sit there and wait until they bring it back To the store for me to take I said hell no I don’t want it. Besides, I think that’s illegal for you to give it to me after it went to somebody else’s home. I’m done with the store. Why can’t we have a Meijer out here?

No baskets or carts in the store, it's layout makes it impossible to even exit the building. Managers will stalk you around the store if you're out of state

Again, I've arrived to return some bottles and the return is closed. This is absolutely ridiculous, if you can't staff or provide the service when advertised. DON'T OFFER IT AT ALL. I shop for groceries at Kroger but the lack of professionalism when operating something as simple as this, makes me want to spend my money elsewhere entirely.

They offer bottle return, but very few machines and only open till 4pm. It has been nothing but a hassle to return a bag of cans for recycling. The place is always slammed and not even worth the time to drive over here. Horrible experience.

This is a very large Kroger store that has a large clothing, shoe and home goods selection in addition to groceries. The store is clean and the shelves are well stocked. There are plenty of helpful workers.

Kroger Marketplace is my go to destination for my weekly shopping especially because they carry Boar’s Head brand cheeses and meats. Another surefire purchase is from the fresh seafood section. If you have a hankering for salmon, codfish, or crab legs, for example, then Kroger should be your primary grocery shopping destination as well. Kroger‘s rewards program is user-friendly, and I certainly enjoy the discounts that I receive at the gas pump. I usually shop at the Maumee store on Conant. However, last night I visited the Kroger in Lambertville. I was not disappointed.I began my affair with Kroger back in the early 1960’s… at the Southland shopping center on Byrne Road and Glendale, where I would shop with my mom and dad. There was a Foodtown in the same complex…in which we never tread. Thank you, Kroger, for feeding my family for 60 years!

the store is no longer clean and the services provided have been drastically cut back. bottle returns close at 6pm due to short staff but everywhere you look there are employees standing around doing nothing

check the "on sale" signs for digital coupon required. Yes its in the very small letters at the bottom of the sign. Why screw with people? Im sure alot of people like myself didnt notice the fine details.

The guality of your dry goods,meat and produce is poor to bad. there seems do be no effort for customer care and prices go up on a regular basis. Sale items are from old stock not sold previously. STALE CEREAL,BAD LETTUCE (BROWN). The manager and corporate should be ashamed.

415 pm on a Saturday. 1 lane open only. Line is over 10 people. Self check out doesn't work and no one wants to use it. To many errors and I did not go to a store to bag and load my own cart. Workers everywhere yet no one can open another lane.

More registers taken out to replace with self checkouts. Only like 3 employees working the whole front. The other night I was there and I counted 16 registers total and only two really young girls running around to try and tame 5 registers that needed assistance at one time.With every visit, it’s more and more turning into episodes of “black mirror” and this isn’t totally a fault of this store alone, it’s happening at almost all their locations

This place has really gone downhills if this place is busy except for an additional 30 minutes or 1 hour just because they don't want to hire more people. Forget coming here at night to the staff is even worse

A couple days ago I bought strawberries through U-scan. They rang up 3.49 and were on sale for 1.77. The clerk fixed it and I asked about scan right guarantee. She stated "Don't know anything about that." I found that odd being a cashier. It was not a digital item. I just ran in to get milk this evening and went to the service desk and asked again about it. I want to know how it works. The young girl stated there is nothing I can do for you and was put out and stated the U-scan people don't handle that and since it was digital, which it wasn't, it was already fixed. I truly believe people don't want to do their jobs. In Ohio the U-scans have a button for scan rite guarantee. I know its different in Michigan. I wasn't asking for a freebie of any kind. I want to know how it works in Michigan. I am a Michigan resident. The manager could not be found and I made an effort at the seafood department. The seafood department did make an effort to look in the break room. They could not page. I found that odd. No manager. I did not want my milk to get warm. I left. I did walk around a bit looking for a Cheryl name tag. I am looking for information about scan rite guarantee in Michigan. Two days practically in a row dealing with uneducated clerks. I will shop at Ohio Kroger. They know how to do their jobs and are a lot nicer. Just sayin.

Its crazy that I have to find a different regular grocery store, considering kroger is one mile from my house, but I guess I have to make the drive to somewhere else. Now that they have apparently fully integrated self scan checkouts, they've changed them to being nigh unusable. The new belt style checkout that they replaced half of a dozen regular checkouts with are ridiculous and just increase the wait time to be able to leave. The rest of them are also insane and you have to wait 5 or more entire minutes for the self checkout clerk to even look up from their conversations to realize they need to fix the machine. Which need attention about every 2 minutes leading to every person in the self checkout all looking at one another because they're all stuck waiting for an employee. All of that I could begrudgingly stand, but today I was accused of stealing something by the computer, because it took me too long to figure out where the bar code was on a box. So I had to wait around for the clerk to go through my bags and decide I didn't do anything wrong even though on the camera replay it was obvious that I was turning over the box looking for the car code. I am absolutely furious. Never again will I darken their doorstep. I will make the 20-minute drive to anywhere else before setting foot there again, its the worst customer experience I have ever had.

Been shopping here since the store’s opening and I have always had a positive experience. Lately, I’ve grown very frustrated with the self checkout and limited assistance from staff…not that they are not around, there are just so few of them that the wait is long. Self check out would not be an issue if the powers that be put some thought into its operation. In the Midwest, the Hyvee chain has their self checkout spot on and it’s very user friendly.

I wish to give them a zero star if there is a zero. I frequently shop things here. But, their manager, was unpleasant to me today when I went shopping there. I overheard him raged at the workers and questioning the employee for letting me get some amounts of veggies and purchase excessive quantities of onions and other vegetables. It wasn't even a lot! He was much more concerned with filling the area than with making his customers satisfied. I'm sure the store would perform much better without him.Very disappointed!You can do better and treat everyone (race) equally!

They cancelled my pick up order ONE HOUR before it was scheduled to be picked up. They told me I could pick it up the next day. The person I spoke with was very rude. I will never schedule a pick up order at this Kroger. Nor will I ever go into the store to shop. I will go elsewhere. If you are short staffed, then don't have available time slots for people to pick up their groceries. Some of us have come to depend on pick up orders and do appreciate the time and hard work that is put into gathering customer's orders together. Some of us pick certain times to pick up orders because that is what is convenient for us, the customers. Most of the time I am unable to change when I pick up my order because of my own schedule. I felt as though more could have been done about my situation but the employee could have cared less. No apologies were given, but just informed me to complain to their corporate office because they are short staffed and are unable to fulfill all of the orders that were placed.

Really awesome how you have 5 people trying to keep self check running instead of running the actual cashier stations. Took 15mins to check out 10 items and the employees had to assist at least 5 times due to belt stopping, not accepting id or my card or payment or for the amount being over $100, etc

Absolutely ridiculous! I was doing a double instacart order and asked the cashier and the bagger to tie the second orders bags, to keep the orders separated and the bagger continued mixing the orders (even though they were two separate orders) completely disregarded what i asked politely for him to do. Therefor some of the first orders items went to the second orders house. I checked most of the bags but it is very complicated to make sure each person has all of their 30 items when the employee mixed EVERYTHING together.

Why are the prices so high if I have to check myself out? I don't shop here it take 40 minutes to check out and can't do grocery pickup because meat times was with vegetables. Finding alternatives.

This is a store I visit often and typically find what I’m looking for and for decent prices especially with sales and coupons. However, I can’t emphasize enough how horrible this place is when it comes to returning bottles. Their bottle room hours vary and in some cases shut down for an entire day or more (even non-holiday related days). Not to mention the typical employee’s treatment of the people whom return bottles is worse than anywhere I’ve ever been in Michigan. Unfortunately they’re a popular spot for returning bottles purchased in Ohio because of how close they are to Toledo so they have basically grown to resent bottle returns and the people that come to return them. This is also reflected in how often the bottle machines stop due to a jam or are full and nobody comes to service them for very long periods. I’m sure I’ll be a customer at this location for a long time to come but until they sort out they’re bottle return room, they’ll remain the worse Kroger I’ve ever been to.

Products have been in a different place every time I’ve been to this location in the last six months, but the general product organization has made no sense for much longer than that. There’s things next to each other that shouldn’t be, and things that go together scattered across the store. There’s also in-aisle signs that don’t match the items below them. Coming here makes grocery shopping take twice as long.
