Visited for the first time yesterday and found out they’re open year round! It’s tucked away in a quaint location in historic Lambertville. Excellent service, good selection of simple eats, soft serve ice cream, sundaes, flurries, frozen yogurt, milkshakes, slushies and more with lots of toppings and flavors to choose from. Great prices with big portions and they take cash and card. Love it so far and planning on many more trips!

Just found this little gem in Lambertville. We had chili dogs n fries (like fair fries!!) Very good. We WILL be back. Can't wait to try the icecream.

I've been here twice in the last two months. I order hot fudge and raspberry sundae. Fast, friendly and fully delicious.I wish for ice cream and settle for soft freeze.

☹️😝The HOT DOGS taste like they were thrown in a pan of water at 10 AM and I just ordered my dog at 5:30PM! 😝Shrunk, dried, tasteless hot dogs! ☹️Owners tell the workers how to cook the dogs! Otherwise everything else is good! 😃

From recent reviews it sounds like maybe the owner's daughter needs some customer service training.I was a customer from out of town, there in the middle of a weekday. I had no problems with service, but I have some suggestions for making the restaurant more welcoming to first-timers. With no one else there, I wondered if it was open. There is a small neon "Open" sign, but it was not turned on. I had found it on google maps looking for restaurants, but from the road it looked like it was not open.I drove in anyway. Parking is in the back, and it wasn't clear where the entrance is. There is a switchback ramp to a side door, but it didn't look to me like that was a way to go in, so I continued walking to the front. That is where there are walk up windows, but again if I hadn't seen someone inside I would have thought it was closed.Service was unremarkable. Not rude; not particularly friendly. I would recommend better signage and employing staff who enjoy working there and and interacting with customers. (When they become available; I understand that's difficult right now).

It's a nice quaint place with outdoor seating, and great options for a quick bite to eat. They have the best fresh cut french fries you can get!

The prices are really good compared to similar ice cream shops and they have a lot of options on the menu. They portion sizes are really good too. The workers were friendly and efficiently kept the line moving. The taste of the ice cream is what kept me from giving 5 stars. It was not bad, it just was not very good

The ladies at the window were helpful and explained to me all that was in my turtle sundae. I ordered the coney islands and I did not care for them. But, the turtle ice cream sundae was great. I even bought my husband something (ice cream) and took it home to him. He really liked it. Thank you for great service!!

Today I witnessed one of the worst customer service situation I’ve been in. A 75-year-old lady asked for a reese’s pieces flurry. When it came out it was a flurry with pieces of Reese‘s peanut butter cup in it. The lady came back and explained that she doesn’t eat chocolate and Reese’s pieces doesn’t have chocolate. The young lady behind the counter didn’t understand right away what Reese’s pieces were. I helped explain it. The lady asked if she could have something different and the young lady at the register said yes but you’d have to pay for it. The 75-year-old woman walked away and said she couldn’t eat it and didn’t think she should pay for two items. I then pursued the conversation and said that she certainly didn’t mean pay for the whole thing but the difference in price. I was wrong the young lady behind the counter said she needs to pay for both items because it was not her mistake it was the 75-year-old woman’s mistake and that’s the policy of the owner. I asked for the owners phone number and the young woman said I’m the daughter of the owner and would not give me her father‘s phone number. I will not be frequenting this place until I get a reply that helps me understand this policy. Many people witnessed the encounter and were equally concerned.

Go to purple penguin instead!! This place has Rude employees. They had a line outfront at one window with at least 3 to 4 employees. Never opened the second window but instead one employee signals to the person last inline to come inside. So we followed since there taking orders inside too. Gives them their ice cream "oh because there "regulars"... girl employee walks away then about 5 minutes later comes back with an excuse saying there only taking orders at outside window. Um what?? We left and will never be back. I don't ever do reviews but I work in customer service and you don't ever tell one customer to come in and if another customer follows into that line you ring them out. You started a 2nd "line" you can't be a certain way with one customer then treat another in a rude way just because you don't want to. Ive never seen such poor customer service as I do when I go to this place. From last season to this spring the service hasn't changed. The employees give a bigger attitude when the entire softball team goes after a game too. If you can't even put on a fake smile and lose the teenage attitude when it's apart of your job then I suggest getting a different job.

Staff was nice, but I ordered a large peanut butter sundae with extra peanut butter and I got maybe a tablespoon of peanut butter first off. Second, it looked delicious but once I got through the top inch, there was absolutely NOTHING except plain vanilla ice cream. So I paid $5.00 for basically nothing

***EDIT: Look at both the positive and negative reviews. Owners clearly don't care about the customer. No thanks for praises, no apology for criticism. Don't take me at my word, let the silence on Arctic Cafe's part show you how much they care.***Sign next to window "food closes at 9" they must mean am because I'm here at 730 pm and they tell me kitchen is closed. I point out the sign and all the girl says is oh. Ice cream was alright, a little expensive but whatever. I can't abide poor customer service or lying though. Either the worker lied or the signage did. Either way I won't be back.

Great place to get ice cream. They layer there sundaes so you always have toppings. You can eat inside also when it's cold is a bonus. 😁

Great hot dogs and slushes. The girl that helped us was so friendly. Gnats in straw and napkin area, probable couldn't be helped. Will return very soon!!!!
