This Walmart is pretty good. There is usually always open registers. There are ample self checkout lanes at both sides of the store. The stock is good, rarely are they completely out of something I need.Even when I stop by at 2 minutes to closing the Pharmacy would check me out like usual. They get a little confused about who the drugs are for (why would a 9 year old need this much anxiety medication) when I first transfer the prescription (it's for my dog), but once they understand I never have to explain it again (dogs require a much higher dose than people).Being Up North they get busier Fri-Sun, so I try to go during the week, much quieter.The only downside of this store is the arraignment. I've been to many Walmarts and this layout seems unique. There are a few peculiarities to where stuff is located, and every year there is some department that has moved somewhere else in the store. It's not a huge deal, normally a little wondering around and I can find what I'm looking for. But there are times I have to ask someone where stuff is now.The people are nice, the store is clean and overall it's a great store for Houghton Lake.

every Wednesday for the last several months Ive gotten a two week refill of a prescription, unless Heather is managing the script. She always has an attitude and is never professional about it. The ONLY time things are not consistent is when she is there.

Place is so unorganized ! Their system will send you a message sayin you have a prescription ready.. go to pick it up... and pretty much called me a liar..had to show them message..and then ohhh it's right here😡 another time came to pick up my dads scripts ...tell me they were never called in..call doctor office..to find out they were called in...and he had 6 ready!! Seriously worst pharmacy EVER! Thought b more convenient to go there so I could shop ..but it's been nothing but a headache.. .n problems
