I saw there were a bunch of low reviews but when I actually went in I talked to the nicest and most helpful staff at the pharmacy who took extra time to help me understand my medication and billing and get me the best payment option. (Thanks Madison!) That and the cashier was also super nice and funny.

Why the F do you allow us to book Covid test online at this store yet they don't actually do the test at the store?!? Wasted my damn time and infected many people in the process.The apocalypse is your fault. Staff was polite which is why I cared to even give a star, still the lowest rating 'cause damn Rite-Aid!

The store itself is fine - a typical rite aid. I’m giving 2 stars for the pharmacist. The other pharmacy employees are great but the female pharmacist is rude. She doesn’t look at you when she’s talking, she gives short one word answers and never smiles. I’ve had multiple interactions with her and work in the medical field myself. I understand maybe there are staffing issues or whatever but that doesn’t allow someone to be rude to consumers/patients. I don’t know if additional training will help - it may just be her overall demeanor and attitude that is disappointing.

The store was dirty. When I told the Mgr that the floors looked like they hadn't been swept in weeks, she said Rite Aid (the company) canceled the cleaning contract. It shows.Also, the glass door coolers have been out of service for a long time.Fix it, or sell it to Walgreens.

I went to this Rite Aid for my COVID booster. I had scheduled an appointment for my shot. When I arrived I was the only person at the pharmacy counter and I still had to wait 15 minutes. The person who gave me my shot was extremely rude and abrupt. I tried asking a question and she would interrupt me. I have never had a shot hurt so much and now 4 days later, the area where I received the vaccine is still tender to touch. I will never ever go back there!

What a horrible experience! Rude, unhelpful and unfriendly people. The pharmacist that was working on Saturday, July 30 (around 2 ish) is THE WORST!! Such a sad human being. Unfortunately this has not been my first bad experience at this location, which is unfortunate because I live in Spring Lake.On a positive note, the pharmacist on Henry St. (Victoria) is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! So helpful and empathetic.

This pharmacy is the worst we've ever used. They must hire the most unfriendly people they can find. Crossing the bridge for our meds is sounding better and better!! I truly dread going there to pick up prescriptions.....sad!! One would think that those working there would read the reviews and wake up. Better yet, corporate office should get rid of them all and start over!

There are a few negative reviews here and thought I'd maybe counter this with some positivity. I've been coming here for years with no negative experiences and was able to successfully complete my agenda for coming here. A family of 5 using the pharmacy regularly and they've always been helpful and kind to me.

11/28/2022Mind numbing experience out of body experience dealing with the pharmacy. Dr Calls Script in, pick up in pm.Go for retrieval, out of stock. "sorry, we don't have that after all. we will order and have for you-tomorrow."Go for retrieval, out of stock. "Not delivered, maybe tomorrow. Who knows?"Have spent a zillion dollars at that "neighborhood" store buying local shopping local. The indifference at the situation was staggering. "oh well, guess you can call around for what you had your dr. call here to prescribe"..I'm dumbfounded how the seeming organization entrusted to coordinate life saving medicines can be so cavalier with their disregard for their customer base. On life and death issues like medicines? Wow. Caveat Emptor for sure!

Asked if they had a particular over the counter med. Was told I needed to speak to the pharmacist who was on the phone. Was asked to wait. I then heard the pharmacist SCREAM that she was on lunch break. I decided to go to another store. On my way out I heard one cashier belittling another for an error. Seems like a toxic environment that lacks professionalism. Won’t be back

Made multiple trips here to pick up a prescription that my Dr's office confirmed was accepted from this pharmacy, but was then informed upon pickup that I would have to wait an hour, when it should of been ready after the first attempt to pickup. The pharmaceutical team are dull and unfriendly and make up every excuse you can think of. Go elsewhere!

Really disappointing. Tried to get a prescription filled. Was told it'd be 45 minutes, too long to wait so we said to fill it and we'd return the following day. Returned the following day only to be told it was never filled and we'd have to wait 20 minutes for it. So we had to leave again and come back a third time for the single prescription. Pretty simple thing for a store that's mostly a pharmacy to expect them to fill a prescription for you.Then when checking out, an old man almost ran us down with a cart, then cut in line and several more people just went to pay. As a former cashier myself, part of the job should be to maintain order and make sure people are not causing problems for the nice patient customers.Other than that, it's usually not this bad. The goods are convenience items and thus all the snacks and such are fairly over priced. They've had good sales though to make up for it.

Had a prescription written for a certain amount per refill, was given 1/10th that amount and the script printed on the container was wrong. Was given needles for the medication but no syringes in the same visit. When I called back and tried to get the proper amount for the refill they refused to acknowledge that issue and instead diverted into talking about another issue on the amount of refills. Overall did not address my actual needs and concerns and instead tried to cover themselves for not filling the prescription as the doctor actually wrote on the script.

Warning!!!! Do not use this pharmacy! Numerous times have they not not had one of the most popular controlled substances in America. They say say they’ll have it the next day and I waited until the next week before they finally got it. And while waiting on them to fill it I overhear the pharmacist telling a senior citizen they didn’t have his medication either. He had to drive two hours to get it from a rite aid that actually had it.

I tried using wrong aid as my pharmacy. Staff was rude when I asked a question. I called corporate and they made excuses for the staffs behavior at the sprung lake store. I quit wrong aid. I'm a happy meijer fan now.

I was told they couldn’t do walk in flu vaccines because they were short staff. I guess hospitals should turn patients away because they are short staff with that logic. Not to mention they did not look busy.

Lazy pharmacists that don’t take care of situations for customers. They just tell you they didnt do anything and expect you to figure it out instead. Dont waste your time here and drive the extra 5 min and go to Walgreens.
