Great staff. Lots of cute pets to look at. They do not have a machine for pet tags, however they have ridiculously cute ones that you can order. They look like Michigan driver's license with a picture and are lifetime guarantee.

I will definitely come back here. We delt with Packy herself and you can see the passion she carries when you walk in and you can feel it as u talk to her. Definitely a drive I'll make once or twice a month. Helpful polite small business feel. All around excellent experience

I am always iffy about pet shops because most pet shops don't care for their animals like they should however I have bought twice from Packys now. About 2 years ago I purchased my hairless rat and today I purchased 2 Guinea pigs. The Guinea pigs are going to be class pets in my husband's classroom this next school year. I am very happy with all 3 little men I have got from Packys and will definitely be back in the future.

I’m not a local, but this is an awesome and clean pet supplies store. The associate gave great advice for a first time puppy owner. I’ll be back for any other needs if I’m ever back around houghton lake.

This place is one of the better pet stores in the area. They have a good selection of per supplies as well as many desirable pets. While I have never purchased a pet from here yet, I do come here for my feeder mice and they always deliver with a fair prices for the going rates. Whether it be supplies, feeders, or a new pet and you live in the Houghton Lake area then this is the place to go.

Very dissatisfied!! Hired Packey to clean a fish tank. She did not do the job, charged me nearly $500 and left it in terrible condition. I would avoid at all cost!!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I bought a dog vest (used and by the owners dog) I was desperate for my freezing foster dog. When I got it home I couldn’t get it zipped, it kept catching in the material, probably why she decided to sell it used at a “deep” discount. She said I couldn’t return it, even though my dog didn’t use it for health reasons, but her dog wore it and she sold it again. Any reputable pet store will let you return dog coats, especially when they don’t work.This woman is a money grubbing nut case. Everything in the store is overpriced. I should have driven another 30 miles and gone to Gaylord. She will never get my business again. Poor business practices.

LOVELY EXPERIENCE! Super informative and helpful. SUPER CLEAN. One of my biggest things with pet shops is cleanliness of cages, tanks, or in genera. This place has changed my pet shopping forever. I put them #1 on my list and I refuse to go anywhere else! They had such a wonderful selection as well. Wide variety of fish. Great looking reptiles. I was assisted with the purchase of a Crested Gecko baby, tank, Guppys, Golden Mountain Cloud & Mollie fish. & I couldn't have asked for any more from the helpful peeps. They were so nice. Answered all my questions simply and knew what they were talking about! You can't get that at any corporate pet shop! Don't think twice about stopping here!

Went in today to get crickets for my daughter’s leopard gecko. I spoke with who I assume was the owner and he was so kind and non-judgemental about possible dietary misinformation that I learned from a large pet store chain. He gave us his card for questions anytime. I left more confident about my gecko’s diet. I will be back for both those supplies and my dog’s future needs. The attitude he had absolutely makes the world of difference. Highly recommend.

We love Packy, she’s not only knowledgeable but she’s a good hearted woman who cares deeply about animals and does everything she can to rescue on her own money and time and for our community. We buy all our cat towers there and anything else we may need. We got our beagle from Packy and we love her so much, her name is Jasmine. Packy has brought so much to our quaint little town. This weekend, I went to the store JUST to look around and ended up buying my first ball python! This hatchling is the prettiest and the staff was so friendly and honest! I loved every second :) I will most definitely come back for anything my snake needs, because I know I'll be in good hands. And I've already recommended this place to others! Thank you so much for making my experience so much better than I anticipated.

Packy’s pet supply IS the best...without question. Pets are so much more than just pets to us and Packy’s really understands this concept. They are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The store is clean, tanks and enclosures are clean, the animals are so well cared for. They are very compassionate and go far beyond the normal customer service. I feel more like family when I’m there (I’m not related in any way). I will not go anywhere else. I really miss their boarding services. My dogs were so well cared for and I felt so safe having them there. I have tried so many other boarding kennels and none of them could hold a candle to Packy’s. Even if I lived downstate, I would drive the extra 4 or 5 hours north to go to Packy’s for all my pet care needs.

Immediately they jumped in to help and take me around the store getting exactly what I needed, as well as giving recommendations for what to do at home since she is still too young for certain pet supplies. I absolutely love the professionalism of this business! They have wonderful knowledge on proper animal care compared to bigger companies who may simply push sales rather than ensure animal health and safety. They have more answers than I would've imagined, and if the workers are unsure, they are willing to double check and get right back to you. So overpriced it is cheaper to drive an hour to buy the same products. Spent 150$ on fish and did not get the correct fish which didnt matter because they all died within a month. I have many other fish from other stores in my tank with no problems. There is no return policy and the owner has a serious attitude when asked. I spent over 1000$ in three days there and I regret every dollar. It is a longer drive but pet supplies plus is way better and they know what they are doing.
