We're here for a two week visit. The park is nice, quiet, and clean! The owners are very friendly and responsive!! The landscaping is beautiful!! There's a lake for fishing a swimming!! Also, they have cleared walking paths in the woods!Although we're not far from Hwy 94, we really feel like we are out in the country! There are other rv parks in the area, but this will definitely be our go-to rv park when we visit from Florida!!

A lovely place for a first-time camper! Low-key, beautiful grounds, pond for fishing and swimming...everything perfect for a quiet get-away. The owners are wonderful people, and very helpful and knowledgeable. We stayed for 5 months and loved every minute. We highly recommend it.

🌈 When things seem to be at their worst, that is when people come together! We were pleasantly surprised with not only the location of this RV park, but mostly with the AMAZING hospitality of the owners of Hideaway RV Park.😇This is our first time in Michigan, and we came here to facilitate a weekend event. We pulled in on Wednesday last week and the BIG storm hit Thursday evening. We were out of electricity and had some trouble with our truck.😅The owners went above and beyond to make sure I made it to the event, and even checked in later with us about our truck. It is refreshing to encounter people who TRULY CARE, even when they've only known you for a few days.💖We will be sure to refer others to this lovely well-kept campground and be sure to share with them about our memorable experience! Thank you Hideaway RV Park 🙏

Very well maintained. Very quiet and friendly. We stayed for one night on our way through. The only two issues I saw was that their free Wi-Fi is only for phones, if you want to connect to stream tv it is an extra free that starts at 4:00$ a night - this is the first place we have stayed at that has done that. Everywhere else when it says free Wi-Fi we know we can stream tv at night. It wasn’t worth paying the extra just so the grandkids could watch something while they settled down for the night. The only other thing that dropped them a star is their pull through sites are very very skinny- our door practically touched our neighbors door so sitting outside relaxing meant you were sitting with your neighbors. And the way the hookups are set up- there is no other choice- there was no way for you and your neighbor to put out their awnings and one picnic table is at right out the door and the other is down by the road so the good table spot is a first come type of deal. Though our neighbor was very nice and we had no territory issues- but again, we pulled in at 2:00 and left at 8:00 the next morning. I can’t see spending more than a day because of the space issue. Other than that- very lovely park.Noteworthy details: Swimming area with play ground and sand toys for kids- fishing area. Catch and release-

What a beautiful park! So well taken care of and friendly. I can’t comment on the wireless or bathrooms because I didn’t use them. They have a washer and dryer and both worked great. Our stay has been 5 nights and I really wish we had planned a much longer stay. There are some seasonal and probably some full timers. All sites are excellent and well maintained. I rarely give a 5 stars but this park is terrific!

Love the quiet. Very peaceful, pet friendly, nicely spaced out! Great little hiking trails, friendly neighbors, shopping near by. Super fun pond and paddle boats. Fishing in the pond is lots of fun: put your pole in, catch a fish! Overall great camping spot, very relaxing. If you're loud and want to party this is not the place for you. If you want beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet, this is the place you're looking for.

Hidden gem is a good description of this park. We’re in town visiting family, so we’re basically just sleeping here (it’s an anniversary, so we’re off taking part in the festivities). Hope we’re back again soon to take advantage of what this campground offers. The paddle boats on the pond sound particularly appealing. Although we seem to be on one of the larger sites, it’s about 2-3 times the size of some that we’ve been on.We’re new to camping (our stays the past two years were exclusively at state parks) and we’ve just started to get the ‘feel’ for various campgrounds. This is definitely a small, family/privately run campground in the best sense of the term. It’s not just maintained, it’s “cared for.” There isn’t someone at the desk 24/7, but they’re always available by phone. Firewood *is* available 24/7, just put the money in the box mounted on the wall. There’s also a larger number of seasonal, or at least longer term, campers than I’ve seen the few other places we’ve been. That just brings a nice atmosphere, I think. The name “Hideaway” really is a good one, too. Interstate 94 has to be only about half a mile from here as the crow flies, but I’m sitting outside the camper at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning and what I hear is mainly the birds in the woods around us.

We have enjoyed our last 3 summers camping at Hideaway and hopefully for many years ahead. The seasonal campers are all very friendly and we enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of all the campers. I especially enjoy walking the 3 beautifully, groomed trails.

We stayed at Hideaway RV Park for a week in July in 2022. We really enjoyed the park. The people here, including the owners, are very laid back, friendly, and accommodating. The pull through sites were very long- plenty long enough to accommodate our 48' fifth wheel with rear patio down, and our F450 disconnected. Utilities worked great. The lake is a great attraction with free paddleboats, a small beach, and a dock for fishing or swimming. There is rarely anyone in the office, but you can call, and they will come if you need something. A few caveats - AT&T and T-Mobile coverage, while present, isn't very strong. Verizon was a bit better, but if you depend on those for Internet, it may be weak. They did install a new wireless system utilizing Starlink, which is available beyond 1Mbps for a fee, but they are still working out the bugs in that system. Speaking of bugs, they have the most aggressive deer flies, specifically, Chrysops vittatus, in the woods. They will attack and bite you en masse if you venture into their territory, so be prepared to run, lol. Fortunately, they generally won't venture near the RV sites, but if you wander into the woods on the trails, be warned. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and it's obvious the owners are investing in this park to keep it nice. A couple of things that they could add that would help even more would be pet waste bags / trash cans, and a fenced in dog run.

We stayed at Hideaway in September, 2020. Owners are fabulous and this RV PARK was just what we were looking for... Quiet, quaint and stress free. There were many year round residents and we spoke with several of them. Tenants were incredibly friendly and helpful with local directions. If you camp to relax, this is your place in southern Michigan. WIFI could be faster, but no other complaints. Thank you for offering so many pull through 50A transient campsites by the way!

Hideaway RV park is a nice, quiet little community of campers. The staff and owners are very friendly. Facilities are clean and well kept. Most campers are seasonal however they are very friendly to newcomers (unlike most seasonal campers at other campgrounds). There is not a lot to do here for kids, just a very small lake and a playground. However it's a great place for simple camping. Daily sites are limited, so be sure to book ahead if possible! Every site is Full Hookup, which is GREAT! Recently they updated their electrical service. Easy access of the highway and to local restaurants too, if you want to dine out.

I agree with others, this place is perfect to relax. It is quiet, but close to attractions and Jackson. If you're looking for fluff, this isn't for you. But if you want a great full hook up site, with very good wifi to unwind for a while then come check it out. We couldn't see the store or other things due to the current orders but I know we would not be unimpressed. Thank you for a great time.

We loved it there. Quiet, peaceful, not next to anything, close enough to everything. Great Owners. Linda was super laid back. Stayed there for 6 weeks.

Friendly staff (especially Linda), quiet atmosphere. Friendly campers.Bathrooms and showers exceptionally clean and neat. Fishing is fun with lots of bluegills and bass (which are harder to catch) !!! It's going to be our favorite place to camp !!!

We love it here!! Quiet peaceful and clean!! Most sites are grassy and that makes for cleaner RV. Not a lot for kids but that is why we come for ourselves and not bring grandkids! Linda in the office is extremely friendly and helpful. We will continue coming here always a pleasant getaway!!

Super nice owners. Very pleasant people everywhere camping there. The owner went out of her way for my little girl’s 4th birthday. So kind and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this campground :)

Great, quiet, small campground! Full hookup. Staff very friendly, stopped by after check-in to see if we needed anything. Rained a lot one night, we went out for breakfast and saw they graded and smoothed out the entrance way by the time we came back. These little things mean a lot to us.

Beautiful setting, my only complaint is that it is right off of I94 so it is a bit loud when you are outside ($36/night seems steep), but we could still hear the bugs and birds when we had our fire. Not a lot of RV parks around here have sewar at site so that is nice. Some seasonals, some weekenders. Washer, dryer, showers, bathrooms, free coffee in the morning and a little book nook, my favorite part is the walking trails - I never saw anyone out there but a lot of nice flora. We like the relaxed and quiet atmosphere, nothing crazy is happening. A little pond you can take their paddleboat out on, spaces are decent size with firepit, picnic table, concrete slab. The loop is nice since behind you is only wooded areas, but they have some large pull through spots as well. Very quiet and calm, wouldn't recommend for families with young kids but we (mid 20s) love it.

This place is a hidden gem. Very well maintained facility. The staff is very friendly. ( They even made coffee for me ) My only regret, is I did not have the time to stay longer than one night. Not many RV parks like this left out there.
