Always have a good experience at any of the Brooklyn Bagels locations. The bagels are truly the only real option for a real bagel in Muskegon. No one comes close. They have many different flavors of bagels, some that can change seasonally too. The cream cheeses are always made fresh and are delicious. I like everything offered on the menu. Including the hot and cold coffee beverages, the sandwiches - breakfast or lunch. You really just can't go wrong. Just be prepared to eat. The bagels are the size of your face and they don't skimp on the cream cheese either!!

We’ve been in SL for a while and decided to finally give this place as a shot. We ordered online and were extremely disappointed on arrival. Walking in a lady at the front stormed out because she had been waiting so long without service. My boyfriend went to grab our order and noticed are smoothie was missing, he had to wait a long time before seeing any staff and then someone finally walked by and he let her know about the smoothie. To which she completely ignored him, went to the the freezer with a dirty look and then put it on the opposite counter he was at and stormed back to the back without a word. Both of our breakfast sandwiches were cold and not toasted even though we had both selected toasted. They also don’t have bacon, just bacon bits. That normally wouldn’t be an issue for us because we’re not too nit picky but the staff being DISGUSTINGLY rude is what is causing this place to lose our business in the future. The fact that I see multiple reviews of rude staff and no changed behavior tells me there is also a problem with management. If you’re thinking about going here, don’t waste your time. Go to biggby where the staff is extremely friendly all the time.

So good I had to tear into the paper 🤑🤑. Very nice employees and clean establishment. Will definitely come back in if I need an affordable breakfast in the future. The bagel sandwich was only around $7.50 dollars I think.

Brooklyn Bagels has done a great job catering for us on two occasions, including on short notice and despite several other catering commitments. The bagels, muffins, and coffee are great, the packaging is smart and minimal, and the service in Spring Lake is unfailingly excellent. Thank you for making our special occasions brighter.

Clean place, friendly staff, and meh bagels. I just don’t get this place. I’ve tried it for breakfast twice and was disappointed both times. The bagels were fine, but the breakfast sandwiches not so much. Instead of bacon they use salty processed bacon bits you find in a pouch. Don’t bother with the pretzel bagel either. It has the look but not the flavor.

We ate here for the first time today. We had a nitro cold brew. Bagel sandwich and bagel with cream cheese. The seating area is nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the food and nitro coffee were delicious. This is a nice casual addition to Spring Lake. Will be back for take out and the occasional eat in too.

I go there in the morning on my way to work and my go to is an Everything bagel with cheddar bacon cream cheese and let me tell you, they do not skimp on the cream cheese! It's so big I eat half of it on my way to work and half at lunch with some potato chips. I've heard the jalapeno cheddar is awesome too but I'm not big into hot stuff. I've gotten their plain coffee a few times and it's not my favorite... But that's not why I go there.I've only done drive thru and it's not as fast as a mc Donald's but I don't mind the wait. I'd say between 3 and 5 min. The people are always nice and friendly and wish me a good day.

Visiting parents for the holiday season and this place just opened up, expanding from the Muskegon area. Full cafe, with drive thru and a conference room (interesting). It was really busy during the lunch hour.I've lived in NJ where bagels are a religion. here I ordered the breakfast sandwich on asiago, no meat, + veggies, spicy garlic cream cheese. The boil and bake is really nice, my asiago was maybe a little underprooved but my parents cinnamom raisin looked excellent. Interior soft and spongy, firm exteriors, no blisters, and good structure, easy to hold. Sandwich wasnt sloppy or drippy, the egg was nice. Sorry no photo of the bagel but I just dove in.I wish the cheese on my asiago was a little sharper and my cream cheese was just a "schmear", but my parents had a more generous amount (when u get just a bagel and cream cheese). The value is good overall honestly but I can imagine some people turning their nose up around here at the price (3.20 for bagel and cream cheese). That's just West Michiganders though. I hope this place does well, Spring Lake needs something like this. Suspiciously, I overheard that "the Henry St (muskegon) one is the best" on the way out, oh well. Still won't find bagels this good west of Ann Arbor.

Brooklyn bagels is a step above the rest, they’ll beat any place (Panera) in a food tasting test! Coffee, muffins and of course bagels with cream cheese, their lovely staff is always working to please! Grab a Bomber sandwich, take a sip of of that bean juice, go anywhere else and I’m sure you’ll have a lame excuse! Whatcha gonna do Bruther, when Brooklyn Bagels runs wild on you!?!

Pretty expensive sandwiches, until you get one in your hands.. Then you realize you didn't over pay, you got more than you bargained for. They are giant! The bagels aren't that great though, they are sub par, dry and crumbly. The cheese has that very thick factory feel and taste to it. All the meat has that chain processed taste and look to it. The sauces are pretty good. The eggs look like they come from a carton. I've had better, I've had worse, the portions are too big. I'd rather just get a much smaller McMuffin to be honest. We ordered at the drive up, sign said they were understaffed, with that being said, they took our order and then we sat at the pay window for between 5-10 minutes before anyone was seen through the window.

Very friendly servers. Yummy lox sandwich. Coffee a bit insipid but you come for the bagels. A nice stop on a long drive.

Very good bagels! Coffee is good too. They have really worked hard to speed up the drive through so you don't lose time getting to work. Highly recommended for coffee and a bagel.

This place isn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination… I just think it’s a little disingenuous to call themselves Brooklyn Bagels when they are absolutely not New York style bagels. Just call it West Michigan Bagel Co or Big Ol Bagels or something. The size of the bagels here is remarkable - which makes it a fun novelty and good value - but also confirms that they aren’t really New-York-like. They also lack the blisteriness, shininess, subtle tanginess and crunchy exterior of a New York bagel. Again, their bagels are not bad at all, they’re very good - it just bothers me that the name of the place implies you’re getting a NY style bagel. They have a lot of flavors, but often on weekends we like to make a list the night before of bagels each person in the house wants so that the first person to wake up in the morning can go pick some up. I often try to look at their website to tell our guests what flavors they have to choose from, only to be reminded each time that they don’t list the flavors anywhere on the site. The service seems friendly and they place is very clean and nicely renovated. I wouldn’t go so far as to call this place slow, but it’s certainly not fast, so if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t the best spot. As a result, parking/navigating the parking lot can get awkward because of the drive-thru line. Overall a very great addition to the community and I look forward to consuming many more of their ginormous bagels!

After seeing all of the comments regarding friendly staff I’m concerned. When I paid the lady didn’t look at me or speak. She had a complete scowl the entire time. I don’t even feel comfortable eating or drinking my purchases as I don’t trust that it was handled properly based on her rude demeanor. I will never return or recommend. I may not look like others in the Spring Lake area. I’d hope that wasn’t the reason. My first and last visit there sadly.

The workers here are awesome! Glad we came! The muffins are to die for. The blueberry muffin was heavenly. The bagel sandwiches were great too! Love the pizza bagel. It pairs well with the jalapeno cream cheese. The breakfast bagel was great! I love their homemade bagel chips! The snickers mocha coffee was great! They make biscuits for dogs here! Definitely come and support this awesome business. I also had the chicken bagel sandwich! I loved everything here. They have been open for a year now. Glad we bumped into it and will be coming back when I'm in the area

We love the sandwiches here.... When we can actually get them. More times than not we have come to the drive through (in the morning) and have been told they are all out of bagels for the day. How on earth do you run a bagel business and not have bagels?? Yesterday was the 6th and final straw. Not a single bagel in this place again. I asked what on earth they served and was told "drinks". Why are you even open? Giving 2 stars only because the staff is super friendly. And the sandwiches are pretty tasty when they actually have food. Also make sure you always check your order! We've driven away 3 separate times with someone else's order and didn't realize it until we got all the way home! I would totally give 5 stars if the issue of "no bagels" before noon was fixed.

Brooklyn's Bomber was a nice treat compared to the usual chain fare. But make no mistake, this is a chain. That said, the unique pairings of food and (soft) beverages is enticing and we will be back many times in the future.
