The following is all alleged. Maybe it happened, maybe it didn't. Let me go during my probationary period despite only training with the person who fired me for 2 days. During the time she was nasty and rude towards me. The rest of my training was with the night crew for about 5 days who were the greatest people to work with - they were not the problem. I thought things were going well until the pink-haired lady apparently was 'observing' me despite not being there during my other shifts. I just got this job. I was willing to learn and work. And now I've been let go during my training period. The best I can do is share this story. My time working here was not pleasant. That lady in produce was not pleasant. I get the feeling that they are aware of that and that problem needs to be addressed.

Forgot a roll of paper towels at the store after getting groceries earlier in the day and went in with my receipt to see if I could grab another one. I understand it was my fault for leaving it there, but but service attendant did the bare minimum in trying to figure out what happened and forgot the location I told her it happened at twice. It all resolved with her giving me some moral high ground story of not being able to just give out things even though I had the receipt in hand and it definitely would have shown me leaving it here on the security footage. I don’t understand why I couldn’t have just grabbed it, I talked to a clerk in the store who agreed I should’ve just been able to grab it. If you need help with something from the service desk don’t bother.

Wow, only one non self check-out lane! The lines were chaotic at noon on a random weekday. I couldn't imagine a weekend or holiday.

Shopping at Kroger is really the only choice. We don’t have any local independent green grocers and our village leaders don’t seem to care. Instead they are spending 5 million to build a parking lot.

Kroger floral department designed bouquets for my wedding. They were beautiful! Becky assembled them with only directions given over the phone and she did an amazing job! She was also very helpful and provided great customer service. Quality of flowers was at the same level as a fancy florist with much more affordable prices. Highly recommend!

Ordered groceries for pickup and sat waiting for over 30 minutes for groceries to be brought to my vehicle. Arrived in time slot and didn't receive notice about having any issues with staffing.I realize they might be short staffing if that's is the case please provide updated text messages

Waited over three hours for my pick-up I placed online for them to push it back. I ask what what management was doing to help and they said they were not allowed to help because of a clause in the contract they have. I am watching people treat these employees who are working to do what they can beyond poorly. As a company you should be very disappointed in how your employees are being treated. It is not a surprise to me that you are always short handed I wouldn’t want to work for your company either. You should always take care of your people and then they will always take care of you customers.

You can have a fantastic experience if you schedule a pick up when you place an order online. They wheel it out to your car and then you leave. No fuss, no waiting and no lines!👌

I recommend this place if you’d like to go shopping with a wonderful staff at your local Kroger in Lake Orion Michigan the staff would be happy to help you to pick out what you need for your shopping. The curbside is awesome at Lake Orion Kroger the cashiers are awesome at Lake Orion Kroger to management at Lake Orion Kroger or Awesome when you go in to Kroger in Lake Orion, you’ll feel like you’re welcome so if anybody is looking for a good crush a grocery store look at your local Kroger in Lake, Orion, Michigan

Schedule pick up and they will call and reschedule as you are on way. Does not update in pick up order and no saving time having to go in to store to check in for pick up. Unreliable. Just do your own shopping it's less stress

Curly haired short girl at self checkout is one of the rudest people I've ever come across. Like don't work in customer service. You're clearly a miserable person, no need to make others feel that way too. On top of their condescending and belittling employees this kroger is never stocked anymore. CONSTANTLY out of the cheaper of everything. Because people really want to pay $5 for ONE loaf of bread. Their sales are becoming most complicated instead of just saving for being a kroger member and mixing up sales and quantities... it's like they WANT you to mess up and not notice. Despicable location in every way. Bakery is extremely inconsistent as well as the deli. Will not be supporting this Kroger anymore, even though it's convenient.

I am a big fan of Kroger, however, they continue to let me down when ordering for pickup service. The last three times that I have ordered groceries something has gone wrong. Each time I ordered & set the time. Kroger responds back at the last minute to say pickup time is delayed. The second time was the worst when they delayed pickup time and still did not have groceries ready. A supervisor came out to the car and offered a $5.00 refund for the trouble but did not add the refund to my account. When I got my next order and asked about the refund, the employee went nuts claiming it was my fault that the refund was not indicated in their system. I then called the customer service and talked to a manager who also promised to fix the situation and again the poor service saga continues. Not recommended for grocery pickup until they start providing at least basic support for their grocery pickup option. PM

This kroger is BY FAR the worst kroger around. This location is constantly out of stock of many everyday items like bread. The vegetables and fruit are always half rotted. Their sales are always a disaster and im convinced they displace the items on purpose hoping you don't notice when checking out. What a sleezy way to try and make more money. The "cashiers" at the self checkout lanes that are left after putting in even MORE self checkout lanes are completely useless and do nothing to help with anything. You're paying them to literally stand their and do nothing. Imagine working at kroger with a lip ring and blood shot eyes thinking you're the absolute top tier of people on the planet. This kroger has the lowest standards from employees to food. Looking forward to the new meijer opening.

I placed a pick up order. I had to go in to pay due to system error ( I can understand things happen). But you could have called and told me. That’s the point of pick up, not going into the store. Then the Person left my groceries outside instead of bringing them back in. When I asked for the manager the chubby girl thought it was funny and lied and claimed he was the manager. When I complained to the store manager the next day she promised that the manager in charge of pick up will contact me back. Well it’s been about three months now and no one ever said anything. When I mentioned it three weeks ago at the customer service desk. The heavy set woman pretty much raised her voice at me and told me they can’t find anyone to work and are short. I have been shopping at this Kroger for the past 7 years and avoid this particular Krogers as much as I can.

This store is always to busy. The parking isn't big enough. The employees are always friendly. They have great already cooked food. They seem to have everything you might be looking for groceries. I just don't like it is always busy and line's can be long. I really can't find fault. I just don't like crowds.

While I understand the store is going through a remodel, I had a couple of issues. First, it was extremely cold in the store, I don't know how the employees manage to stay warm, but I was wearing a winter coat and still a little chilled. My other issue was there was only one register open and the line was long, I finally gave up and went to U-scan which I hate to do because that takes jobs away, but I only had 3 items....

This is specifically for the employee who worked tonight 12/19/19 and closed the clicklist a little late waiting on me. Thank you. Thank you for going above and beyond to help me out because I left my own job late taking care of my patients. And thank you for being so gracious and kind. Kroger is lucky to have you and I hope you get a little recognition for being a wonderful person. I hope this review finds you and Merry Christmas.

Walked in today to yet another disappointing visit at this kroger. Yet again, I feel remorse for bringing my hard-earned money to a location that is ran this poorly and has this many problems with their u-scans. It is painfully obvious at this point that upper management is trying to inconvenience people enough to where they either do home delivery or curbside pickup. Worse than that, I see employee's trying their best to apologize* for the situation, as if they should even once have to personally apologize for the situation upper management is putting them into. A place as simple as a Kroger used to be a wonderful spot to have a little bit of community gathering while shopping and the current legislation completely ruins that. Easy to see they have no problems inconveniencing the handicapped, and elderly. It is a near total lack of respect for every one of their patrons. Proud people that have worked hard all their lives to survive and see their families do okay are reduced to next to nothing for walking in to this theater where they stage scarcity.

Worst store ever! After standing in front of the deli bar for more than 5 minutes with 4 workers walking around, someone decided to let me know they were closed, finishing their last customer. What do they think I was doing standing there??? Watching them walk around? Then only 2 cashiers open (one closing - checking the last customer). OMG! Terrible service!

While the employees are friendly and helpful, this does not translate to the effectiveness of their pharmacy staff. I have used Kroger Pharmacy for years, in other locations, and, they always followed up if they could not obtain a med or if they only had part of a prescription available. This staff, however, leaves you hanging without calling or texting. I am set up to have a text message when scripts are ready. When they cannot connect with your doctor or get the med, they just drop it. Thankfully, I am able to follow up on my own. But, if i were an elderly person that required a med that was critical to my needs, what then? They really do not care.
