Small town atmosphere. Could use a few updates but overall well kept. A little pricey but I suppose that’s the trade off for not having to make a trip outside of your hometown to grab something last minute or pick up something you may run out of. Convenient location and seem to be well stocked with products.

Friendly down home market. I've been twice. Only complaint is they were out of stock of one of my favorite candies: coconut shaped candies like a Hershey's kiss. Haven't seen those since childhood. I was pretty bummed 2nd time there and they're out. I'll keep checking.

Like the friendly atmosphere. Prices are high everywhere so it is easier to shop where you know everyone and where most items are.

Very convenient, Meat is excellent in both quality n price, staff goes out of their way to be helpful, carry out service is wonderful, especially for those that need it. They try their best to accommodate those with disabilities. Open Early n Close Late which is nice.

The staff was as friendly and helpful. My cashier (I believe her name was Rebecca) made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. I had a lot of questions, because I was in town helping a parent recover from surgery. She was able to give me information such as what times other businesses opened which made my day less stressful. The store was clean and had good lighting. They have child sized carts available if you are bringing a little one along.

Their meat is fresh and I can usually find good deals. You have to watch some of the things you buy because they are over priced. The staff are friendly and they will carry your groceries right out to your car. A lot of places do not do that anymore.

This is a great, small grocery store. It has all of your needs- produce, meats, dairy, dry goods, taxable sundries and frozen foods. It's easy to quickly navigate and find needed items. The store is always clean and well-stocked. I'm so grateful for this amazing grocery store in our tiny village!

The people that work at Carl's are always nice, friendly, and helpful. The meat, dairy, and produce are always fresh. They carry a vast grocery assortment, and they are well stocked with a wide variety of items from medicinals to cleaning supplies.My only complaint is that some items are pricier than you'll find at Walmart/Meijer. But I appreciate Carl's in our community and I try to support it by giving this supermarket my business.

Carl's is trying to survive in this difficult time. They have gone to limited varieties, and are stocking mainly their store brand of products along with unfamiliar brands. I sincerely appreciate that they are still open at all, and shop there when I can.

There is nothing about Carl's Super Market that I don't like. The employees are personable and seem to enjoy their job. They have a good selection, good hours, clean store and best of all, people who bag your groceries and carry them out, on top of that they will not accept any tips for doing so.Someone may say the prices are higher but I disagree, they have specials and even if I pay a high price for some items, I don't have to drive 20 miles, walk around till I am exhausted and either check out myself or get checked out after standing in line for (what seems like) hours.Lake Odessa is very fortunate to have a store like Carl's.

Very small home grown business located in the heart of Lake O. Provides small selection of produce, meats and cheeses. Other varietal supplies from car to home as well. Great place if you need to stock up but cant drive a long distance.Also super organized, friendly staff, and old school car service!

I called up there on Christmas Eve looking for a specific item I couldn't find at two other stores. I was impressed that they took the time to search the shelf to confirm they had the item and also saved for me. Wonderful customer service!

I understand how logistics and supply and demand work so I'm not upset about pricing, I'd rather Meijer and WalMart stay out so they don't kill the town. It's a good store they have pretty much anything you need.

Convenient if you need something quick and do not want to drive to Ionia. Wouldn't recommend for large grocery trips because the prices are higher than normal which is expected for a small town grocery store.Staff is helpful and not unpleasant.

Carl's Market in Lake Odessa, Michigan is the best little grocery store ever...! The food is fresh, store is neat and tidy, the staff is "bend over backwards" friendly polite & helpful ALL the time . They get 7 stars....! 😁

One of the last independent grocery stores. Prices are comparable to Family Fare w/out the rewards card. They will also carry the groceries out and load them in your car. Discounts for seniors on Wednesday.
