The most amazing place you can find.I cannot even fathom someone giving this place less than five stars. You're stepping back in time and enjoying community and everything nature has to offer at this absolutely breathtaking place. If you need your heart to feel full, come here. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle, come here. If you want to read a book by the fireplace or sit on the beach and see the world around you, come here. Once you find this place it's hard not to come back over and over again. Thank you for sharing your treasure with the world.

What's not to love? This is a delightful place to relax or use as a base to go exploring. Our accomodations were a bit rustic but comfortable and clean. The owners worked very hard to make us feel welcome. The view of the islands, the sound of salt free, shark free waves makes it hard to drag yourself away for a dinner trip or to go sightseeing. The shore is filled with palm size rocks for explorers. I'd heartily recommend this place to reconnect with yourself or to have a family reunion.

What a beautiful view and spot for a family vacation. The sunsets are the best I've ever seen. The water level is high so there isn't currently much of a beach and what is available is rocky. I would recommend sturdy flip flops or water shoes. The lodge is family owned and a labor of love, not your cookie cutter corporate resort. As such, the lodge and it's buildings do show their age but are well maintained and comfortable. The kitchenette was stocked, wifi worked well, beds comfortable, and units cleaned. The water is from a well so there is the typical taste of well water but not terrible. We would definitely come again. The owners Greg and Lisa were very welcoming and available if needed.

I loved absolutely everything about this place! Rented the pool hall and it was very big and cozy. Loved having the lake right there and hearing the waves at night. The beach is a rock hunters dream. You can spend hours there taking photos and looking at hundreds of petoskeys and other cool stones. Paddle boards and kayaks for our use. Full kitchen and grill, so bring the groceries and you don’t even have to leave if you don’t mind cooking. It was quiet and relaxing. Centrally located to downtown Leland and enjoying the surrounding area and Leelanau peninsula for wine tasting and other excursions. It was very hard to leave and I’d love to return again!

This is a lovely old guest house that also has a handful of rental house in the same property. We felt immediately at home and the owner and the other employees were very friendly and helpful. Located right on Lake Michigan with gorgeous views out of the windows. The other guests were also friendly and interesting. Lots of activities right in site including kayaks, S.U.P. boards, pedal boat, outdoor ping pong, tennis court, bicycles, and children's outdoor toys and playground. We stayed in a double room in the lodge with a shared bathroom. The only reason for not giving a perfect 5 star rating is we would have liked to have a shared kitchen. But this is probably not feasible for this excellent family run lodge.

Beautiful location, close to Sleeping Bear Dunes NP. Family who owns property are very attentive and has many activities for the family onsite. LeeLand (0.5 mile) was a good place to stop for meals and any forgotten necessities. You can grocery shop and barbecue on site. Amazing to do and watch the sunset 😎 def bring bug spray

I cannot wait to stay at this wonderful lodge in Leelanau on Lake Michigan AGAIN! Lisa and Greg are outstanding hosts. The lodge has many accommodation choices for couples or families. I highly recommend that you stay a week! The lodge has a beautiful beach, and is on 15 acres. There is so much to do, your only chore will be to decide what to do or where to sit and just relax. The lodge is kept immaculately clean, and is nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very quiet. Try to get a room with a view of Lake Michigan and if weather permits leave your window open to be lulled to sleep by the tide. Truly, a piece of Heaven on Earth!

We stayed in the hilltop. It was an adorable place to stay. We loved everything about our trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The Jolli Lodge was very welcoming to come home to at the end of each day. My only suggestion is to pack water. I’m not sure if it’s well water or just really old pipes. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Really wonderful property, sits right above Lake Michigan. The staff are wonderful and you can tell that this is a place that people come back, year after year. Our family goes to Michigan every summer and this was our first time in Leeland to Jolli Lodge. We stayed in Hilltop and other family members stayed in Northshore. Overall, these two cabins are very rustic and need some lovin’.The heat was oppressive the week we were there but that was just the luck of the draw. There were old fans and we brought fans of our own thankfully. There is no A/C in any of the cabins, but my guess is it is never needed. It would be fantastic if the property could invest in new furniture upgrades in general- lawn chairs and deck chairs. All of the lawn seating is very worn and old around the property. We had a nice new outdoor dining table at Northshore, but the majority of the lawn chairs and such are in need of replacing.Set your expectations before you come. It is very rustic. Spiders and mice all over the cabin. Truly, spiders everywhere (floors, ceilings, beds) which is tough on the kids. Our children had the time of their lives with the play set and the little play house. They were in heaven with the other children on the property and played all day.You can’t beat the atmosphere, it’s truly a special facility. I would just recommend some overall updating to the furniture - the Hilltop cabin specifically, it is extremely dated and would benefit tremendously (bathrooms, twin mattresses, kitchen supplies). Perhaps a good “gut” of the place could also help keep the spiders down.3 stars for Hilltop/ Northshore stay. But we looked at a few of the other cabins before leaving and those look a little more updated /up kept/less spiders ;).

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area, you owe it to yourself to check out the Jolli-Lodge. We came up at the beginning of the summer for a weekend away and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Everything oozed with charm and nostalgia in all the best ways. I immediately was taken back to summer trips with family when the days were long and the worries were few. We opted to stay in one of their spots that had a kitchen so we could make our own meals and not have to eat out for every meal. They have an incredible sunset view that we got to enjoy during our stay as well as a ton of activities for kids to do. The owners were so nice and acclimating and it’s the time of place were everyone says hi to each other. I definitely plan to stay there again next time we go up north.

This place is adorable! A rustic setting. Very secluded. Right on Lake Michigan. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and closer to Leland and Fish Town. Once you go there, you will want to keep going back. We met a couple who has been there 25 times now. This is our second year and we will be back.

Love the Jolli-Lodge. My wife and I stumbled on this gem after dropping off our girls for camp and exploring the area. Grabbed a room with a private bath one night, and then a second night with a shared bathroom. Feel and Vibe is Northern Rustic INN charm. Lots of History with property. Owners live on property, very helpful, and accommodating. Right off the main INN porch/lawn is an excellent view of good harbor, and the manitou islands. Houses on the property have been reserved for years by families that have come for decades. Great beaches nearby. Leland is just up the road for great food, groceries, boat charters and ferries to the Manitou islands. Family friendly. Best of all, excellent sunsets!

We’ve been coming to Jolli-Lodge for 14 years now and it’s absolutely amazing. Although the beach has disappeared over the years, it’s still a charming vacation spot. The sunsets are particularly nice. This place is just wonderful and the owners are truly amazing as well.

Wasn't sure what to think at first, had never been to a place like that before so was awkward at first. But after the first full day, we settled in and had a grand ol' time. Greg and Lisa are fantastic people to know.
