This was a very last minute reservation. After being very disappointed with a reservation nearby, we were left looking for a place to stay at 8:30pm on a Sunday night. The room was beyond clean..I mean not a speck of dirt anywhere, and nothing out of place. We were so relieved to be staying somewhere quiet and clean. We also loved waking up to a nice view even though it was cold and in the middle of April. I can’t imagine how relaxing the stay would be during peak summer hours!Thank you Lakeview Motel!

Super friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome upon checking in. Very clean rooms. Love the chairs by the lake front. Very relaxing and close to restaurants. Cool gift shop. We will definitely be back. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very kind and accommodating family run motel with a beautiful view.This was additionally one of the cleanest rooms we have ever had anywhere. The cleaning person does an amazing job.If we could offer anything constructive, we would suggest no smoking canisters near peoples doors.Otherwise, perfect stay!

This is best place on the lake for any vacation. We found a hidden gem that will become our home away from home. The rooms are very very clean with beautiful views. Best gift shop ever. They even have plus size sweatshirt ( i bought😁)and everything a kid could want esp. Moccasins. No place in Lake City has any thing like this gift shop!!! The owners are very nice and helpful!!!!!

Every time we have stayed here the rooms smell SO CLEAN. Even the comforters smell like they just were laundered that day. Almost all the rooms have a lake view which is gorgeous, and the owners have been very friendly, welcoming, and a pleasure to do business with. You can tell they really have been putting a lot of work into the place lately and that they really care about their guests. We come up once a month from April to October and will likely be staying here each month now :)

The rooms are super clean, and the view of the lake is beautiful from your lake front balcony. The Lake View Motel is right downtown in Lake City Michigan too.

This place is great and the staff is always personable. If you forget something you need for a fun day at the beach, this is the place to go! They have things that you can’t find in town at other places and are reasonably priced when compared to places like big box stores. They beat out all other places in town with their prices. They even have a cute selection of swimsuits, water shoes, tubes, floats, and Minnetonka moccasins. The store is well stocked with necessities and souvenirs. They sell on point Lake City apparel. This gift store is a must for both locals and tourists.

This is a quaint little family-owned Motel right on the water. The daughter and son-in-law are second generation owner and are proudly preserving and improving it.You'll find them to be pleasant and the place to be clean. The Gift shop is a delightful surprise filled with quality apparel products and cute little trinkets along with a few necessities you might need for your vacay.

The Lake View Motel and Gift shop is awesome. Calling and making a reservation with a real human is a wonderful experience. We had to add a day on the front end, I called explained the change and LVM were happy to make the adjustment. My team and I were running a bit (hour) late on arrival. I received a phone call from the desk asking if we are on our way. I confirmed and we arrived at 9 p.m. and were checked in with a smile, extra towels and a list of recommended places to eat. The rooms are clean comfortable and quiet. I am looking forward to bringing my family here for a relaxing get away.Nearby activities: Places to get a bite to eat: Tap House, Poncho Villa, Hammers Pub and Rustic Hog BBQ

Like stepping back in time the Lakeview Motel offers all the charm of a small town place to stay. With charming rooms right on the lake with great views you can't beat the Lakeview Motel. I was in the area visiting family and simply stopped in to have a look around. It is a very quaint little facility situated on Lake Missaukee-themed with guest rooms featuring kitchenettes and lakefront walkouts. The gift shop has a lot of handmade Lake City/Lake Missaukee-themed items as well as other types of souvenirs & mementos with "local flavor". Definitely a place where memories can be made! Even if you don't book your stay there, I highly recommend you take time to pop in & have a look around if you're ever in the area.

The ONLY reason for the 4 star is there was a cigarette container right outside the door. The smell infiltrated the room. We don't smoke and the smell was not pleasant.

Little pricey!!! A Monday night in December, nothing open but gas stations, nothing to do cause of the virus, checking in at 10:50 P.M. will be leaving at 8am if not sooner and quoted $90.00. Needless to say these people who was needing a room didn't stay there!

We booked rooms while building cell towers, they move us room to room daily to accommodate regulars, and kicked us out of the hotel with no advance notice when we supposedly had reservations. Younger guy working was rude, older guy didn't know if he had rooms or not. They treated my employee's very poorly. Totally unprofessional.

What a great place to stay right on the lake with sliders sliding glass doors facing the lake very very clean rooms the people there are awesome I would recommend 100% to stay there at any time year-round thank you Natalie and Greg for having us once again
