Great little place in a great little village. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the beer was good. The owner said hello and talked with us for a bit, thanked us for stopping on the way out. Can't wait for our next visit.

So glad we decided to stop in here. Small, rustic, up-north feel brewery with nice people. Their beer is delicious and I'm looking forward to visiting again.No food, but the pizza place right next door is super easy to order from. Kid friendly. Definitely a must stop in place.

Went out of our way to get here. Definitely a good find. Had an American IPA and Coffee Blonde. Both were good, to bad my wife spilled some on the way outside. Nice shared outdoor space with stage. They had some of the best merch of the brewies we went to in Michigan.

The outside space is family friendly (dogs too). Great drink options for all (beer, wine, cider, mead, and local sodas). The music is great and everyone is just in a good mood. Having an ice cream shop and a pizza place as neighbors adds to it being a perfect summertime evening place to be!

The beer is phenomenal. The staff are kind and considerate. Often, sparking warm conversation instead of small talk. Outdoor music with seating in addition to indoor seating. Kid friendly.

Ordered the Doc Shilliday’s Cream Stout. Very good. Small tavern inside but great service and beer. Order pizza from Stone Grill next door. Best kept secret.

Great beer and space to drink it in. I love a place that you can go with kids. We ordered pizza from The Stone Oven. They gave us a ringer to come get the food when it was done. So I just sat down enjoyed my beer watching my kids okay in the small yard they have. Buzzer went off got my pizza. The pizza was amazing as well. The employees did a great job at helping me pick out a beer. Thanks and enjoy. Still like the place. Great music!

Their beer will definitely float your boat. Worth the 20 minute trip from Traverse City. Great variety of craft beers, ciders and soda. We particularly enjoyed the Chocolate Orange Cream Stout. It appears that they often have music acts that perform on their outdoor stage and we were lucky enough to enjoy The Jameson Brothers on a Saturday night. The outdoor area is set up very nicely with tables and chairs so that everyone can see the stage. Towards the end of the night we had a delicious vegetable pizza. All in all, excellent beer, excellent food and excellent music – we had a fabulous time. We will definitely be returning when visiting Traverse City or passing through the area again.

Great spot winter or summer. One minor complaint would be to add a few more local dry cider options. I'd love to see some of Tandem's ciders on the menu.

I grew up in Lake Ann and it was such an awesome surprise to see a great new brewery take over the old LA Cafe spot. The beer, cider, and meads are all great!They have a few snack foods, but the pizza place next door has a great system worked out for takeout bites.

Great beer, good prices. I could drink Jungle Fungus all day. Food from the restaurant next door was great and reasonably priced. Really nice outdoor area and Chris Sterr was the live act, he was awesome.

My wife and I went last night for the first time and had a blast! The drinks, bartender (sorry I’m bad with names starts with a K I think ) and the rest of the staff were awesome! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

We've wanted to go here for awhile but every time we visit, something would come up. Finally got here! Cannot wait to return! Place was cozy & easy to hang out in. The Michigan/ Ohio game was on & Michigan won! The brew choices sounded good & you're able to sample a taste before you commit.The Rip Taylor cider was my choice & so refreshing! You're able to order pizza next door and bring it in. A great place to relax. I'll be back for live music!

We are staying at the Cottage Garden Guest House just outside Lake Ann and had the privilege of going to Lake Ann Brewing Company several times during our visit. Amazing place to have a beer and be entertained. Live music with nice size crowds. Staff is always so friendly, helpful and provided top-notch service at all times. Indoor and outdoor seating and you can rent lawn chairs for the evening live music. Ice water and cups are provided outside. Right next door to Stone Oven which can provide some great pizza. Great place to gather for fun on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are in the Lake Ann area you must stop at Lake Ann Brewing Company.

Their ipa's were pretty good. And the backyard dining area is an excellent place to hang out. However, they didn't have table service in the outdoor dining area. At least put up a sign that tells you that so you don't sit there and sit there.I'm editing my review because we can't leave another one. We had a great experience at the LAB. The IPA's were delicious. The bartendress was awesome. Their outside seating is great too. A must stop.

Love this place!!! You feel like part of the family when you are there. We went on a rainy Tuesday, were standing outside waiting for a picnic table to open. The owner walked by, asked how many we had, he then literally moved some things and put two tables in brewery garage to accommodate! We had the coolest and best seat in the house!! They will go above and beyond to make people happy and have a great experience! Can't wait to go back!!

We visited Lake Ann Brewing Company the last three afternoons (it was that good). Good beer, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The setup with the beer garden, live music every evening, and the Stone Oven pizza place next door is great. Joleen and the other staff were great and made us feel very welcome.

Whatever you're doing, if you're reading this review, stop, and come here! I was on the way back to Traverse City, spotted the roadside sign for Lake Ann Brewing and thought "I could use a beer". When I walked inside I instantly loved the atmosphere and the HUGE beer selection. Not one of your standard breweries these days with 90% IPA beers. They have anything you could want! It was a nice day so I went to sit on the back patio and WOW. I am upset that my random night wasn't a night with live music because this place is set up AWESOME! This is no back patio, it's like an adult hangout park!HUGE covered tent with picnic tables, picnic tables in the sun, picnic tables with umbrellas, nice wood mulch, and a nice little stage for musicians! You can get beer inside, outside, bathrooms inside or portable toilets for use outside....the list goes on and on. Whoever created this brewery wanted more than a brewery. They wanted a place for everyone in the area to come and enjoy. Hats off! You guys knocked it out of the park! Wish I didn't live 10 hours away or I'd be back here every week!

Best local brewery in the area. Great beers that are constants, and always trying new recipes. Fun atmosphere out back with a great selection of local musicians. Family and dog friendly (for friendly dogs), and they fill growlers to go too. Keep it going strong, Matt, you're doing a great job!
