Very intelligent location for a dollar store! More days than not I prefer NOT to make a trip to town for much needed supplies and/or last minute needs, running to this store is SO convenient and much cheaper than running to a gas station for a missing ingredient or loaf of bread etc.The staff is always helpful and pleasant! Well, stocked for the shortages everyone is experiencing....The only Major convenience they could add is an ATM!!!!! None available in the area which means a needed trip to one of the three local towns... If I need cash I bypass this store and get my needed items in town while using a bank/credit union. An ATM would mean more purchases/customers!!!!Only other negative, this Company should pay/treat their employees better!!!! Better pay and/or hour changes so regular employees can get benefits!

Love shopping here. If I was a manager here I would be more aware of the community so I could schedule more cashier's on busy days. Crazy to go in on the 1st and only have one register open. Another customer started yelling "is anyone else working today" because the line was 12 deep and she only had a few items.

Just moved to the area and have frequented this location several times. The staff is unbelievably friendly and will try to find what you're looking for, even if they think they don't have it. One of the best Dollar General stores I've been to in a long time!!!

Like a mini Target out in the boonies.Update 7/29/23: They added a self checkout spot, which really helps speed up checkout lines, and appear to have extra staff during busy days.Having a large freezer area perfect for rural grocery shopping. I don't mind packaged cold cut meats and cheeses. Be nice to get more refrigerator meats and even add frozen meats like steaks, hamburger and pork cuts. Most people freeze meats at home anyways.Frozen and canned fruits and veggies do the job for camping, lake stays, etc. Can always hit mom and pop produce stands for fresh veggies and similar.Appears DG is packing the shelves even tighter with more products per shelf area, a good thing for variety and prices.DG also trying a mini supermarket Concept, DG Market downstate, which I assume stocks fresh produce and meats.Maybe we get one in Lachine or Hillman to cover the meats and produce

It's a general dollar. The staff is friendly though. Local folks. Decent deals. Convenient location. Always clean. Usually has stock even with the covid situation.

They accuse little kids of stealing things and called the police on a 11 year old thinking that she stole a 1.75 can opener without asking the kid if she did steal it. The better thing to do is to go and ask the kid if she did steal it.They were also just accusing a kid Becasue.they thought it would be the simplest way to blame someone.who knows it might of been the the manager or the imployee. So this is the worst store in the lashion area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food selection. With the exception of fresh meat, dairy and produce, you could almost do your whole grocery list!
