Nice deli, great fried chicken, also whole differently flavored rotisserie chickens (lemon pepper, BBQ), nice unique baked goods like peanut butter donuts. This is a "off the main highway" grocery store. You can find a little bit of everything here. They also have a great gas station across the parking lot.

I don't go there often, only when passing thru.We do get their deli chicken, ribs and salads. Ribs are amazing (if you are lucky to get it, they go fast).Flowers 🌹 are always fresh. I don't know who their rose supplier is, but roses will last up to 3 weeks. And they are always these gorgeous huge buds. Get them every time.Other groceries and produce is a bit overpriced, but I understand it being a local store, they kind of have to mark them up. If we need something, we get it, otherwise we buy it at our home market.The store is always clean, that's for sure. Staff friendly.

Milk & other dairy products go bad well before the date. About 6 days..I just had a gallon of milk go bad 6 days before the date. These days every penny counts. The store would not exchange so I'm not shopping at this store anymore. To many issues with a store that charges way more for basic things. They have lost the people that actually made that store nice to visit. Like Larry the pharmacist he was amazing. The new pharmacist what ever his name is, is a grumpy & rude individual.

Their meat selection is incredibly affordable, other things are more pricey. Their deli is very delicious. The people are kind and it's easy to stop and get out, unlike a bigger store like Meijer.

Generally good store but guy behind deli wouldn't grab me a pre sliced package of cheese because it was after 8. Would have taken 5 seconds and he was standing right there.

Gotta say I really like this place. Small town feel, and not too far out of the way for TC folk. Good selections of healthy items despite the local demographic. Very nice beer selection. Friendly staff. The only "negative" experience I ever had was one time at check-out where all three of the cashiers were under 18 so the line to purchase alcohol was around the block. Not going to fault the store management on that, though, considering how difficult it is to find good help these days (particularly during the shamdemic). Keep it up!

Good place. Average prices. But i love the meat section. There is always something I can afford. Same in kalkaska. Nice employees too. Last week i could not find a sale item and the cashier went back and grabbed 2 pkg. Different flavors so I wouldn't have to walk back. Bad knees. Very happy.

Not a store I recommend. The front service counter female employee and several cashier's regularly talk gossip about each other in a loud unprofessional manner. I always hear it every time I go shopping and the funny part is one person they were talking bad about is a friend of mine. So hopefully one day management will hire better staff or at monitor and mentor the children about proper customer service.

Very nice store with good stock, great meat, and reasonable prices. Both the gas station and the market have clean restrooms and pleasant staff. During Covid-19 times the entire staff were wearing masks which was greatly appreciated.

Not happy about the store changing brands from Spartan✔ (which is really great) to Our Family❌ brand! A bit on the pricey side, but will offer good sales occasionally. Management needs a class(actually many classes)on friendliness, and how to interact with people!! friendliness goes a very long way. It cost absolutely nothing to smile😊😁☺😎Larry and the entire pharmacy staff @ Kingsley is absolutely WONDERFUL! They all are so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and wiling to help each and every time, either on the phone or in person always with a smiling face! Love EVERYONE AT THE PHARMACY!❤

some friendly cashiers but a lot of them are rude. Some of the management is rude and completely disrespectful. Prices on a lot of their items are more expensive than most other retailers(that's including our family). Produce/deli/bakery iffy. Produce has some food that is moldy ect deli sometimes has overcooked chicken or undercooked and bakery has overcooked there cookies/donuts.

Prices are high not good for the little man or woman. Way to many organics. Associates wearing khaki pants is so out dated. Allow them comfort in wearing jeans with the logo shirt. After all when your associates are happy and comfortable you get more out of them. Do not know about pay wages but associates do not seem happy. If this is being read by the right people then let's hope you will do more for your smaller sales associates. After all Kingsley is not much to look at. So maybe you can get the ball rolling and do more by adding a Hair salon or nail salon even a tire and lube place like some Wal Marts have. After all if your going to live in Kingsley and own a business especially with a empty building don't procrastinate get something done quickly as possible. If you want to be the best then act on it not sit there....Just my opinion folks.

The time my daughter and I were there the other day... Our checkout girl was more interested in walking around talking to other cashier's than she was about getting back to her cash register to complete our transaction!! Wasn't to happy about having to wait for her to get done gossiping before she got done with us!! 😠😠 I wish I knew her name, I would put it on here!!!

very frustrated! Had a gift card, called right before I walked out the door to check the balance. The automated call confirmed the balance that I thought was one there. went right to the store and when checking out the card came up exactly 1/2 of what I was told was on there! I called (while in line) and the balance had changed! This was a brand new gift card, unused. I was told the balance by the person who gifted it to me, then the same balance was quoted on the phone. so how the heck did they cut the balance in half within those few minutes it took me to get the store. and the cashier just looked at me all dumber and said well I don't know! That is just as bad as stealing! I understand mistakes happen but nothing was done to correct this!

Have had mostly good experiences going here. Some of the staff needs to realize that they are in customer service and rudeness is not acceptable, especially when there is no reason for it. Don't know if they have bad days every day or if they are just grumpy every day but when you deal with customers you put on a smile and be polite.

Great grocery store overall. It has its quirks of course, but it has reasonable prices, a good enough selection for being a smaller store, and they have great hours.The gas station has been recently updated and is a real treat to visit.

Good place to shop in a rush but I wouldn't do a full trip there. The customer service is usually very good unless you catch a cashier having a bad day, but we all have those. Been stopping in there for over 10 years.

Hadn’t been here in a few years love the fact that they moved the gas it’s in a much better location. But I think the grocery store could use some updates. Employees seem friendly in both gas station & food center. Shelves where stocked & the floors looked clean.
