WOW!!! This store is a MUST stop!! They have a wonderful selection of convenience items to keep you going, but EVEN BETTER, their great selection of homemade diner specials and baked goods!! This place and the owner's Walter, (WW2 Vet) & Kathy are some of the best people one could ever hope to meet in a lifetime and have a conversation with!! They are what makes this place such a success. The minute you walk in, you feel like family, with them, and their customer's that you've just met!! I encourage you, sit down and have some lunch, dinner, desserts or snacks there....you'll be so glad you did! If the world was like this place & these people, it'd be a good one!

Awesome place!! Nice stop along the Kal Haven Trail! We scored a warm peanut butter cookie that was phenomenal!! Might have to go back for a second! Super friendly Lady!

A great stop along the trail, the owner a WWII veteran & super nice !!! To have found a jem of a store in these times have made-it a MUST stop. A place you can relax eating a homemade sandwich & cookies looking out the front window or sitting out on the porch. The Kendal store has become a favorite of mine & I really recommend stopping in.

This is one of my favorite stops along the Kal-Haven trail. The people are very cyclist friendly and very helpful. Plus indoor and outdoor seating great place for a break.

Eighty seven year-old Walt Garrett is an amazing man and this is a great store to stop in and get a sandwich and a cup of coffee. They have all the supplies a hunter or hiker would need and I'll stop in there every chance I get.

Great little store. They have everything you need. So my buddy and I were working on a house in Gobles and had to go get lunch. So this is were we ended up going in hopes of finding a bit to eat. Wow we went to the right place. I mean I like devil eggs and they had some of the best ever. And my buddy got a egg salad sandwich and he said the same thing. Delicious so if you're ever around stop in it's a great place.
