Amazing book store n so beautiful. Lady was absolutely a angel n gave my client a 50% off his order. He has Parkinson's n not much money but loves to read. She also has his artwork displayed. She is definitely an earth angel n we will b going back Friday to do some Christmas shopping.

I thought the store was all right. They had free coffee, candy, and a good place to get warm. But when I left a bad thing happened. I was getting my bike and I parked it near the office door and an old man came out yelling at me telling me to get off the property immediately. He didn't tell me why I had to or what I did wrong. All I did was browse and enjoy myself inside. The guy that yelled at me was the owner, Bryan Rush, and it turns out the business has been traumatized by bad customers and are really sensitive. The guy was a real class A jerk. I did call to say sorry if I hurt them in anyway though.

My sister and I were on a little road trip and happened to stumble upon this amazing store when we were least expecting it. The woman there was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. She had no problem going through the trouble to help us find what we were looking for. While she was helping some other custers I enjoyed my time looking though the amazing selection of books available, at astonishing low prices. I happened to find, without even looking, one of my favorite books of all time (for $3.50). Needless to say, this will be not only my favorite memory of this trip, but a destination every time I'm even remotely in the area.

Adorable, bright and well organized. I found myself browsing the kids books for old favorites or gifts for my nephews. Major adult fiction series or genres had some helpful cards guiding titles and publication years. The whole space felt calm and inviting and beautifully decorated, little cubbies helped divide genres into unique spaces.

Here's the hidden gem! For some reason it's hard for me to find sometimes, but my friends agree and we think it's because it sits so far back off the road. This little used bookstore is bigger than it looks! It's much roomier than other stores and has separate rooms for different genres. The books are organized so well that you can find things easily, they have the lowest prices I've found, and the best quality as well. The complimentary coffee, bookmarks and chocolates are a bonus! And they have a frequent visit card. So many purchases and you get a free book! There is one member of the staff you have to meet! The woman with dark hair who jingles when she walks (because of her necklace) and her son goes with her. My friends have gone on different days than I have and we all agree that she is the best employee there. We love her! We thought she was the owner because she was so accommodating! She makes you feel comfortable instantly as if you have been friends for years and has you laughing within minutes. And if you need to get a problem off your chest or a good cry, it's as if she is your best friend and listens intently with an empathetic ear. She is more than a book store clerk. She cares about everyone who goes to this store and it's evident by her attitude and customer service. She is always running back and forth to the storage area to check back room stock and is always doing something when we go there. There is also a younger clerk who does nothing to help you and does nothing in the store but sit behind the counter and never talk to you. Hopefully you won't go on the days she is there as you will not have the best experience. You can also trade in your books here and the trade in value is high and you get credit towards future used book purchases. There is a loud dog in another room. Book-stores should have cats! The store should read Hemmingway! lol So if you are a book connoisseur, this is a place you must check out! And hopefully you'll also meet the clerk extraordinaire ! Your experience will then not just be about shopping. 5 stars!!! 5 Stars BUY THE BOOK! And 5 STARS to your JINGLING WOMAN who works there! Everybody go there!

This was my first time at Buy The Book. A friend & I went, she introduced me to the store, we had such a nice time shopping for many varieties of books. You know what... They are in pretty good shape too, in fact 2 of the books I purchased seemed brand new. I also thought the prices are very reasonable. I purchased 3 Nicholas Sparks books & they were $3.50 a piece. The inside of the building is very well clean. It's in the owners house. Her house is on one side & the store is on the other side. Also when you bring the books back in good shape, you will get $1.50 off the next book you purchase. They also have a punch card, after you purchase 4 books you get one for free. You know something... I may be wrong you may have to purchase more than 4, but to be honest I don't remember the amount. You go & HAVE FUN SHOPPING!!👍👍🙂🙂

I was really impressed by the selection at this little bookstore. My wife and I loved the intimate, homey feel of the shop, and we walked away with 6 books - all on our personal want-to-read lists - for under $25! The stock seems well-curated, and there's a good mix of old and new, recent bestsellers and classics from every era, as well as children's and YA books. We'll be back!

A real gem of an independent bookstore! I try to visit a used bookstore in any city I visit and I’m so thankful I stopped into this one. Great selection, with a few chairs to digest some pages. I recommend any book lover to take a look here!

Great book store. There is no substitute for going in to a place full of books and working with someone who is passionate about them. Helped me find excellent presents for both of my kids that I never would have found searching for my own online. Prices are very reasonable and the people are great.

I love this store. Everything is laid out and organized nicely, they have a good selection/variety of titles, it feels warm and welcoming, and whoever is working is always kind to me and willing to help out. It's admittedly been awhile since I've stopped in, but I've always liked that they still have their loyalty cards in use whenever I do make it back.

It's a beautiful warm place with just a clean cozy maze room after room of book,but not in a claustrophobic way. A very kind lady who had patience to answer all the discombobulated questions I had while not knowing what I was even looking for. I'll be back again. oh and the prices! it's so nice to not have to save up for that just right book.

This place is the best! They have a large selection that is well organized. They keep up with the latest and are well informed. The staff is very friendly, and very knowledgeable and can help you find what you are looking for whether it be used or new. If they don’t have it, they will get it. I brought my in laws here and we made an afternoon of it and they loved it. I take my grandkids here and we make an afternoon of it as well. For them, it’s more fun to read when you can pick out your own books. This is a great place for a family outing! Get some lunch, go to Buy the Book! Have fun!

A wonderful used book store! I'm friends with the owners' family, and I would never go anywhere else to buy a used book. My friends and I got our college lit books her for a great deal. The owner and staff are always more than willing to help you find what you're looking for. Definitely come here next time you need a book!
