Like all Dollar General stores around here its a mess. Went in for brake cleaner and a scrub pad. After sorting their backstock to find what i needed I could hear a guy yelling for someone to ring him up. I heard him arguing with someone. By the time i got to the counter the short dark red headed lady retreated to the room behind the counters im guessing to watch tv. So i tossed my stuff on the counter and left. Ended up driving 20 mins to manistee instead.

Staff is rude and does not seem to care about customer service. Girls were in the back talking as I was waiting to be rung up, I walked back there just to let them know I was waiting and she said someone will be right with you and kept talking… when she finally did make it to the front she didn’t say a word!! Not I’m sorry, not goodbye, literally nothing. Very disappointed in this dollar general.

Same thing as the other people said. Old lady with short gray hair is very rude. Set a pack of water on the counter so she wouldn't have to lean over the counter to scan it. Raised her voice practically yelling saying stop and that she doesn't need me to help and told me I should just keep it in the cart next time, and so I left a gallon of water in the cart and she got mad when she had to lean over the counter to scan it lol, these people don't make sense.

Store was clean, found everything I needed within a short amount of time. The only thing I didn't like was the comments on how I "Stink" like oil and propane. Didn't even take 2 steps out the door and the employee there was cussing up a storm on how I smelled disgusting!

The service is 3 out of 10 at best. Sometimes 3 people working and you still have to wait in line for 20 min sometimes. There's always stock everywhere . Can never tell if they are out of stuff or still on the pallet that's sitting in the isle. How are wheelchairs supposed to get in there? Change in management and crew would do wonders.

I used to go here 3 or 4 times a week. I tried to return something and the manager wouldn't take it back because she said it smelled. I did talk to the district manager (a very nice lady) and she said she fixed the problem. I went in to buy some pants and I felt edgy as the manager was there. I now go to Kaleva if I shop at Dollar General.

I had a problem with my card. The elderly woman with shorter grey hair (possibly store manager) was very rude and impatient with me. She had to unfortunately re-scan my items and I apologized multiple times, with no response from her. I asked if they accept checks and she said yes, her check machine wasnt working so she was even more frustrated, Understandable. I then waited patiently for her to get her check machine working and she made a remark "you wont be getting a reciept sooo". I then asked if I was all set and she said yup and I proceeded to walk out saying thank you and she said nothing. I was very disappointed with her "customer service".....

The store is new so it's clean and well organized. The people that work there are helpful and friendly. They were having a problem with there Credit/Debit card machine the day I was there but I'm sure that will be fixed asap.

Staff was not wearing masks behind the counter or on the sales floor! I saw no one from staffask folks to put on their mask, because hell Staff is not so why should the customer's. To tell you the truth they should be fined $$$$$! And shut down for two weeks for not following the government's order to help stop Covid-19! WEAR A MASK - SAVE A LIFE! Simple.........wear the mask!

Left without an entire, payed in full, bag of paper products and staff stated the next day that no one left a bag full of paper products, this was the next day with my receipt. First of all and most important, the Customer is always right, unless you can prove otherwise😤😧🤬

Has most everything you could need. Good low prices. Store was clean and the checker got us checked out fast

They have all the holidays covered they sell clothing, toys, cleaners, they also have the rug doctor that you can rent to use. Pretty much everything from A to Z.

With over 20 people in line the manager was asked to open the second register by a customer she said NO then went to the office an off duty employee comes over after her shift and opens up the register and started helping the manager comes out after a few and yells at the helpful employee to go home and takes over the register where she proceeded to tell us if we want to pay with cash use the other register because she will only take cards because we are not worth getting sick for the other employee can take cash I will not give DG one more red cent and no one else should support this kind of behavior
