We had a great time at Lutz Farms in Kaleva, Michigan, especially considering it was their opening day for the corn maze and barn. Despite the rainy and somewhat miserable weather, we toughed it out and had a memorable visit with myself, my wife, and four other family members.The $12 per person admission for the corn maze was a decent deal. It included a cup of hot or cold cider and a fresh donut from a local bakery, both of which were excellent. The added bonus was a wagon ride across the farm to the maze. Before reaching the maze, there's a hilltop stop where you can capture some amazing photos. The autumn colors in the distance made for fantastic pictures.The maze itself, while long, was relatively straightforward to navigate, so you couldn't really get turned around too much. It was still a lot of fun and took us about 15 minutes to complete. Overall, we all enjoyed the experience, despite the rainy weather. The staff were friendly (even the young children were talkative about their baby ducks and chicks), and we had some friendly encounters with the goats, although the ducks seemed a bit shy. Lutz Farms is a great place to embrace the fall spirit!

Sadly, the worst berries I've ever had. A whole flat that should have 2 and a half batches of jam barely gave me 1 batch. Received on Monday and stored in cool basement only over night .... These berries were not fresh picked when purchased and should have been informed as most were mush and many even covered in mold.... Very disappointed to have spent that kind of money to throw away so much that I couldn't even give to the chickens!!

I saw an article recently stating that they are worried about asparagus harvest during Corona because their workers come from Mexico...why don't they just hire a conveniently located local American if they are that worried? Why the push to buy local if some aren't even employing the locals?
