My husband had a cardiac procedure on Thursday 4-25-24. He needed a Rx for Plavix to prevent clotting. Our home pharmacy had to order so it wouldn't have been available until more than 48 hrs after the procedure. I called Walgreens on Gull Rd. The young lady who assisted me was polite and knowledgeable. She had the Rx faxed from our pharmacy to Walgreens, called me back immediately, and we picked it up under 2 hrs! THANK YOU!

If I could give zero stars, I would. They seem to be the only ones that can’t get a prescription filled correctly despite multiple visits and communications. I normally don’t rush to leave a review if my experience was bad, however this has now happened so many times that people need to know. If you have an urgent or even within several hours need of meds, YOU WILL NOT GET THEM. Maybe they’re great when you have days and days to get something filled - but I won’t be using them ever again to find out. Absolutely unacceptable.

Pharmacy staff is condescending and rude.My husband went in to purchase insulin needles around 6pm today. He is a newly diagnosed diabetic and had been using the insulin needles we had leftover when our dog died in December. The woman at the pharmacy was rude and belligerent. She repeatedly asked him what gauge he wanted even though he kept telling her he didn't know. She asked him three times if he was sure it was insulin needles that he wanted. When he told her what he could remember from the box we had at home, she went to the back, came back and said "we don't have any needles." He came home and said he felt embarrassed and stupid for not being able to answer her questions. There's no reason to treat anyone this way, regardless of what your personal opinions may be.

Avoid at all costs. Currently on the third major prescription screw up in 3 months. Then they try to blame insurance, but insurance can document everything and states the problem is at the pharmacy. Tried billing insurance for meds I had not yet received. Stay away. Place sucks.

Worst pharmacy in Kalamazoo. times we've waited for 20 minutes for one car to clear in the drive up.Terrible service.and disorganized. We get emails telling us that our prescriptions are ready for pickup, only to be told they are not filled yet. We waited in line for 30 minutes and they have trouble finding our prescriptions when they are ready. Terrible service.

If I could give zero I would. Put on hold for a most 20 minutes and then told 3 different stories regarding the status of my prescription. Then they hung up on me. Terrible service is an understatement for this place.

Worst service ever. I refuse to go to this place again. The staff is extremely rude. I pulled up to the window and the gal was scrolling on her phone and ignored me and kept scrolling. Finally she came to the window and said “give me just a few minutes”, no one else apparently could help when there’s five other staff members standing around and she was scrolling on her cell phone.

My son had surgery and the surgery center sent them to the wrong Walgreens after they corrected the error our prescription was not going to be ready for my son to have his pain meds on time. I tried to explain this to one of the pharmacy workers who showed little concern for my situation and walked away before I was done talking. I called the pharmacy and they were closed for lunch so I called and asked for the store manager that happened to be JJ. He listened to my situation and told me he’d take care of it. I got a call back from JJ and he said “Your sons prescription is ready”. JJ didn’t have to care and because one of the scripts was a controlled substance my surgeon wouldn’t transfer it to another pharmacy. Thanks to JJ for his empathy and compassion.

They are HORRIBLE!! PHARMACY IS WORTHLESS!! Prescription sent electronically at noon. Go to pickup at 7pm, and prescriptions are not filled and will not be ready until tomorrow! These prescriptions are written to the day, and I will go to work tomorrow without needed medication! They did better during the entire COVID! The pharmacy is too busy giving vaccines instead of filling needed prescriptions. Have a separate person and line for that, or better yet, send people to the doctors office for that. Rude staff and heartless uncaring staff! You should be proud of yourselves. I will pick up my prescriptions after work, and I will NEVER step foot in another Walgreens ever!! I have been getting prescriptions here for many years! NO MORE!

Worst pharmacy service on the planet. Plan to call your prescription in at least a day in advance and know that it still may not be ready. This time I called in my (one) prescription the day of, which is rare, and it took two and half hours (including a thirty minute lunch to be fair) and I was told it STILL wasn't filled, while they were telling walk-ins their prescriptions would be ready in forty five minutes. The manager is rude and unhelpful. I asked about the longer wait for those calling in prescriptions and was told they give priority to those waiting in person. I told him I think that's poor procedure during flu season, and also unfair to those who call ahead.When my prescription said it was ready for pickup, I was told it was not, which is when I asked for the manager, and suddenly it was ready after I had to get back in line behind five more people. Every experience here seems worse than the last and every time I swear I'm going to change pharmacies. I think it's time to do so.Edited to add- The two people ahead of me (the first time) were both seniors, one who was asked fifty questions about her health and reactions to vaccines after she stated this is her FIFTH Covid shot from there. The other woman was told that she was going to owe $85 for a flu shot even though she had Priority insurance AND Medicare. She said I've never been charged before... Both clerks were rude kids with no respect for elderly patrons who have been coming there for years. So I don't want to hear how they're all doing their best, because that's just not true.Second Edit, A Month Later- I filled my prescription a WEEK in advance. I arrived to pick it up and was told they had no record of a refill, despite the fact that I received a notification that it was ready for pickup. I was told it would have been too soon, a variety of excuses, again despite the fact that it showed filled on my account and through text. I was told to wait another thirty minutes for the refill. I don't know what more I could possibly do to help this pharmacy give adequate service. I feel like I'm in The Twilight Zone every time I come here. It's not even believable how bad the service is.

Be prepared, a few months ago I was the 5th car in line after waiting about 15 minutes I pull up and the shade is pulled, it's lunchtime!Yesterday, my husband pulls up to the window after waiting...the employee looks at my husband and then pulls the shade. Worst customer service/policy ever. You need to re-examine how you serve those who were in line prior to 1:30.

Will never return to this place. Their staff has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen and I’m not sure how they still get away with it. The pharmacy techs are the worst. Today was the last time I’ll ever put up with it. If you want great customer service, friendly staff, go to Gull Point Pharmacy.

I want to offer an update and be as quick to compliment as to complain. After a horrible experience at the W Main and Drake location, I came here. My one question was quickly answered with courtesy. Additionally,, Jackie insisted on walking with me to a location where I could find the products I needed, and provided important information. Jackie should be training other Walgreen employees on excellent customer service!

Don’t waste your time getting your vaccines here!! The Pharmacy is garbage and so unprofessional. I booked my appointment online and filled all the paperwork out ahead of time and got there and had to wait in line just to check in. So no time priority to appointments vs walk-ins. Then, they proceed to have me fill out all of the same paperwork that I filled out ahead of time online and when I said I had filled it out already they just said “okay?” and still had me fill it out again. I waited for 25 minutes as they took walk-ins and drive thru customers and when finally asked they told me I was double booked for the appointment… with two other people? Who both had to wait as long as I did?? And I walked in their little room for the shot and it is shabby and disorganized as heck. I will never get another shot there again and after this I’m just never shopping there again. They’ve let all their standards go and I think their pharmacy needs to be investigated if it is really up to standards or not.

We appreciate you!However, the other reviews should be urgently seen by corporate or they may loose a branch. . Get the point!?YOUR STAFF IS OVERWHELMED WITH ORDERS EVERY DAY! PLEASE OPEN A NEW BRANCH TO OFFLOAD WHATEVER IS CAUSING THE LOG JAM!Perhaps they must take extra steps due to Michigan law. Whatever it is.... Something is off as we've recently moved here from MN and never had a complaint with any of our local branches.... and YES, our family has just suffered another pitfall moment as well. But we can clearly see a deficiency in quality of service and severely slow lines at any pharmacy window. Seriously. I have "LEAN SIX SIGMA" training if I may present some solutions...??. 👍 I trust whoever reads social media on behalf of Walgreens take this one straight to the top. Not sure what has happened but this pharmacy no longer cares about its patrons. Perhaps just a sign of the times! When someone orders an essential medication and Walgreens can't fill it, a simple phone call is a minimum. Equally important is that this location does not appear to know what they are doing.

We waited in line for 30 minutes after receiving a text that my husbands scripts were prepared. We get to the window & they are not prepared. We were asked to get in line and wait. The line was wrapped around the building. My husband has covid & needed these meds so we went back to waiting at the end of the line in the drive thru only to wait another 35 minutes and they closed the drive thru down before serving us. It was not a lunch break. We returned this morning & the pharmacy was closed due to no pharmacist being available to work. There was a sign on the drive thru indicating the pharmacy was closed. That’s it. There was nothing there to assist anyone to route their scripts elsewhere or a phone number offered to assist. Some people cannot wait another day before receiving their medication. People aren’t dying just due to covid. It’s lack of care!!!!!!

I am busy at work. Signed up to get my medication delivered. Called them to check status. Was told it been bought but not shipped. Told them I Signed up to get it shipped. Transferred me to a technician that hung up on me while transferring me. So I drove over there and was told that it was shipped this morning. Now it's on its third day of 1 to 2 days shipping. Get your stuff together gull rd Walgreens.

Horrible for cheap....1/2 gal my milk....4.99 OTD....NAW The 3.85 at family dollar is too but 4.99....talk about price gouging....but I'm sure " inflation"....yeah well pretty sure milk isn't internationally shipped nor long distances so what did the cows go overseas now so local products skyrocket.....shame.....

Worst pharmacy ever! I left meijer because I thought surely Walgreens, a drug store would do better. They did worse. Didn't get my drugs when they said they would. 4 days later, strike one. Went there to get some eye drops before my surgery, the drive through was closed and there was a note that said no pharmacist on duty closed. Strike 2. Went back the next day to get them and still no pharmacist. Strike three! I'm going back to Meijer or will do mail order. This store is a joke!

Is a great place to pick up your prescriptions but they are short-handed right now and their drive-thru window is closed last I knew because somebody tried to break in so they had to board it up. Please be patient they are doing the best that they can. Coming from one healthcare worker to another you guys are doing a great job.

Not gonna complain about a phone not being answered, or a script not being filled. Short staffed is understandable. Being at a store shopping, those people are there already being helped , so sometimes the phone wont be answered. This is a employee in the photo area , she couldn’t answer anything, she seemed like her job isn’t important. I asked for cups for a gift , she said they are special ordered and wont be here by Christmas, that’s understandable but when i said how long do they take , she made a story about how she didn’t know . She said she dont know every other word. . Then i said ok i will still buy it . She pointed at a machine and said do it there . I said I would try it because i have never done photos at all . My wife usual does. So she stood there and wouldn’t help . So i said never mind i will go elsewhere. Everyone is short staffed. But to make a customer look like they wont help then your not doing your job you’re paid to do

Lately every time I go to the driveway thru its a long line and it barely moves really depressing to have to wait in line for 1 hour or more for my prescription. This has been going on for months. Maybe you all.need to hire more people to cover the customer demand. I'm glad at least I was sitting in my car waiting rathethan in the store standing and waiting

Terrible hours. Terrible staff. Shorted me 30 pills on a script. I called when I noticed it and their count was off by 30. Very concerning. Good thing the pharmacy manager corrected the error. The staff is horrible though.Update to this. AGAIN this pharmacy proves to be terrible. Afrodida is the rudest woman I've ever talked to. Complaint with corporate will be coming their way now.

I was working out of town and needed a prescription filled, we were having some trouble with the insurance and the pharmacy was getting ready to close. The man I delt with was great and helped me out all the way up to closing time to get my prescription that day.. great customer service for this traveler. Thanks again.

I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a pharmacy in my life. They don’t care, they are never even close to being quick. Do not go to this place. Gull rd Walgreens needs to fire every employee and hire in new.

Completely unsatisfied with Walgreens, move my meds to them cause I had to, insurance would not fill at Meijer, updated my new insurance three times and the still billed one of my meds to the old insurance. I called and was told I would get a call back, they never called, so I just waited my lunch break on hold to find out there is nothing they can do, corporate will have to take care of it, they will let me know if I owe anything in 6-8 weeks.
