SPCA provided a smooth adoption for my first cat. She is the sweetest girl, and you could tell all of the cats were taken care of well here. I would adopt with SPCA again!!

Adopted our lil man Maxamus (formerly Dalton) on 12/16/23. It was an unexpected adoption as I did not bond with any cat as we walked through. Then, I saw him. He chose me and we all fell in love. It was our first time adopting and the process was quick and easy. It just so happened to be during clear the shelter (which we had no idea about). So, not sure if thats why it all went smooth and quick. But, they were all wonderful. Plus, when you adopt, petsmart gives you a coupon for FREE kitten food. Well, it was not one we were planning on using so we snagged it and donated to SPCA to help the other kittens. We adore our new family member. He was the perfect addition!

A little pricey for their adoptions, but worth it. They offer a lot of community services to help you care for your pets. The dogs and cats seem well cared for. Their cat room allows the cats to free roam. My puppy, now 2 years old, came from here and was one the best purchases I've made❤

We had a very good experience and love our little girls. Doja Kitty and Benny May.But they are still trying to learn to get along. *Update* Doja and Benny are now buddies and getting along with each other. Yay!!! They have such great personalities and are very happy and healthy ❤️

My daughter and I are volunteers at the SPCA. We love to spend time helping to socialize the kitties, and walk and play with the dogs! However, the best day for us is the day after Bissell Empty the Shelter program has occurred, when the company Bissell pays for all adoption fees for anyone who qualifies to adopt from the SPCA. An empty shelter is beautiful! I highly recommend volunteering here. Everyone is kind, and they try to make the best of the situations that these sweet animals are in. We love being a part of that. And if you're looking for a new friend, this is the place to go!

We got our dog fixed for free, on there special weekend. My wife and boys found a cat they just love, Skylar. Everyone was friendly, and kennel and facilities are clean. Please consider adoption too.

I adopted the dog “Victor” about a year ago and in the four days I had him at my house he managed to bite both of my children. The SPCA had him labeled as good with kids my three-year-old was bitten at four in the morning while she was sleeping and her bite was so severe she had to go to the hospital. I instantly called the SPCA and returned the dog with a promise that I would get my $250 adoption fee back. Over the past several months I’ve called numerous times over 20 and still have not had a refund nor will anyone even call me back at this point! I have hospital bills my child has two scars on her face and I paid $250 for a dog that I don’t have!! I want my money back!!!

first time visiting this shelter and ended up picking up a kitten named Mia. the entire staff are awesome, personable, and authentic. they were able to answer any questions I had and made the adoption experience very smooth. there are so many great animals there that I hope find great homes! I wish I could have rescued them all!

I went to donate cat food. While there, I always visit all the animals!! Swayze, a dog who is deaf is still there. I wish someone would adopt him!!! I am waiting to find a home as we are in an apartment at the time! They were full with cats and dogs. And all of them wanted to go home with me!!! SPCA is the greatest for caring for our fur babies in need of homes!

They are so kind and provide information on how to obtain help with food and other benefits for your pet health. Make sure you visit them on Tuesdays and Thursdays for assistance. I don't remember if it's between 10Am and 3PM or not, but I'll be heading there tomorrow and will update my post.

People there are awesome! Love this place, they are really work hard to find new families for the pets there. We’ve always stayed on the cat’s side though, but my impressions are overwhelmingly positive. If looking to adopt- good place to go. They have a lot of traffic, so if you are very particular of the cat you want to take - they have new pets quite frequently.

They are great and don't mind if you take your time being selective. I don't know how many times we visited after our 16yrs old beagle mix past away, but the staff was always caring and friendly. We got our current dog from there and she is such a good fit I can't imagine life without her.

We were able to meet with different pups until we found one that had the personality we looked for. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Lots of freebies with adoption too.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the knowledgeable staff. We found several cats that we liked and it was great to have a separate room to spend time with each cat separately to checkout the personality before making a decision. We chose a two year old tiger that has quickly become a real part of our family.

The staff has been very helpful when we come in, and don't mind answering questions about an animal we're considering adopting.(both our cats have come from here, as those we have referred friends who have adopted) . Sometimes looking and then going home to think on things on things is the best choice. You do what's best for you as well as the cat(s) or dog(s). Staff won't judge you. They seem to appriciate you making sure of what you want to do).As we try to adopt older cats who are over looked by kittens, the price are nominal but for the younger cats prices are extremely reasonable as well. I think the highest I've seen is 125$ Highest I think I've seen for dogs was around 300$ and that was for puppies.Considering all the services and work they have put into all the animals, the prices for adoption are incredible. Plus you get at least one or more family member at a time. How cool is that!!This is a GREAT place if you're looking to adopt.

Not a lot of kitten or cats, so it seems they get adopted out quickly. The cats are more integrated with each other unlike other shelters that keep them very separate. The adoption fees are also less. Brought home the cutest playful kitty. Great place to check out if you're considering adopting a cat or dog.
