Absolutely rude customer service every single time. I am not sure pretty sure they are racist except for ONE or TWO employees. DO NOT RECOMMEND this location. Staff is unwilling to help or move things for dog food to be easily assessible. Very tight spaces and employees instead of offering to help move carts try to walk past you when you have a cart and your dog. Again they treat customers differently based on RACE! I'd rather drive 20 minutes to another location then the one 5 minutes from my house due to the Absolutely disrespectful customer service. 😑

Went here to get my dog North Face everything he needs to be the best doggy he can be but of course he's alway's on his worst behavior..lol they have a pet friendly store & great environment for pet lover's i got my 6 week old Siberian Husky something to chew on he is very mucch teething & bites everything. He loved his toy's alot & I recently changed his food too Redford & he loves it! He also got a foggy bed that he never sleeps in but uses as a pillow from time time. The staff here was very helpful & provided me with all the information I needed from food references to toy's & medicated topical spray for my North Faces itch & dry skin as well as answered every question I had in general! I am "The Superb Lifestyle" host & tour guide I approve this pet store & this message! 🐺😁

I never knew abut this store. Our daughter was in a bad accident and where taking care of her two kids. I needed a certain kind of food and no one in my area had it. I called pet supplies and Lordy , they have it. And all the staff were and are fantastic!!!!!! This will be the only place I will go for my family’s needs.

I love it there I used to work with allison during school days Sabrina Shobway here I see how good they take good care of all the animals thanks to my school it's a good place for pets to be and to see and i was good with the animals to i miss working there but i am going to be a stay home mom know .

EDIT: THIS IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE GULL ROAD LOCATION.Don't go here and expect to find your Big reptiles food, they don't keep frozen in stock and always tell you they've sold out.They didn't sell out, they simply don't order them for restock.Youre better off hitting up a local breeder, even if you only have one snake. DISAPPOINTING doesn't even describe the experiences I've had.However, the service is always good and the employees are kind, so this is not an attack at them (id give them 5 stars, and theyre the only reason i gave two), rather a friendly reminder that OUR REPTILES EAT TOO, AND PLEASE DON'T ADVERTISE YOU HAVE FOOD RESOURCES WHEN YOU NEVER DO.SINCERELY,A mama of BIG HUNGRY BOA.

Employees were very kind and went out of their way to help. My dog, Oscar, has chronic pancreatitis that has to be carefully managed with diet and medicine. I’ve struggled to find treats he can eat and that he likes since he was diagnosed a year ago.As soon as I walked in the store I was greeted and asked if I could use some help with anything. I explained about Oscar and the clerk immediately had another employee meet me in the treat aisle. When I explained what I was looking for, she was not afraid to admit that another employee would know more and she called him to assist me. He was able to point out specific treats that might fit the bill.I went to the store straight from the park because I had just been hiking with Oscar where he got into poison ivy, so he needed a bath right away. After finding finding treats and checking out, I had 30 minutes to bathe and dry Oscar. They provided the shampoo, collars and hooks to keep your dog on the platform, aprons, towels and they also had blow dryers in each of the three stalls. They assigned me to the stall with the highest raised platform because Oscar is small, which helped my back. Thirty minutes was more than enough time to accomplish my task. Oscar was fearful of the dryer, so we just used the towels.Thanks everyone for helping me finally find treats Oscar both likes and can eat! He’s grateful, too! Obligatory photo of Oscar attached.

I love this business. Both local locations are always clean and have awesome employees. I'm always asked it I need help shopping or carrying my order to the car. The prices are comparable to other local businesses. It's slightly higher, (a few dollars) than what we would pay online but the great customer service and buying local is worth it.

My dog totally did a pee on the floor and barked a LOT when I went in there, the workers were super nice about it, cleaned up the puddle so fast, and gave my puppy a treat and a pat on the head.Also the prices are generally as good as online and better than brick and mortar competition.Great store, would pee in again.

I normally am not crazy about "big box" pet supply stores. This place isn't like any of those thankfully. It doesn't have the feel of a big box place at all. It feels like a home town store with lots of room. The selection is excellent, at least for cats. I don't own any other animals but those sections in the store are quite large so they look to have a great selection also. The cat food selection, particularly the wet food selection, is extensive and has the selections my cat has decided are her favorite. Prices are pretty good too. They always have fun sales going on to help you when you want to try something new. The best thing of all is the staff though. I love the people that work here. They are always so friendly and seem to be having a fun time working there. I look forward to visits to my favorite pet place. One day, I'll have to take the cat too and see what she thinks.

It's easy to find what you are looking for and staff is definitely willing to help if you need it. I appreciate the out of stock notes left rather than simply empty shelves. Everyone is nice, helpful with questions and getting your rewards program discounts!

Thank you PSP for always being so super friendly, providing the best service and always being so helpful. I am terrible with writing reviews but hopefully someone will read this and run out to PSP for their needs as I love the fact it’s not corporate and I enjoy the help I receive as well as the value. With 4 animals to feed and take care of this is very important. I’ve been going to PSP for almost 11 years now and have always had a 5⭐️ experience. It’s also pretty awesome they offer curbside as well. Thank you for always taking such good care of us!!!♥️

This is a Pet Store that has a bunch of items the other pet stores just do not stock or re-stock enough.I drove 20 miles to get what I needed because the so called P.S., just didn't have the items that I needed. And, since Covid they're store hasn't seemed to recover yet...🤣🤣🤣...that's how you Loose Customers

Pet Supplies Plus is by far the best pet store I have found. I started going to them because I remember the first store in Redford from when I was growing up. It still has that small store feel to me although they certianly have everything I need. I love to use the curbside pick up too. I started using it during Covid, and now it is just convenient when I am in a hurry. I always get a thank you note attached to my order, handwritten and often including a dog treat or two. ALL the staff members have wonderful customer service training I assume because they are top notch. I don't see a lot of turnover which makes me assume that like what they do and who they work for . Keep up the good work!!

Ordering online for curbside pick up is extremely easy! The website is efficient and easy to use. The directions and time line for pick up are clear. The customer service Is outstanding! My order was ready within the hour and I received both an email and a phone call when my order was ready. My receipt and a thank you note were in my bag at pick up. The staff at this store have always been friendly and helpful!

The team on Gull Road are rock stars! I needed something special to finish a Christmas Gift and admittedly had been searching online for answers. The answers there were so contradictory that I could not decide. Walking in they were upbeat and geeked to help even though we are in the midst of the final stretch of the holiday season and from my 12 years in retail, I know that can be rough. But they were energized, so polite and ready to help. I shared my thoughts and needs and they took me to exactly what I needed. They even took it out of the box to explain it and make sure I was confident and comfortable. So thankful for who they are and how they help!!!!

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The enormous variety of foods and toys is fenominal. We bought a guinea pig for my daughter and the staff was very knowledgeable and mentioned most of the important stuff that I had already researched before hand. Store was clean and workers were busy.
