We miss the paradise cafe, and several of the products we had been buying here are no longer available at this store. It's not a bad store, we just had been going there because they carried certain things we couldn't find elsewhere.

It's an ok grocery store in kalamazoo but upon my last visit I was looking for some pre packaged mushrooms and most of the packages in the produce section where expired by more than 1 day.

This is a great grocery store! The people are very friendly and helpful. I love the coffee bar....they have some awesome options. You can also get a great lunch here anytime. The hot food bar, salad bar, and deli have tons of variety. I feel like they could post better pricing and some kind of comparison information on their products. Sometimes you have to really look for product pricing. I don't really see much in the way of price comparison on tags giving information on per ounce or lbs and such. It is still is a good shopping experience.

I have been shopping at Midtown for years. I was stopped at the door and told I could not have my back on and would have to leave it at the counter. Every time I shop there I have my backpack on. When I spoke to Bob, the manager, he said, because he didn't recognize me, I had to leave my backpack at the counter. I'm sure if I carried a large purse, as I'm sure many shoppers do, this would not be an issue.

Great place to purchase meat. I placed a order for 22 porterhouse steaks for a camping trip, they turned out perfect. Thickness was spot on as so was the price $4.99 a pound!!!! Will definitely be back.

I love this sweet store but sure wish some of cashiers were friendly; went to one who never responded to my greeting, didn't tell me the total nor thanked me. Young people are making their way through the world but some encouragement from senior staff could be helpful. I know it's a hard job due to today's stresses and probably more cranky customers than nicer ones. Let's spread some love!

My pre-packaged salad I got was old and the lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers were bad. Ironic for a place called “midtown fresh”. The atmosphere is pretty okay, kind of like a Hardings. But I’m cautious to buy produce from here now after that incident.

Honestly, i love this store. They have a great variety of products for the size of the store, everything is fresh, the staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean and organized, and prices are very fair. The only problem i have is that they close way too early. There isn't another comparable grocery store nearby and I'd rather choose my favorite local grocer after work than travel south to a big store. An extra hour would make a huge difference and i hope they consider that for the summer! Otherwise, great store and they have my support for sure.

I went to pick up a seafood bundle. The staff in the meat department were friendly and eager to please! I love this market! We live in Galesburg and we watch the weekly ads. When we see good deals, we come into town and shop at Midtown. Beautiful store, wide selection, friendly staff, and great sales! Keep up the good service!

Great Store management, very cordial, attentive, respectful & are genuinely concerned with making sure you get what you need. I really like the staff here, the little "in door" coffee shoppe is very nice w/ a small outdoor area as well. Sure is more than a few steps up from what it used to be, nice to have a good grocery store in our neighborhood. Keep up the good work guy's and gal's thanks for bringing healthier options to the ""student ghetto" and the vine neighborhood We appreciate you!

Midtown Fresh has been a welcomed addition to the community since it first opened. They host a wide variety of grocery and essential household items at reasonable prices in a clean and organized environment. I can't say it's my favorite grocery store. But since I live around 3 minutes of it, it's a definite option that I enjoy. Clean, organized and stocked with plenty of helpful and friendly staff. If you enjoy the feeling of a small town grocery shopping store at a handy location, you'll enjoy Midtown Fresh.

Majority of items not labeled and priced correctly. They only pay their employees $10 an hour, overprice the community, and their customer service is non existing. I’d recommend you only shop here if you have no other choice and want to overspend. The 1 star is generous.

Clean, and bright. Easy to find what I was looking for. Fruit selection is limited but the freshness makes up for that. The store is well stocked. The floors are clean. Deli cases are free from smudges making it easy to see inside. I was hoping the deli was still open at 7. The cashier was friendly and smiling which has not been my experience 7/10 visits.

Overall, great store. I love the fact that they highlight local Kalamazoo products. The employees were very nice. Unfortunately their deli isn’t of the highest quality. I had the Parmesan chicken and ravioli yesterday and this morning I was throwing up. Not sure if it was just a bad batch but not a great experience in that area.
