I'm a long time customer. This USED to be a fantastic pharmacy. This place has turned terrible in the last 18 months. Apparently they can pick and choose when to fill prescriptions and lie about the reasons why they won't fill it. Insane. Highly recommend using a different pharmacy.

They source their scripts out to another pharmacy to fill so it takes 24+ hours to fill your script, I had three different scripts that were sent out. If you wait in line they usually have one person ringing people up meanwhile you can watch as other technicians are on their phones or chit chatting with e/o, I waited in line for 25 mins. If you wait in line through the drive thru you wait even longer and their intercoms are broken it sounds like it's two car lengths away.

I have never been to a worse pharmacy! They have "forgot" to fill a prescription, and had me wait an extra 30 minutes. I've had insurance issues for the same prescription three times. And then to top it off, when I want to transfer my prescriptions to a different pharmacy, they send it to the wrong one "electronically" but they recorded it went to the requested pharmacy on file. Get it together people.

The staff is always very helpful here. I rarely have issues. This pharmacy gets my medications in quickly and helps me work through communications between the pharmacy and my doctors’ offices.

On Friday 1/27/2023 I called my sons provider to request a refill for his meds, that same day the provider sent the order to the pharmacy. Today Monday 1/30/2023 I called to request the medication be filled, the pharmacist claimed to have no orders for that medication. I called the provider who confirmed the order was sent to pharmacy. Provider called me back after calling the pharmacy themselves and states that it’s all set ready to pick up. Apparently I did not word my request for his medication appropriately. I will not continue to waste time with this pharmacy. They may enjoy phone calls and medication topics however I have a job to do. I will pick up the medication today but also requested our future orders be sent elsewhere, praying they are better. Hoping this review serves as a training opportunity to the person who failed to provide me with an adequate answer and then blamed me for not asking the correct way. To that person: Friend! we don’t know what we don’t know, I literally said “calling for a refill for the this med” and you said we don’t have it. If the matter required a layman like myself to know more about wording then you have a duty to assist and provide that information. Best of luck! However I do NOT recommend this pharmacy.

Hopefully for folks that live in this area my experience is unique... I would give a minus rating if I could. I called yesterday to confirm that my medications were ready (I'm from out of state). I was told they were ready and come on in. When we arrived there was a problem with one due to insurance. I resolved the issue with insurance and called again this morning to let them know what the issue was, that I could only get six tablets instead of 10 and asked if I could come in again today. They said yes they would prepare it. An hour later I came to pick it up and was told that it wasn't ready but to come back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later I came to pick it up and was told that it was out of stock! This medication is for migraines. While the young man was trying to be helpful and find another Meijer pharmacy for me & the manager that I spoke with to let him know of the situation was sympathetic, the only thing I can do now is turn back to the place where I am staying turn off the lights and hope for the best over the next few hours and try the other Meijer tomorrow.

Had my Rx in stock and filled it within the hour!!!! Usually at the pharmacy I switched from they give me non stop run around and never filled that quickly. Staff nice as well as quick!

Terribly understaffed. 4 checkouts inside and 2 drive through lanes and only 2-3 people working them at the busiest times of day. Then you have folks that somehow take 10 minutes in the drive through window that should really just be pick-up only and you end up with infuriatingly long waits. Switching to another pharmacy soon.

Waited in drive thru pharmacy line with only one car ahead of me Completely trapped in the drive-through had no choice but to wait because I couldn’t get out, finally was able to get my prescription filled after 25 minutes of waiting with just one car ahead of me. Even if they were short staffed, it shouldn’t take that long.

Doctor sends order and pharmacist takes it upon themselves to deny dispensing meds because patient is taking another medication that is contraindicated due to reaction potential. You are not in a position to deny medication pickups after the doctor has ordered they be dispensed.Not only that, you started telling me, a random delivery person, confidential patient health information privy only to the doctor, patient, and pharmacist. That's called a HIPPA violation.Lastly, you said 10 mins, I went and got potato wedges from the deli, took me about 12 mins. When I got back you held me up for another 20 mins. Could have just said in the beginning it'll be 30 mins, I would have sat down somewhere and enjoyed the potatoes.Do better.

Pretty much every time I go either there is a problem or my prescription isn’t ready. My mom also has had very long waits (they’ll tell her 30 min, she’ll go do all her shopping, check out, and she’ll still have to sit and wait at the pharmacy for another 30)

Pharmacy closes at 8pm. I'm sitting behind a vehicle in line at 7:58. Car in front pulls away and pharm tech tells me computers automatically shut down and they are closed. I tell them I was in line before they closed and my newborn will go without his medication. Pharmacy tech continues to lie and says his computers are already shut down. What computer shuts off automatically? This business will never receive a dime from me or my family.

They are out of stock a lot and when your on pain meds this is unexceptionable. I’m sitting in the ER now because of their lack of stocking their selves. This is the 3rd time that this has happened. I will be switching pharmacy!

Terrible! Had all day to fill my prescription but at 5:00 PM still told to wait another 5-10 minutes. They told me I had to go to the end of the line. Mind you, I have already waited over 10 minutes. Also, one worker standing around with her hands in her pocket. Why isn’t she filling prescriptions? Happens all the time here.

I have never had a terrible experience at this pharmacy location. Today I watched one of the pharmacy techs, Megan, go out of her way to assist and give great options and information to customers. While Megan didn't work with me today, I have been waited on her in the past-she is wonderful. She is always friendly, knowledgeable, and jokes with the customer when appropriate. Her lighthearted spirit in a demanding job is greatly appreciated. Thank you Megan!

I typically have very good experiences at other Meijer pharmacies, but unfortunately not here. The staff there frequently have trouble transferring my prescriptions to other Meijer pharmacies; something I don’t experience anywhere else. The communication that I use to tell when my prescriptions are ready is inconsistent, for example I will randomly receive phone calls even though I never signed up to be notified via phone calls and I still get them even when I tell the pharmacists to not contact me that way. In addition to that, they will tell me a prescription is not ready even when I receive a text message saying it is, and also in reverse, they will have my prescription ready for hours without telling me. When I call this pharmacy, I typically deal with pharmacists that are unhelpful in doing basic tasks (talking to me about prices of medications, updating new information, cancelling prescriptions I no longer need, etc.) Also I frequently run into being put on hold for absolutely no reason.All of this is specific to this Meijer pharmacy. I do not run into these problems anywhere else.

0 communication between them and their other phaymacys. Tried sending me away right when i got there without listening to the situation. They got overwhelmed at how long the line was growing so they asked me to step aside while they work on solving the problem. It has been 20 minutes with no answers or help while they help other people in line with no idea or timeline given on how long I would be waiting. How long am I supposed to sit with no communication?

I don't care for Meijer in general, how they manipulate buy 5 get one free or any other way to get you to buy, but to the stores credit the pharmacy has a flow to it and a remarkable staff!!!

Staff that answered phone was very rude with her tone of voice to me. Seems like ever time I try to fill my daughters Rx lately it is not in stock or I have to wait an hour in line for them to get it filled. This is AFTER I call to have this filled several hours prior to me picking it up. I have been asked to drive back around and come thru the drive thru again in about 30min... which I did & the Rx wasn't ready then-so I waited ANOTHER 30min. I don't understand why we have so many issues filling Rx -told conflicting things as to when the shipment went in and then told it doesn't come in til a later time. I just don't understand why this is so difficult now to fill my daughters Rx... :(

Dan at the Meijer Pharmacy is not good with customer service at all. Any time we have gone to Meijer to get a prescription he is not helpful or friendly. It would be easier to not mind that the wait is always terrible if the customer service was good. Switching to another pharmacy after this last experience. It wasn't a one time thing either. If he had one bad day I could understand, but we have been treated badly by the same pharmacist on 4 different occasions.

Terrible communication. Prescriptions disappear from auto-refill list, they don't tell you. Have had several times where they call but don't have anything ready. Just feels really chaotic and disorganized. And the lines are typically 15-30 minutes. I'm moving my stuff to Walgreen's.

Pharmacy is usually efficient but the drive thru speaker system is terrible they can't hear us we can't hear them. You would think as much money as they make, it would be possible for them to provide a proper intercom system.

We’ve had multiple problems with this Meijer, on multiple occasions we’ve gone through and shopped just to have their communications go out and their card machines go down. It’s a common problem that isn’t getting fixed. The service of the staff could is also slow, it isn’t completely their fault, their aren’t enough people on shifts at times.

Even though they occasionally screw things up😋 I wouldn't go anywhere else they're always willing to help and go out of their way to do so.... I love being able to use the drive thru if I want and to prescription shop with good reviews....

Drive thru is painfully slow. I find it quicker to park, hike all the way into the store, then hike back out to the car. Meanwhile, the cars in the drive thru have not moved. Not worth having a drive thru in my opinion.
