Good size store, big enough for a wide selection of produce, but small enough to navigate easily, but I will say, as a teenager who shops there regularly, I’ve noticed that employees sometimes will eye me in ways that aren’t exactly what I would call nice. Even thought I’ve been going to that same store for years, I’m always treated with hesitation like I’m about to go steal something, even though I’ve never shown any disrespect or suspicious behavior. The employees are discriminatory for just my age.

Staff is very rasist!! Shopped here on Xmas using a gift certificate that I was awarded and employee treated me like I had a disease! Didn’t greet me but greeted every customer which was white before me. Told them have a nice Xmas and night she didn’t say neither to me! But me being the nice women I am I told her even though she was nasty to me.! Come on this is 2023 there is no colored/whites only I really wish people wake up! This has happened to me everytime I’ve shopped here! I’ll never return!

I like Hardings. It's smaller, so your selections are somewhat smaller, but all the basics are covered. The prices are higher, but the convenience of being able to run in, grab a few things, and leave in 10 minutes, an impossibility in a large store, make the prices worth it. The employees are always nice, friendly and helpful. The store is very clean. But be careful-their fresh deli foods, bakery items, fresh produce, and sale items may result in you, like me yesterday, going in for a bag of potatoes and ending up getting $57 of groceries!

I’ve been a regular customer at this Hardings for the last 8 years. Everything is ok, until there’s a problem. Their online shopping is flawed. They charge you upfront, for items that may be a different price in store. I overpaid, and nothing was fixed. I also purchased an eight piece bag of chicken, and they gave me 7 little wing dings, not once did they say “we don’t have all of the pieces.” When I brought it to their attention they refused to do anything to make it right. That is a horrible way to treat a regular customer. Hardings is a good place to shop, but when they make a mistake it’s the customers loss. I am really starting to regret spending $100, & $200 every week at this store.

I would not recommend anyone of color to go to these stores . I’ve been to three different locations and I’ve been mistreated at every location . My groceries thrown at me dirty looks mean remarks towards me . I do not recommend going here to no one .

I love their deli! Great for a quick hot lunch. Self serve counter and they weigh at the register. You pay by the pound. Great selection and it changes. Update: with concerns for COVID the deli bar is not self serve anymore. The person at the deli counter gets what you might want. They are wearing gloves and genuinely seem like they do their best to take precautions. Great place!Update: 06/2022The deli still rocks! It is still served by the deli person because of COVID. They have been having a lot of great choices to choose from. I have in the past not been to impressed with their produce section. It is improving! It has been much better than I remember it being. All in all, they do a good job 😊 and they are always friendly. Check them out...Update: 12/2022Great lunch spot! Deli has a great selection of hot food every day. I've been noticing some new changes in the store like new equipment and recent updates. Great neighborhood grocery store. Give these friendly folks a try.Update: 04/23Great neighborhood grocery store... They have been making some upgrades and they do a wonderful job here. Your deli sells chicken and advertising thighs but the you are selling chicken backs, chicken thighs have 1 bone like a leg not abreast bone like yours why are you selling them as thighs. I grew up on a farm I know the difference won't buy your chicken thighs again!!!!

My cashier was so friendly. He noticed my tshirt and we had a good chat about Harry Potter. Prices were a bit pricey paid over $4 for a gal. of skim milk.

As you see produce is horrible, been finding all the Harding's Markets in Kalamazoo are like this, Galesburg location is worse with produce, disgusting and health department needs to step in

The produce must be used right away or it goes bad. I seldom am thanked for my business. Never hear a please when asking for my money. Very poor training is given to these cashiers or they don't care if you return. When the older cashiers worked they had manners.

My absolute favorite store to shop at when I visit Adrian Michigan. Fresh and reasonablypriced food. Employees are so friendly. I live 2 hours away, but I always stop in there when I'm in town to shop and take home with me .

Not only are prices RIDICULOUS (the owner is a theif) BUT they're all extremelyextremely rude. I knew a worker there the sweetest thing and they were rude to her and bullied this girl to the point of quitting and needing rehab and therapy. Trust me they all hate their job as much as they hate you.. They also follow u around the store IF you LOOK suspect. They literally harassed me till they seen I was paying for my stuff and apologized and snarled at me but seriously?!?! Is that what we're running here?!

A great experience. Nice atmosphere, good prices, great meat and fresh produce. Also a big variety of other products. You truly see many friendly faces...they seem to have a small turnover in employees.Location is all good.

I was happy to pay a lot more and purchase my groceries here, since the location is good and I like to shop at locally-owned businesses. In the past two weeks, I’ve spent over $200 st this store (it’s A LOT more expensive than Meijer and WAY more expensive than Aldi). I was happy to pay more since they’re close to me and locally owned. However, not anymore. They charged me twice for an item and said they’re completely unable to refund my money over the phone. My husband just had surgery, so obviously I dint have a lot of time. Now I need to drive back there to get a refund even though it was their mistake. They didn’t offer me anything for my wasted time. I won’t be shopping here anymore. They should have found a way to make it easy for me and they didn’t. What am I paying extra for if not great service?

Pretty good for a Harding's Market. Their pre-cooked foods sometimes are not so great. Their don't have a very large fresh foods selection, but are certainly fresh and pretty good. And the employees are always great.

Brightly lit friendly service. The prices are a bit high but if you need something quick they usually have it. A very good mix of products and the produce section is always fresh and inviting.The prices are the only reason I don't give 5 stars.Oh and an extra bonus they are steps from bus route.

The people are friendly (except some deli workers), store is clean and well stocked but they lose 2 stars because the deli is a joke. Stopped to buy chicken twice and they never have any ready and it will always be at least an hour. Go to the D & W down the road, they always have it ready to go and a better selection of sides. For the same price.

Waiting in line with five items for a woman with a hundred and five items! Finally someone came and opened up the next Lane but took the people at the very end of the line. The scraggly cashier that waiting on me literally glared at me! Never spoke, told me my total or said Thank you. Nothing! Harding's has really gone downhill!

Excellent place to shop for a community grocery store. But the price is a good majority of merchandise is very expensive. But at times I do have good sales. The cashiers they have now are very nice they had the old women in there which were rude I'm glad they got rid of them.

This store is an older Harding's they gave it a pretty face-lift however the money would have been better spent updating Inside of it. Produce looked much better today. This store would benefit greatly from an inside makeover.

Always fast and usually has the things I need. John is my fav cashier, he's super nice and talkative and Miss Cindy in the deli area is literally the nicest person ever and will def get you whatever you need!!

Heather the manger on Cork Street was very disrespectful when speaking with the customers, I was standing in line just to buy sour cream. She slammed a closed sign right next to me and yelled “THIS LANE IS CLOSED!!” then eye rolled and as if I was supposed to know that she politely told the lady behind me the she will help her on the next lane. I stayed in the lane I was in because she put the closed sign down after the fact I was already standing there the young gentleman was still willing to ring me up but I refused because I who wants to buy something from a place when you feel disrespected when it could have been handled better then that. I refuse to ever buy from this store ever again. I’m stressed too I but I would never treat anyone like that in my lone of work. Not very pleased with management.

Great for last minute items. Good fried chicken and some select cuts of steak are pretty good. Hours are good, even on holidays. Just gotta watch the prices on some food items. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars.

Stopped into Harding's for milk. The store is very well lit, clean, & you can easily navigate inside. Many parking spaces outside as well.
