Where to start with this little place. The hometown diner atmosphere, the smiling face when you walk in the door, the friendly service and absolutely great home cooked style meals? This little place is simply overall amazing. A very hard working Family owned diner. Once again the food is like I'd prepare for my own family (I've been a Chef for 40 yrs) and just like my table you better come with an appetite! You get all that you pay for and then some and in today's economy that's really saying something. I highly recommend stopping in this place and giving them the support they deserve if you're in their neck of the woods.BTW my wife had Southwest Hash with Cinnamon Raisin Toast and I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a couple of over medium eggs on top. Delicious!! And don't mind all the hot sauce we like our food spicy!

We stopped in to Goody's today for lunch. We had never been here before. So, glad we stopped. We had the cheese steak hoagie and the cowboy pork sandwich. They were both so good. Kim was amazingly attentive and kind waitress and even handled a hard to please customer with grace and kindness. Great hometown feel.

Sorry, this is what is left lol. Needless to say it was good. Kids thoroughly enjoyed pancakes, french toast, eggs, toast, and bacon. I had a breakfast burrito with yummy hash browns. I was looking for a cozy place and I found one.

Goody's Sauk Trail Diner is small, in need of some updating, but otherwise is well put together and full of friendly faces. Their walls are ordained with paintings which can be bought and are pleasant to look at while you enjoy a decent sized meal for a great price. I ordered the Rancher, a burger with an onion ring, pulled pork, pepper jack cheese and some coleslaw. Burger was well done, I enjoyed every bite. My only recommendation would be to add bbq. My mother enjoyed a Buffalo chicken wrap, she said it needed more lettuce, but it was otherwise a decent wrap. Both meals came with a bag of chips but fries or onion rings can be added instead for a small upcharge. If you are ever out and about, stop in to support one of Hillsdale county's resturants, this place is worth it.

Absolutely delicious and unbelievably good. All Americana style classic eating. Just stopped in coming home from Michigan Speedway by chance, and we found our new favorite lunch dinner within a 2 hour drive for us. Guaranteed to love this place!Parking: Plenty of parking and entire area is only used for customers.Kid-friendliness: 100% family-friendly vibe.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access.

Nice place, not busy when we were there. Staff was very friendly. Food was good, we had breakfast. Pricing wasn’t too bad compared to other places and considering how much food we got. All food was “home cooked”.Food came out quick and hot! Lithe Philly omelette was good and my wife had the country burrito that was also very good. I would recommend this place for breakfast and will definitely be back to try lunch.

Went here for the first time recently.Wife had French toast and bacon. She liked it.I had country fried steak, eggs, and toast. I liked it.Food was good. It was cooked quickly. They give you a lot. They do not skimp. Prices are about average.They might benefit from additional staff on the weekend. Our server was the only one working. But she was nice.

I normally don't write reviews, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to brag about how awesome this restaurant is. All of their food is homemade and it shows. I have had breakfast and dinner and I cannot express how amazing their food is. I have been to the south and have had southern bbq many times and this is by far the BEST bbq I have had in the north. If you are wanting a good homemade meal at competitive prices, then this place is for you. You won't be disappointed!!

Best Food Ive had in a long time. Had the best philly cheese steak sandwich I have ever had ! Loaded mac n cheese is awesome too, need to keep exploring their menu. Prices are very reasonable and the taste and quality is top notch.

I love good BBQ, I was hoping this was a place to get some. I intended to order a meat platter. Unfortunately the meat is sauced so I did not order a platter. Good BBQ does not need to be sauced as that will bury the flavor of the meat. I have been to hundreds of BBQ restaurants, food trucks and trailers. The truly good ones never sauce their meat.I ordered a burger instead. Goodys is in a competition for best burger so I figured they would have a good one. . The burger was cooked WELL done although I asked for medium. The only flavor from the meat was the burnt/charred outside crust..... the burger was topped with dry pulled pork covered in sauce.....If you like BBQ sauce maybe this is a place to try, if you like true bbq/smoked meat go elsewhere.

Picked up togo a few weeks ago...ribs were great!! Sent our kids there today, they are visiting from Florida. There meals were fantastic!! Rid dinner and philly steak. Keep it up...we need good food, decent prices and a clean joint!! Will return for sure!

Right now is a difficult time to start a business, but if Goody's keeps up what they're doing, they should do just fine. They have friendly staff, quick service, great food, and decent prices. I was very happy with the food here and look forward to eating here again.

Quality was good owner was super nice.Just need to work on menu selection.It leaves a bit to be desired as a diner.The smoky burnt ends were good.. Could be a good BBQ smoke house .. the meat was excellent.
