I have been going to this pharmacy for the last few years and have never had a negative experience or issue arise. Everything has always been accurate and efficient. They have a high volume of customers and I am impressed with how they handle it all so well. I was quite surprised to see that there were so many negative reviews here when I have been here dozens of times and have yet to be disappointed. I have picked up prescriptions mostly via drive-through, but occasionally I’ve picked up inside while I was shopping. We’ve also gotten vaccinations done here and have always had good experiences.Working with the general public and handling such high-volume is far from easy. Thank you for your hard work!

Both kids ages 3 and 10months had to get amoxicillin filled here. They used to give flavored ones for kids to take. But today’s wasn’t flavored and just tasted of pure chalk. When I called and asked to get it flavored so my kids would take it the guy who answered said they no longer offer flavor for kids medicine. I called my DR office to inform them and to see my options were, my only option was to get a new prescription for each kid sent to Walgreens instead so it would be flavor and pay out of pocket because insurance won’t cover it again. My Dr then called Meijer to ask when they stopped doing flavor in medicine for kids and they said they still do but just wouldn’t do it for mine. Will not be returning anymore.

Love this place! I messed up and didn’t notice I didn’t have any refills left on my RX on a medication I need. It was a weekend and the dr was closed. They gave me an emergency dose until I could call the dr for a refill. They have always been so helpful and I’m very thankful!

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I’ve given this place multiple chances. They always have an attitude & almost never know what the hell they’re actually talking about. They don’t know the difference between nebulizer pieces & inhaler pieces. Just picked up some meds from here less than an hour ago & the tech that was working the drive through was incredibly rude. No “hi how are you”, just straight business. Which would’ve been fine, had you not been able to hear the disdain & annoyance in her voice. Didn’t want to answer questions, & refused to use more than one word when answering. After we got our bag, we waited a few minutes not knowing if there was anything else because she didn’t say “okay, that’s it” or “okay, have a nice day” just ended the transaction without so much as a “okay, bye”. Switching to Walmart pharmacy because they’re more knowledgeable, and don’t mind actually doing their job.

HORRIBLE customer service!! Don’t ask questions because they don’t have time. Don’t attempt to pick up multiple prescriptions for multiple people in your family that’s too much for them to handle. Don’t expect to scripts to ready for pick up after the app says they are ready. Pray you don’t get Addison as your tech her rude interactions, cutting you off while speaking, and eyerolls when asking a question is ridiculous! Meijers should be ashamed to have such employees!! Oh and forget about updating family members information so it’s correct they don’t! I wish i could say this a one time situation but it is not. We started using Meijer Pharmacy in Jension February 2023 because it was close to our new home and the app seemed to be great but it has been just awful. Sorry now we ever switched. Not a great pharmacy when you have chronic health issues with multiple family members in one home that rely on medication to stay healthy. Hoping it’s just the location and the Meijer staff a different location will be better. Jenison Meijer Pharmacy DO BETTER!!

I wondered if it was just me who had poor experiences with this pharmacy, but clearly not. An issue arises every time I go there. I went to Hudsonville Meijer pharmacy until a few months ago and I always had a great experience. If there was an issue, they always went out of their way to make it right. Half the time here, the situation usually resolves after several minutes of headache when someone is like, "Oh. We were looking at the wrong thing." or "Oh, we pushed the wrong button."Absolutely disgusting how this place is run.I wonder how many people have died or had to visit the emergency room because they entrusted this pharmacy with their medical care.

This Pharmacy gets one star for the convenience of picking up a prescription while shopping for groceries. However, the prescriptions are rarely correct and not completed when told. On my last visit I was told my prescription would be ready in one hour. When I arrived the prescription was not done and they told me they did not have any left all while I waited at the counter for 25 minutes for them to try and figure it out. I transferred across the street to Walgreen's, who had it filled in 15 minutes with a very nice staff to add to it.

Great Staff dealing w/ impatient rude customers. As a 5 years customer, they have always been kind, professional and helpful.From teaching me about GoodRx to helping fill a late prescription for my dog as she was suffering from cancer (that's right, they even were caring about my sweet dog)There is a typically a line due to its large customer base. In the 100s of times I have waited, it has been shocking to hear how rude and short the customers are to the staff. I would not work there if I was treated that way...so I give them more props for showing up every day with a smile. 👍🙂

I have had a lot of issues with this pharmacy and so has my family. I've gone to pick up prescriptions hours after they were called in and they weren't ready. A lot of times I was told , "We didn't know you'd want that right away," for things like antibiotics that I really needed to start! Some workers are pleasant, but I've also had issues with a number of them.

Not a great pharmacy. Staff is plenty nice, but prescriptions are rarely ready when they tell you they should be. Show up hours after the script should be ready, wait in line for 15 minutes to wait another 20 minutes for them to fill the script. If that's what you like, man is this the pharmacy for you!

Nearly everytime we come to fill a prescription (in person or over the phone) the prescription is not ready for pick up when we are told it is ready. They used to text or call when a percription was as ready. However, today I asked what phone number was on file and they did not have one... Today was the straw that broke the camels back. The same scenario happened above. The prescription was suppose to be ready at 11:30 and at 2:35 it was finally ready after waiting for 45 minutes. This prescription is off of the shelf. Not only did they try to tell me that they did not have it, I had to take it off the shelf and bring it up to the pharmacy myself. I was told they could fill half of the prescription, but they are sending me home with a 7 day supply. Do not waste your time with this pharmacy!

I went here to fill three prescriptions for my dog who just had surgery. I brought them in & the guy said it would be 30mins but he would try to rush it. An hour later I finally walk out with the prescriptions BUT when I got home I realized they forgot to fill one of them. I’m a little irritated that I had to wait WAY longer than they said & I still didn’t get what I needed.

This pharmacy is the worst place I have ever been to. They took over a week to fill my Rx and repeatedly told me it would be ready the next day even though, come the next day, it wasn't ready. They are overloaded with prescriptions and can not handle the work load there- do NOT go to this pharmacy if you want to have your medicine on time. The staff was also very unprofessional and clearly had no idea what was going on since they couldn't understand how to even work their own system and figure out when my Rx would be in.

If I could give 0 i would! This is the worst pharmacy!! Nothing is ever ready on time, even 24 hrs after you get text saying it will be. I get different excuses on why it's not ready both times and the guy was rude and annoyed with the fact I was confirming prescription # given in text wasn't ready.

I think it is time for me to find a new Pharmacy. Whenever I go there you do have to wait a while, which it to be expected and service is ok, but what I can't stand is when they don't have the meds I need available. Just recently I needed to pick up a prescription for my daughter that the doctor had called in that morning. Didn't get a phone call that it was ready so the next morning I went to the story to pick it up, hoping it would be there. Waited in line for about 10-15 minutes then it is my turn and they tell me they don't have the medicine on hand. Said they called to see if I wanted them to order it (umm ok?? never got a phone call) or they could check another store. I requested they just order it and was told it would be ready Monday morning. Monday comes along wait till 1:00pm still no call, call the story and they do have it and it is ready. Luckily this isn't for anything major, but this isn't the first time. I have had this before with breathing treatment for Asthma and ear infection medicines, which are both important. So I'm thinking Mperks and $20 coupons are worth it anymore and time to part ways with them.

I tried to use Meijer pharmacy today. They didn't know up from down.Stike 1: I had to wait while they fumbled through my insurance plan (It's understandable, but come on.)Strike 2: They came back and said I could only get 20 of a 30 day supply through the discount on my insurance. (Not the end of the world.)Strike 3: They wouldn't sell me the last 10 days worth for the non-discounted price. When I asked what the cash price is for all 30 days, it was almost double what I normally pay.Here's the best part. So I drive over to Walgreens, and it literally took less than 10 min to get my 30 day script filled, all at the discounted price.Overall I like Meijer, but their pharmacy is no bueno.

I switched to meijer from Walgreens. Not really sure which is worse. It takes them FOREVER to do anything. The staff is generally rude and acts like it is an inconvenience to have to help you. In the last month they have had many on my prescriptions that they were out of or could only fill a partial. So after having to wait in their SUPER LONG lines to pick up, I have to come back again. Thank you for wasting my time.

Not organized at all. 2 meds to fill, told 2 meds were ready, showed up, no meds ready. Long wait when returned. Told to wait for pill count verification. Sit down and wait, 45 mins later I check in “oh yeah, it’s been right here the whole time.”

I have nothing but trouble at this pharmacy. It takes forever to fill scripts, the staff seem disgruntled and unmotivated to hurry, and unapologetic when they screw up. I guess free meds are nice, but I'd rather pay a few dollars for generics and not be agitated every time I interact with them.

Try a different pharmacy. I'm not sure what the problem is, but there is always an issue. They have lost my prescriptions and most recently taken over a week to tell me they wouldn't even be able to fill one. Lines are long and quality to lacking. Every time I go at least one person in line is upset or left waiting.

Yes, they are extremely busy all of the time so it takes a little longer than some other pharmacies but the staff there is awesome and always super friendly and knowledgeable.

If you tell someone 25 to 30 minutes then you need to actually be close to that. I have a kid waiting for pain meds with a broken arm and I have been waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes...so far...
