Stopped here on our way back home from vacationing in Lexington. The Playground was super fun for the kids, the orchard was nice, and we could have our dog with us outside on his leash. The donuts were exceptionally tasty and the cider slushies were fun to try- I've never seen other orchards/mills have those, and I've been to several. The staff was happy and helpful. Great place!

Really friendly family owns it now. Our girls had such a great time here. Hasn't gone wildly mainstream and overpriced like others in the area. It's now in our regular rotation of "things to do". And there is literally something interesting in every square foot of the place. The goats rock, too! š

Fun day for the whole family. The donuts and cider were amazing. Staff super friendly. Went and did apple picking and our little girl loved it.The sunflowers bloomed late this year so we were able to see them and they were gorgeous.Recommend this orchard. They even gave us a ride out to the apples and told us the history of the orchard. You can tell the people there really love their jobs.

The cider and doughnuts were so fresh. The atmosphere was very inviting. Prices were fair. The tree species signs need improvement.(missing or hard to read) The Golden Delicious trees we could find were overtaken by vines. Unfortunately. they didn't have any in the shop either. We went to a big box store to get some.

Staffs friendly but this place is pretty run down. Animals live in small area that looks neglected. The kids play area is old and probably a hazard, one of the swing sets is leaning, random rotting logs, peeling paint, garbage, rotting pumpkins.. Its obviously not taken care of and they donāt seem to care.

I would just like to say that I love this Cider Mill! I have been there 3 times this year. The first time, I took my kids to get cider and donuts. The staff was friendly and helpful. The second time, I took my 2 boys to the haunted house, (2 friends of there's came too) haunted hayride, and 2 escape rooms. The staff made it a memorable night for their first time. The third time, was just this past Saturday. I took my daughter to see Santa. She was the only one there for a few minutes so she got one on one time with Santa. A very friendly elf cave over and gave her a cookie to decorate and eat. She decorated gingerbread man for the tree as well. And then Ray the owner told her there were bunnies so she was able to hold a couple bunnies in Santa helped. All in all I have never had a bad experience there. It is a family-oriented environment in my opinion. The staff is always friendly and on point. I would highly recommend this place for your next outing.

I can't comment on the orchard itself for pick your own. You can pick your own fruit or buy already bagged in the store. They serve doughnuts and Apple Cider Slushie!OMGoodness. Cinnamon Doughnuts are delish. Slushie so good. Buy your doughnuts/slushi sit inside or at one of the picnic tables outside.Fruit, chips, jellies, various flavored wines, apparel or other misc. products. There's a wine tasting bar.A kids playground.Buy some feed and go out to where the goats are and feed them.Bathrooms handicapped accessible! All handicapped accessible!

My family and I very much enjoyed McCallums apple orchard overall. There are, however, a few things that added to my decision to give it 4 stars instead of 5. Everything was pretty expensive and they seemed to charge for a lot. For example, they charged for cups after we paid almost 6 dollars for a half gallon of cider. They wanted to charge us to take us back in the orchard to pick our own apples. We are young so we walked but that would just be a nice addition to the experience instead of charging for it. Perhaps specific times for rides might cut down on the cost for them. The apples were good. The trees were trimmed so it was fairly easy access to the trees. Few briars but no big deal. The rows, however, were not easy to get down. We had a stroller and the grass was really high. If it wasn't for the large tires, it wouldn't have been easy to get down the rows. This combined with the apples on the ground made it difficult. One thing that I would encourage the owners to update/change is the signage for the apples. It's difficult to know exactly what you are picking since half the rows have no signage.Upront they have a playground area as well as ponies, chickens, goats, and bunnies, which was nice for the kids. All in all we were happy with our trip. On a side note, it looks like they had a corn maze and were setting up for a haunted hayride and/or zombie ride? It's October so lots of fun stuff to do. Hope this helps.Went back this year (2020-what a year) and they have added a bunch of things. It's all nice, but...., a bit messy. McCallums , my opinion is this. Do several things and do them REALLY well. Do not do ALL THE THINGS but do them mediocre or half way. Oh, and clean up the piles of stuff/clutter everywhere!! (no charge for that advice š).

Goats, apples, cider, what more could you want. I know the most amazing Cinnamon Sugar donuts! This was our 1st visit here and oh my they have the best donuts I have had at any mill. Kiddies can pick pumpkins, feed goats, or play on the playground area.

i felt kind of catfished by the photos i was really excited to see the animals , because the photos make it look like they have a interactive petting farm but in reality itās just a corner of neglected animals , the goat pen is just trashed and depressing , and the bunnies have small hutches with wire floors , the donuts are good but iād rather not give someone who neglects animals my money , blakeās is a better alternative

Our family loves coming here for great memories. No matter what the season McCallum's is offering great opportunities for families, most at no cost!!! We have enjoyed their free craft days, santa visits, and playground. We love the fall tradition activities as well, including pumpkin picking, apple picking, sunflower maze and tractor rides. I look forward to the many memories my young family will experience and grow to love here.

We love the donuts and cider! We come every year for the family event and corn maze! My son loves the animals. The haunted attraction was great also. I love that they offer some of their great items at the farmers market in Marysville very convenient for me. Still haven't gotten to try the wine but looking forward to it.

The best cider & donuts š© weāve had in a very long time. We went to Blakes last year and it was a zoo - so over priced for garbage. This is our new spot. Canāt wait for another visit when weāre in the area. Chill cozy vibe as well very family friendly.

There's some playground equipment for the kids. The store was ok. We bought salsa, chips, donuts, mixes, and more. The cashier didn't bag the items and my husband asked if we could have them bagged up. The girl handed him a bag to do it himself. I purchased 2 more items on the next transaction and again no bag. When I gave the girl my money and then said I had the change she said, " Oh I already put it on and it's automated." Out of habit I put tip in her jar which I seriously regret. There was no thank you from the girl either. WHY ON EARTH IS THERE A TIP JAR WHEN THE CASHIER GIVES YOU ABSOLUTELY NO SERVICE!? Don't expect tips from customers when it's too difficult to give the bare minimum. This was my first time here and will definitely be last. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because the cider donuts were pretty good. So. Just a fair warning to potential newcomers.....you might like the donuts but don't expect decent service.

Our fave place! Love cherry picking! My mom, who lives in Canada, constantly brings up how much fun it was and how amazing the area is! Living in Lexington, this is the closest orchard to us, and we love it! Best donuts and cider. The cider slushies with the mini donuts? š can't wait to bring our pup to see Santa tomorrow!

The place is okay to play at for awhile and the prices are pretty reasonable, but the food truck they have on site is AWFUL. I've seriously had frosting less sweet than the BBQ sauce and the ribs were completely dried out. He charges 7 dollars for a pulled pork sandwich that comes on a dinner roll. Don't waste your money on his food, but enjoy the festivities!

Great place to take your family for an old fashioned day of fun! When my son was younger one of his teachers (she was also,my good friend's mother)"borrowed" him to go help her pick apples. He had never done it before and was thrilled! After that we had to go often because he had so much fun. Now he takes his own kids there! They love it, too.

If there was a zero star Iād rate it zero but thereās not so I give it a one. Horrible place not worth 40$ in my book. Corn Maze was horrible it was a dollar for a two minute corn maze it was Litterally 2 turns and thatās it. Also at the inflatables itās 3$ for one time!!!! Me and my cousin were watching my little cousins on it and my little cousin told me too go in with him the lady who was watching it said in a rude voice, Do You Have a ticket!!! He said no. She said u are NOT going on! So we waited for my little cousin at the end of the inflatable course. The lady came back and yelled at us thinking we were gonna sneak on through the back. But all we were doing was watching our little cousin. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOUR LOOKING TO GO SOMEWHERE AND HAVE FUN AND NOT WASTE MONEY THIS PLACE IS NOT THE PLACE!

I went here this weekend (August 2021) and feel the need to write a review because I came here based on the amazing reviews and was extremely disappointed. Mainly there are pretty much no animals⦠I read one review that said they have feed machines for a quarter. There were no machines and no feed for the goats, chickens, and bunnies which was what animals they had. Pretty disappointing after driving 40 minutes to get there. Their website said there was an event going on⦠but maybe we got there too early because there was just one other family on the playground and we honesty thought it was closed at first. The most off putting part was the first thing we did was go inside to ask about what all there was to do there and the girl behind the front counter didnāt know! She couldnāt answer any questions we had and didnāt even know if they sold singular donuts. Yes, the donut was seriously amazing, but there are playgrounds closer to our house and without any sort of guidance or assistance we just left. I see they comment back to defend their reviews and are probably nice people with a nice orchard but this was a complete waste of time for my family no matter what their āexcuseā is.

Could have been alot cleaner and organized. The live animal section was goats and rabbits the the cages were filthy! Trash, broken debris everywhere. The food truck they brought in was good. Also had a kids decorating cookie section which was cute.

Wonderful place for the kids! They are always thinking of the children for holiday events. We took our grandchildren there this year for Halloween. One got her facepainted and the other got to ride a horse for the first time There donuts are great, my place of employment even ordered from them for Halloween

Disappointing compared to last year. Apples in large wooden bins, lots of bruises, not alot of choices in apples, either.Cashier was friendly and chatty, we liked him. However, we will find another place to buy apples due to quality this year.Very disappointed.

Wife, kids and I went and it was awesome the sunflowers were in full bloom, cider and donuts were really good as well. We got the Carmel, birthday cake, and cinnamon donuts. Their sunflower maze has several spots within it to take amazing pictures. They have reasonable prices for their wine tasting as well.
