This company was absolutely amazing. We just moved to MI and my job put me up in a hotel until we get into our house that was not per friendly. They have since placed us in a pet friendly hotel, but I’m so grateful for this company. While it’s a little more than some others Linda and Julie made the stay so much better for our cats. They took care of them and even gave them a grooming unasked. I can’t thank them enough. If you’re going to board your animals please go here. You get more than what you’re paying for because they both care about the animals, they love on them and spoil them. If I ever need to board again, I’m coming here and I may even come to get them groomed! So worth it!

I boarded my dog with this company when I dropped her of she was clean but when I picked her she had crusty fur like she had been laying in filth it went from the middle of her back to her side I asked how she got this on her was told she must have been licking herself. There is no way a dog can lick their back or front shoulder. I will not be going back!

We had an excellent experience here. We boarded our Golden Doodle Berry here overnight and Linda was terrific. We were worried because he has separation anxiety and it was our first time leaving him. Top Dog made this experience “Top Notch” and we will definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you.The Murillos

My dog loves it here. I see others have had a bad experience. I don't expect much in the way of discourse from them but the rates for boarding are good and the dog likes her so who cares.I haven't had any trouble with my 65lb well behaved dog there after a dozen or more stays.

I have a giant dog - a Newfoundland. Her coat was matted in spots and she smelled. She's so huge that it was hard for me to groom on my own. Took her to top dog and it was TOP NOTCH! My dog was beautiful again. They did an excellent job. Tonya was very helpful in explaining everything to me and helping me come up with a plan to maintain her coat. The price was great too!!!!! I was more than impressed!!

Thanks to the reviews, I most definitely will not allow my dogs any where near these people. Thank you for sharing your experiences. It is very important to read the reviews. Also their website is useless, it has no information!

We have taken our dogs to Top Dog many times over the past years. They have always been treated good and we are very pleased with the care they are given. Since they get to play together in the yard they are very happy. We will be taking them back, they love it there.

I absolutely do not recommend Topdog Pet Care on 17th street Jackson MI. Picked Emma up and two out of 4 paw pads are cut up. No idea why she came home limping and I called the lady and all she said was that Emma played hard. How do you not notice a dog is limping when it is your job to take care of said dog! Ugh. Poor Emma. 🤬😡😤 I have no idea what to do. At least take responsibility for something that you missed.

Our dog has had anxiety over the years, and Tonya was able to handle her and give her the kind of cut that we asked for. Tonya has left the company now, and the owner insists that our dog is no longer able to be groomed because she is too old and fidgety, and nobody on her staff can handle her. My wife was told that our dog bit the groomers, but when pushed, the owner admitted that she doesn't bite, but only is anxious. The overall feeling is that our business is no longer wanted or needed. We will be looking for a new place to get our dog groomed. Very disappointing.

We Love it here! Benji gets groomed and they do such a great job with him being such a big dog. Boarding is awesome. Easy drop off and pick up process.

Have been patronizing this groomer for eight years with two cocker spaniels. The last few visits one of my dogs has become difficult and uncooperative. Tried to work with the owner to determine a course of action, including medications to calm the dog. She was nothing but rude and unhelpful. The last appt they refused to groom him, and charged $50 anyway. We have paid them THOUSANDS of dollars in the last eight years! Will NEVER go back! Recommend that you find another groomer.

Today Topdog Pet Care lost our business forever. We used to take our lovely dog Brady there to get his nails trimmed and have been doing so for close to a year. Today the lady, who I later found out is one of the owners, refused to finish clipping Brady's nails.The lady had taken our dog into the back to have his nails trimmed and not even 30 seconds later I hear him yelping (not barking). She then comes out with my dog and says she cannot help me and I have to take him elsewhere. When I ask why, she says, "I REFUSE to work with a Pitbull with out him having a muzzle on." I was confused because we have NEVER had to muzzle him before and he has always been fine. Anyways before I begin to offer solutions to the problem, I look down and see that she had clipped his nerve and he was now bleeding and in pain!The tone in her voice and the way she spoke to me, it was clear she wanted nothing to do with Brady, for the simple fact that he is a Pitbull. What's unfortunate is that she didn't even offer for me to assist to hold him while she clipped his nails (Which we've done before there with other employees) or allow us to put a muzzle on so she felt comfortable.The worst part is she couldn't even own up to her mistake of clipping his nerve and causing him to bleed even after I called her out on it. She just kept being rude and blaming Brady for being a Pit for her mistake.Needless to say, we will NEVER be returning there and if you have a so called "aggressive Pitbull" you might want to think twice also. I'm really bummed because other employees there have been nothing but lovely to us and our dog Brady, but when the rudeness and the words she said come from one of the OWNERS that is not a company I want to support.

I paid $100 deposit to reserve a spot for my dog to stay the weekend I signed nothing and when I showed none was there and now the same woman refused to give me my money back… the website has no details on refund policies or even paying policies. This place is joke for boarding any dog!!!!

I absolutely HATE going here... every time I take my dog to get her nails trimmed she makes her bleed it's ridiculous she's also the owner of the place... I will always go to unleashed and lovin it... they have never made my dogs paws bleed this women is cruel to animals and has zero sympathy

I would never take my dog to this groomer ever again! She is mean to my dog , rude to me and she cut my dogs leg, had me pay before she told me and then brought him out and told me I might have to take him to the vet !!!
