Was in there today. Home Depot’s website states they had the item I was looking for and the shelf it was on. I got in the store and it was no where to be found. One of the associates asked if I needed help. I showed her the website info and she looked with me. Another associate came up and he began to search too. They both searched and searched until they were able to find it. While it would have been nice if the item was where their website said it was, I can’t thank the associates for going above and beyond to find it. Thank you Home Depot!

What a joke. I tried to pay a credit card payment for someone else. Asked the blond with extremely dirty hair to help me. She is clearly in charge. After she got very loud with me about why am I trying to make a home depot credit card payment with another credit card???? Am I trying to mess up her stuff?? So I walked away. Walked to my car.got cash. Found the onmy other cashier because I wasn't going to go back to that super rude loud lady. He wouldn't even try to scan my card because he is new. Like wouldn't even try to problem solve something he has never done before. I'm sure it's easy as the alphabet but heaven forbid him look at the screen for credit card payment. I left. Walked by loud lady again while she was yelling it up with her guy coworkers. F u guys

Had a very poor experience at customer service. Was told no and met with unfriendly staff before I could even ask my question. Overbearing staff was unhelpful and unknowledgeable and I felt they were just saying no to get rid of me instead of looking up my product with a home depo model number that I provided. Luckily some of the staff ignored these workers and looked up the products to help me with the questions I asked.

The model on display would be the display model, said item is not in stock and now is marked down, however you refuse to sell me the the display model? Yeah that's great, if it's not for sale then why mark it down, better yet why is it on display. Thanks for wasting my time.

First time project purchase. I requested a mix tile and vinyl plank install in my kitchen. I couldn’t believe the deal I was getting and accepted the project.First step was to get measurements. A representative came to my house and took measurements, 15 minute process. We then find out that we have to have a second measurement done for the area of which I want tile to be placed. I taped the area of which I wanted and showed the representative the smaller areas that he was to measure. This individual was in my home for an hour and argued with me about why I was mixing the two styles. I politely asked him to not argue and just measure the space that I am asking him to do. I then find out that I have to change out my original tile because it’s no longer in stock (keep in mind NO-ONE discussed with me the trim or additional product needed for the project besides requesting that I just pick out the tile and vinyl). I then wait for the date of install.I’m told the day before that we have to reschedule due to a family emergency. I’m then told that the original 3 day install will be condensed to 2 days to compensate for time lost on the first day and reschedule. Installer arrives and I take him to my kitchen. He then asks me where the bathroom was. I showed him my bathroom and then begins to take pictures and stare at the floor. I ask, sir why are you staring at my floor and taking pictures. He says, “we are installing tile”. I said sir you’re confused. Your project is in my kitchen where I just took you. My bathroom is already tiled. Once we clarified the project I left him to his work. I leave for work and left my partner home to supervise. I was at work just a half hour and got a call from my partner and he tells me that we don’t have all the product and mismatch product. I tell him to just pay what is needed and I’ll talk to management at Home Depot on my way home.I stop at Home Depot and discuss the issue with the product. I explain that I want white trim along all walls. As I’m explaining the issue and trying to fix it, the installer shows up at the store. Myself, the installer, and assistant manager have a conversation and correct the issue by sending me home with white trim to replace the pine trim. It’s now day 2 and the installer tells me the project is done. I inspect his work and immediately was upset. I decided to tell the gentleman what he needed to hear to get him out of my home. I then packed up extra unused product to return to the store and discuss my concerns. I received my refund for the product and the assistant manager requested a refund for the $120 that we paid additionally for product that was not included in the original package. I then ask for additional compensation for the issues with measurement, timing, and for the installer choosing to not listen and install the wrong product. I’m told the GM will contact me. I received the final call today after playing phone tag for a moment. I was told that i would receive additional compensation of $75 for a gallon of paint to paint the trim white that I had said I would do because I did not trust anyone to “fix” the job. $50 of the $75 is considered the compensation. I’m beyond frustrated and did not want to fight anymore, so I agreed to the $75 credit.Accounting summary (approximately )Original cost: $2100Total refund: $300 (product return and compensation).Total cost $1800.See video and photosBe cautious. I will not be returning to Home Depot.

Ordered a refrigeratorPaid for delivery for Thursday. Was told I would get a 4 hour window the day before. But did not. So I Called Home Depot. They called the delivery company and said I would b the first delivery in the morning. I took off work, I emptied my fridge, moved furniture. Moved old fridge out. Shoved drivewayAbout 9am I got a call that the delivery would need to be rescheduled for the following Monday. I now have to bring old fridge back in, put everything back in the old fridge, move furniture backNo guarantee if or when it would comeSo now I take another day off, empty old fridge again, move furniture again and say a prayer 🙏And all the manager can tell me is he has no control and he is frustrated too.Really!!!!Not even sure why he called me

Customer service is horrible! I interacted with 10 different employees in multiple departments. Their attitudes varied from rude to unknowledgable.Inventory accuracy is a joke. Even though multiple employees said it is extremely accurate. Yet nobody was able to locate the item I came to the store to purchase.I would definitely recommend you shop the other stores in town.

They were supposed to come pick up a fridge after we had paid $50 for them to, called the wrong number to tell us they were coming and STILL never showed up. Then they were supposed to come pick it up a week later and claimed they had no route in line for us yet. Wont refund the $50 either, but won’t come get the fridge we paid for them to come get. Lowe’s is better.

I'm always in Home depot getting materials for home remodeling or tools for my mobile service company, I know where everything I need is located within the store and the employees know me by name.Plus I have the Pro extra points in place to track everything I'm buying just in case I've lost the receipt.

I recently purchased a new Milwaukee m18 cordless planer from the Jackson MI location. When I arrive home and opened the box it had clearly been used. Sawdust everywhere and missing hardware on the guide. I learned my lesson and will purchase my Milwaukee tools from my local hardware.

Call the ambulance, come and pick up your people.I am deeply disappointed with the lack of responsibility and negligence displayed by Home Depot regarding a lost cart incident in my neighborhood. This incident has left a lasting negative impression on my perception of the company.Recently, I noticed a Home Depot cart abandoned near my residence, causing an eyesore and obstructing the walkway. I reached out to Home Depot's customer service to report the situation and request immediate removal of the cart. To my dismay, the response I received was disheartening. The representative seemed indifferent and uninterested in addressing the issue promptly.Days went by, and the cart remained untouched, despite my repeated attempts to escalate the matter and emphasize the inconvenience it was causing to the neighborhood. Home Depot's lack of action and failure to address this concern in a timely manner reflects a blatant disregard for their own property and the impact it has on the community. What frustrates me even more is the fact that Home Depot carts are equipped with locking mechanisms, supposedly to prevent unauthorized removal. It is baffling how a cart could go missing in the first place, suggesting a severe lapse in the store's management and security protocols. This incident raises questions about Home Depot's commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for their customers and the communities they serve. It is disheartening to witness such negligence and indifference towards the consequences of their actions on the surrounding areas.I sincerely hope that Home Depot takes this incident as an opportunity to reevaluate their policies and procedures regarding cart management. Greater accountability and responsiveness are crucial to prevent similar situations in the future and to demonstrate a genuine concern for the communities impacted by their operations.Regrettably, based on this experience, I find it challenging to recommend Home Depot as a responsible and community-oriented establishment. Their failure to address the lost cart incident adequately reflects a lack of consideration for their customers and the neighborhoods they serve.

Paid about $1600 for a washer and dryer. They were delivered on Tuesday. Today, when we finally got the chance to unbox them (turns out you have to work to afford a washer/dryer), the dryer has a maytag base and a whirlpool top. It is poorly assembled. There were loose bolts in the box, it's scratched, and the top lifts about an inch when you touch it. I called homedepot and they said that bc I waited more than 48 hours to unbox, they won't take it back and we could only call the company (which one whirlpool or maytag?). I was never informed of that policy. I will never order appliances from there again. Additionally, before unboxing, we had tried to order a fridge. They just kept transferring the call and were very rude on the phone.

I bought a washer and dryer from Rod in appliances..He was professional and helpful. We made some changes like having both doors open the same way.Since they are stackable.also it was supposed to be delivered with installation. The folks that brought them were awful at there job.they couldn't install properly because they didn't have a vent for dryer and hoses were to short for washer and the front doors were opposite of one another and they left with my new washer and dryer sitting in the middle of my basement. I had to go and get my parts myself and complete installation. I'm not going to buy anything else that needs installation from Home Depot again . unfortunately because until this time I liked Home depot.

They have a customer that bought a fridge a couple years ago, the fridge has been nothing but issues. They have had several repair people come out because it is still under warranty. Never been able to fix it. She still has no working fridge. They refuse to claim that it is not fixable. They will not offer a new fridge or her money back. She is a mother and has kids. This is unacceptable of you to do to her. I hope she sues...

I went into the Home Depot on 9-24-2022 in Jackson, Michigan for a single item. I always feel it is a pleasant experience. The store has easy access parking like I have come to expect. The store was clean per usual and immediately I was greeted with a smile upon my arrival. I was able to locate my item promptly and was able to make my purchase in good time. As I was leaving, the person that greeted me also smiled and waved me good bye. I love this store over all the other home improvement type stores because of their location, but the friendly atmosphere makes this a stellar store and keeps me coming back.

I had the worst experience at the Home Depot in Jackson. Long story short, we went in store to order a storm door for replacement. After picking out our door, we went to schedule installation. The computers were having issues so we were told the order was placed and we would get a call from installers. After a week, we went back in store to see what the status was. We were told that the order we had was blank and thus cancelled. I was frustrated but I understand things happen. So we went through the process again. I was assured by the manager that we would receive better service this time. We did get the installers to the house to measure the door. Per the printed document we got from Home Depot, we expected a call to schedule the appointment within a week. It is now 3 weeks after and we hadn't heard anything. I just called to check status and wouldn't you know it, our order is blank again. No info on the door we supposedly ordered. The manager I spoke with was completely unhelpful. She transferred me back to Jim in millworks (who was kind, apologetic, and trying to be helpful) only to be told that we would have to start over again. I am done with Home Depot. I can't believe that lack of responsibility the management team took for this. It is a little project but between my dad and my brother-in-law and myself, we have spent MILLIONS of dollars on materials. So I decided to buy the door at Lowe's and will have it installed by a local contractor. It will be done next week. And now I am going to spend this snowy afternoon letting everyone know how disappointed I am in the response from Home Depot.

This happened to my mother!!Home Depot rips you off and charges you for their mistakesBe cautious using this company if you do not want to get ripped off with bogus charges. I was a loyal customer for more than a decade until my last project, and will never use them again. Ordered flooring and they lost it, it was sent to the wrong store through their mistake, then the flooring company initially refused to do the work we paid for when he came to the house because he did not have the correct order from the store and was not prepared to for a tear out on a friday so he left. Promised discounts that never materialized because of home depot mistakes and all of the avoidable delays, I ended up doing all the tear out that the company was supposed to do but refused, and then they added trip charges due to their mistakes. They charged me $250 in charges for the trip when the flooring was not at the store because of their mistake, even though they never came to my home and home depot lost my order, and because the flooring professional was not properly prepared for the scope of the project when he did finally arrive. Their solution was to refund my tear out charges, I did the tear out so they owed that back, and tack on $250 in trip charges for their mistakes. Dealt with Shawn the manager here in Jackson and he didnt do anything he told us he would to mitigate the issues, or address the trip charges resulting from their screw ups. After being a loyal customer for more than 10 years I will not shop here again, I go to Lowes now.

Remodeling our house and found out this store has the biggest selection of floors, tiles, and countertops in the area. You can go online and download a picture of your kitchen and see how the product will look. The employees were knowledgeable about the products and very helpful.

I needed assistance getting a microwave oven from a shelf which was too high. A staff member helped me quickly and cheerfully. It was the third store I tried for a microwave which was less than 10.5" high. This one worked perfectly. Woo hoo!

DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE TO DO THE RIGHT THING! Home Depot in Jackson Michigan does not stand behind their sales. I had an order for a dishwasher that was incorrectly input into their system. As in, the Home Depot associate ordered the wrong thing. When it was delivered, they demanded a signature after throwing the box in the kitchen. No one had a chance to check for correct product or if it was damaged in anyway. The signature they got was for receiving the product only. The wrong dishwasher arrived because the initial order was incorrect. Now, Home Depot says they will not make this right. They don't return appliances - that would be fine IF THEY TOLD YOU THAT and IF they ordered correctly. The people now stuck with this incorrect item with a price tag of $700 are elderly. So, be aware. Don't trust Home Depot to fix their mistake in ordering. And don't trust them to do the right thing for their elderly customers. It's a sad state when stores take advantage of people, especially the elderly, who knew what they wanted and told the store representative. The representative got it wrong and now they are stuck with a $700 dishwasher that's absolutely useless. I know I'll never go to Home Depot again.
