Saw a used pair of shoes that would have been good for all-around wear. Then, I saw the price of 9.99 - ouch! After that, I noticed that there were no insoles. I took the shoes to the counter and asked if a mistake had been made. The cashier took the shoes out back, came back, and said, "Nope, that's the price they are." So, I left disgruntled. As I approached the door, the cashier exclaimed, "At least you could have taken them back to the shelf." Someone was having a bad day?

Reliable place to pick up just about anything. Last week on my way out of town I needed a new soda stream bottle. Figured it was worth a chance to check because it was a quick in and out. Sure enough, one brand new bottle for less than $2 saving me $18 at wally world (next closest place that would have it) but saving me at least 18 mins parking and getting through checkout. Today I needed yellow and purple ribbons. Found an excellent selection for far superior quality for far less money. Plus brand new Gwen Frostic note cards. I've had the best success boot shopping here. Exceptional quality and prices. Usually for $24. Brand names, all leather. Finally, they have a 94 cents clothes rack that inevitably has something nice in the right size, color and fabric. Prices are better here than at the other thrift stores in Jackson. Shop the sale colors for even deeper savings. I appreciate all they do for the community too. Open later than some thrift stores in town which I appreciate as well.

This used to be a great place but they’re pricing items for more than new prices now. Literally a shelf that I could buy from target for $40 was priced for $60. They had a broken blow mold with no paint left for $100. Shame on the people running this store.

There's a certain employee that works there she is very rude individual lied so I couldn't come back not sure of her name but needs to be fired! Making false accusations.... She has blonde hair and wears glasses she will get what she deserves she keeps treating customers the way she does! Thanks lady I hope the worst for you !!

Unbelievably predatory pricing. For an organization that prides itself on “serving the underprivileged”, they have no problem gouging every dime from those pockets.

I do think some of their items were a little pricey, not by much, like 3 dollars for certain toys I thought was a little much for a thrift store.. but not horrible.They did have a section that items were like 19.99 and the items clearly were not that value. In fact I had one of the items in the section and I believe I got it for 25 cents. Unsure what they priced that particular item at.However, overall, I enjoyed it. I found some good stuff. Staff was nice. The rows are extremely narrow though. It made getting through it with a cart pretty frustrating.

They close at 3pm on Saturdays. Enough said. These idiots being Saint Vincent DePaul have consistently the worst hours of any thrift store. Guess they dont care how much money they lose to those who they would give to in need by their incompentent business practices.

7/1/23 Wife was going to drop off a few items today, cooking items, some Halloween decorations, when the old white guy working there started yelling at my wife" I'm not taking any Christmas stuff right now, my wife replied I don't have any Christmas stuff, the man yelled again I'm not taking any Christmas, what he was looking at was a Halloween ghost decoration, my wife just put the stuff back in her car and took it to goodwill. This man who every he is was very rude and we will never take anything to them again.

Very reasonably priced thrift store. Book selection is great, could be sorted a bit better, but that’s a small nitpick. Great selection of toys, blankets, electronics, dishes, and more. Plus, with the newly renovated floors and lights, the store feels much cleaner and more open. Would highly recommend for anyone who loves to thrift.

Rude and prices have gotten ridiculous for stuff that's donated it's a shame same with goodwill there worse and snotty+rude!! And the people at st Vincent's even the managers steal whatever they want at night before they go home they each take there pickings home with them and don't pay for a single thing!

The cashier was so kind and helpful. It was an African American Woman. Customer service has been falling short it seems and this woman was a refreshing change in pace compared to what I have seen recently. UNFORTUNATELY THE STORE WAS PACKED WITH CUSTOMER'S AND SHE WAS WORKING THE REGISTER ALONE🤔

There's a lady named Melissa who works there and she greets me with a big ol' smile and a Warm Welcome eveytime I walk in! She's friendly, and funny and I always see her helping others whenever they need it. I saw her wall an elderly woman out to her car once. She's always working hard, you'll never see her sitting down or talking on her cell phone. Long story short she is a Big part of why I shop there. Thank you Melissa! Your the Best!

Saint Vincent’s is my favorite place to shop for great (affordable) clothes! Everytime I go, I always seem to find a great pair of jeans or a sweatshirt!! The staff is really friendly and overall has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend coming here!

I will never ever be back. I saw a papasan chair in the window and went up to the front desk. The lady was friendly and put down my name and number. I called a month later and was told that they hadn’t changed the window sets yet but when they did I would get a call. 2 months later and no call. Well I called today and was told they called someone else for it and she got it. Really? After I’ve waited for 2 months and was first on the list. Terrible terrible terrible. Don’t count on getting anything in the window. Especially if you wait 2 months to get it.

There's a STRONG reason I give this place Two Stars. In the 30+ times I have walked through their front door and exited...not ONCE has a single soul ever said "hello" or "have a nice day" to us as we've come to spend money.I'm sorry, if you're needing MY money on your over-priced pieces of furniture, I'm gonna need at least a simple salutation. It's not much to ask. For a religious organization, it seems rediculous to be treated like poo, and expect community support because of it. Leaving yesterday, I mentioned in the car, I wouldn't be upset not spending a single dollar in this store.I've held my tongue, but I just refuse at this point. Have your conversations behind the counter and ignore your customers. It's all good. Y'all some rude people running that shop.

This is a great place to shop it's set up to help the poor more then most of the places I. The Jackson area the staff is helpful in many ways and they are the friendliest people you want to meet come one come all it's highly recommended over the east Michigan store
